Se,one of the trace elements necessary for the human body,has begun to be applied and developed in medicine and other life sciences. Developing Se-enriched agricultural relying on Guangxi's unique Se-enriched soil resources is of great significance to enhance people's quality of life,increase the added value of agricultural products,and promote the transformation and upgrading of modern agriculture in the region. Starting with the development status and advantages of industrial development of Se-enriched agriculture in Guangxi,the main problems existing in the current industrial development of Se-enriched agriculture in Guangxi were summarized,and specific countermeasures were put forward in this paper,so as to provide theoretical support for the development of Se-enriched agriculture in Guangxi. 展开更多

The impact of land use changes on watercourses is poorly documented in Cameroon. Therefore, this study examines the effects of agriculture and urbanization on water quality, the structure and functional organization of macroinvertebrates of streams in the coastal zone of Cameroon. Nine sampling stations including three per catchment area with different land occupations (agricultural, urban and forest) were selected. Benthic macroinvertebrates were sampled monthly from February to July 2018 and the physicochemical variables were measured simultaneously. The urban and agricultural streams showed highly polluted waters with high nutrient and suspended matter content, whereas the forest stream waters are moderately polluted. In addition, the hierarchical ascending classification indicated a proximity in water quality between the agricultural and forest streams for which the main physicochemical variables did not vary significantly. With regards to macroinvertebrates, the forest watercourse is characterized by the proliferation of pollution-sensitive taxa, high diversity indices and complex trophic structuring, indicating its good ecological status. In contrast the urban watercourse, heavily polluted is characterized by low diversity indices reflecting a simplification of the structure of stands dominated by the pollution-tolerant collector-gatherer stands. The majority of biological indices and functional feeding groups were not significantly different between the agricultural and forest streams, suggesting a less pronounced impact of agriculture on macroinvertebrates. Our results showed that, riparian vegetation even though constituted of perennial crops, reduces the effects of agricultural inputs on streams and promotes the establishment of diversified macroinvertebrate communities. 展开更多

Governmental functions in agricultural industrialization management are analyzed, mainly including supplying public products, providing property right security, managing and protecting resources and environment as well as stabilizing the agro-product market. The policy orientation promoted by the government in agricultural industrialization management is pointed out: formulating a series of macro-management planning to guide and regulate agricultural industrialization operation; fully playing the comprehensive coordinating role of "economic manager"; making and carrying out relevant laws and regulations to normalize the implementation of agricultural industrialization management. To implement the industrial management of agriculture and promote the construction of new countryside, governments at all levels should eliminate the institutional barriers, transform governmental functions gradually and prioritize planning, regulation, service and supervision, changing from merely management to playing the role of market mechanism. Meanwhile, economic, legal and administrative means should be properly adopted to advance the industrial management and the healthy improvement of modern agriculture. 展开更多

Constructing the modern agriculture with Chinese characteristics is the path and direction for solving issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers in China, the key to new village construction, the important measure for promoting overall agricultural production capacity, and the prerequisite and guarantee for coordinating urban-rural development. At present, the level of agricultural mechanization in China is promoted steadily; the science and technology are applied to agriculture extensively; the agricultural regionalization layout gradually takes shape; the agricultural industrialization management develops steadily. Be that as it may, the overall quality of farmers is low; the agricultural infrastructure is weak; the agricultural resources are limited; the inputs of agricultural science and technology are short. These hamper the development of modern agriculture. We should implement "industry nurturing agriculture"; through capital support and policy guidance, reform household registration system; connect the fragmented land into parcel; encourage the leading enterprises to develop in rural areas; establish agricultural cooperative organizations; deepen rural financial system reform; quicken the promotion and application of agricultural technology. This paper used D~ C2 R model of DEA to assess the comparative efficiency of the multiple schemes of agricultural industrial structure, at the end we chose the most favorable also known as "OPTIMAL" scheme. In addition to this, using some functional insights from DEA model non optimal schemes or less optimal schemes had also been improved to some extent. Assessment and selection of optimal schemes of agricultural industrial structure using DEA model gave a greater and better insight of agricultural industrial structure and was the first of such researches in Pakistan. 展开更多

We examined scale advantages of each discretionary scheme, tested profoundly a definitive purpose behind not-DEA efficient, which elucidated the system and methodology to enhance these discretionary plans. At the end, another method had been proposed to rank and select the optimal scheme. The desert in northern China is one of important sources of loess and one significant source of material for sandstorms in Asia.The sand/dust that is transported from desert when sandstorms occur can destroy the growth of crops,cause serious losses and great harm to the economic construction and life safety,and cause natural environment pollution.Hence,it is very important to deepen the research into heavy metals in surface deposits at vulnerable ecological region of arid land of northern China to guide local industrial and agricultural development and improve environmental protection.In this research,10 heavy metal elements(Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd,Pb,and Th)were tested and analyzed in 33 soil sample sites collected from the hinterland of the Tengger Desert,northern China.The results showed that the average abundance of Th exceeded its background soil value of China by more than 5.2 times,which suggests that the Tengger Desert is polluted by Th.In addition,based on principal component analysis,spatial differentiation,and correlation analysis,we identified the source of element with a coefficient of variation in abundance of greater than 0.5 or exceeding the background soil value of China.Principal component analysis and correlation analysis showed that the sources of heavy metals of Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,and Cd were similar,while those of Th and Zn were different.Moreover,based on the contents and spatial distribution characteristics of those heavy metal elements,we found that the formation of heavy metal elements enrichment areas is caused by industrial pollution,development of irrigated agricultural,geological,and geomorphic conditions,and the sedimentary environment in the study area.Our result can provide information on the environmental background values of soils in the hinterland of the Tengger Desert. 展开更多

Characteristics of Thermal Climate Resources Changes of Agricultural Production during Frost Period in Jianchang County

[Objective] The characteristics of thermal climate resources changes of agricultural production during frost period in Jianchang County were studied. [Method] By dint of Jianchang climate resources and routine numerical statistics method, the sunlight and temperature changes trend from 1960 to 2009 in Jianchang County were analyzed. [Result] The sunshine hours and sunshine percentages during frost period in Janchang County from 1960 to 2009 tended to decrease. The climate tendency rates were -55.556 h/10 a and -2.39%/10 a respectively, 287 h and 12% of deduction in recent 50 years. There were climate transition in 1981 and 1982. And there were a shortage of 161 h and 7% of sunshine hours and sunshine percentages before and after the transition. The temperature during the frost period generally was increasing. The average temperature, average maximum and lowest temperature tendency rate were 0.386, 0.392 and 0.567 ℃/10 a. There was a growth of 1.93, 1.96 and 2.84 ℃ in recent 50 years. There were temperature transition in 1987 and 1988. The average temperature, average maximum and lowest temperature increased 1.3, 1.2 and 1.7 ℃. In recent 50 years, the sunshine resources during frost period in Jianchang were decreasing, while the thermal resources were strengthening, forming complementary of light and heat. [Conclusion] The study provided climate accordance to the development of local facility agriculture during frost period. 展开更多

In this article,early warning analyses on agricultural industrial safety in Hunan Province from 2001 to 2013 are performed by constructing a four-indexed evaluation system and adopting the entropy weighted grey relational analysis model.The results show that Hunan's agricultural industrial safety showed a good trend of transforming from"heavy warning"to"light warning";the early warning results of agricultural industrial productivity index and the overall index remained consistent and performed well;the agricultural industrial competitiveness index and dependence index changed frequently and fluctuated around"medium warning";and the control power index showed a deteriorating trend from"light warning"to"heavy warning".Therefore,support shall be increased continuously for the agricultural industry in terms of system construction,policy support and capital supply,and technological innovations and system innovations in the agricultural industry shall be promoted,especially for the improvement of the independent control of domestic capital,truly ensuring the efficiency,stability and safety of the agricultural industry development. 展开更多
