Analysis of Factors Influencing Residents'Satisfaction with Pairing Aid Policy in Xinjiang:Based on the Data from Three Prefectures in Southern Xinjiang

This article concentrates on evaluating residents'satisfaction with the implementation of the pairing aid policy in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.It introduces the key factors influencing the evaluation of residents'satisfaction with the performance of the pairing aid policy in Xinjiang by investigating the related data acquired from 12 field studies.It builds a binary logistic regression model via modern econometrics theory and utilizes the regression model to conduct the empirical analysis of influencing factors.The results reveal that there is no variation between the residents'education level,ethnicity,location,and satisfaction with the work of village cadres on the residents'evaluation of the implementation effect of the pairing aid policy in Xinjiang.Besides,ten variables such as residents'gender,age,revenue,occupation,whether they are rural residents,and satisfaction level(pairing aid policy in Xinjiang,state subsidy policy,medical improvement,education improvement,housing condition improvement)are steady and significant factors affecting residents'satisfaction with the implementation effect of pairing aid policy in Xinjiang.Finally,based on the analysis and findigns,it proposes corresponding countermeasures.

The Status Quo, Opportunity and Approach——the Development of Ethnic Minorities in the Context of the Belt and Road Initiative

Currently, China is advancing the Belt and Road Initiative, which creates a new opportunity of historical significance and provides guidance for the economic and social development of ethnic minority communities(particularly those in western China). Under the new historical conditions, it is necessary to innovate and improve China's regional aid policies and regional development strategies such as the "pairing assistance" and the Western Development, and organically combine them with the Belt and Road Initiative. In the meantime, China should revolve tightly around the internal and external "connectivity," and give full play to the functions of the "pairing assistance" policy and the "Western Development" strategy in a bid to boost the ethnic development of contemporary China within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Chinese college student aid policy:A case study of H University

The research findings have made it clear that Chinese college student aid policy has several characteristics.Generally speaking,student financial aid is increasing up to some extent.The government financial aids focus mostly on improving equality of educational opportunity in higher education.However,aids from the government are inadequate,especially national student loans.Besides,all kinds of aids were decreasing from 2004 to 2006 and the aid programs were short of stability between various years.In order to improve equal access to higher education through student aid policy,it is necessary to enlarge the government aids and reform the aid system.
