The principle of electric braking system is analyzed and an anti-skid braking system based on the slip rate control is proposed.The fuzzy-PID controller with parameter self-adjustment feature is designed for the anti-skid braking system.The dynamic model of aircraft ground braking is established in the simulation environment of MATLAB/SIMULINK,and simulation results of dry runway and wet runway are presented.The results show that the fuzzy-PID controller with parameter self-adjustment feature for the electric anti-skid braking system keeps working in the state of stability and the brake efficiencies are increased to 93%on dry runway and 82%on wet runway respectively. 展开更多

In asymmetric conditions,the movement and loads of left/right wheels or front/back wheels of the aircraft with multi-wheel or four-wheel bogie landing gears are inconsistent.There are few open literatures related to anti-skid braking system for multi-wheels due to technology blockade.In China,the research on multi-channel control and non-equilibrium regulation has just started,and the design of multi-channel control system for anti-skid braking,the simulation of asymmetry taxiing under braking are not studied.In this paper,a dynamics model of ground movement for aircraft with four-wheel bogie landing gears is established for braking simulation, considering the six-degree-of-freedom aircraft body and the movement of bogies and wheels.A multi-channel anti-skid braking system is designed for the wheels of the main landing gears with four-wheel bogies.The eight wheels on left and right landing gears are divided into four groups,and each group is controlled via one channel.The cross protection and self-locked protection modules are added between different channels.A multi-channel anti-skid braking system with slip-ratio control or with slip-velocity control is established separately.Based on the aircraft dynamics model,aircraft braking to stop with anti-skid control on dry runway and on wet runway are simulated.The simulation results demonstrate that in asymmetric conditions,added with cross protection and self-locked protection modules,the slip-ratio-controlled braking system can automatically regulate brake torque to avoid deep slipping and correct aircraft course.The proposed research has reference value for improving brake control effect on wet runway. 展开更多

The test results of the rejected take-off (RTO) of brake pairs were analyzed. It is confirmed that the failure reality for brake pair is the destruction of the friction materials. Therefore, after the limit energy test of brake pairs, three criteria for their failure were put forword. The definition of the maximum brake pressure and the selection of the initial test energy were introduced. The products of USA and domestic substitute of brake pairs for Boeing 737 airplane were tested by these methods. The test results show that the limit energy of brake pairs can be determined by 2 or 3 experiments, thus the test cost is reduced. 展开更多

A new P/M route based hot powder pre-form forging process has been evolved to develop high density brake materials for heavy duty applications. Number of iron based MMC’s so developed offer better characteristics for braking applications in comparison to the materials developed through conventional P/M route based on high pressure compaction and pressure sintering. The process so developed in the present investigations is much simpler and easy to adopt by existing P/M industries. Hot powder pre-form forging technique for making heavy duty brake pads offers better opportunity for pore free material with better bonding between various metallic and non-metallic constituents. After conducting an initial characterization such as hardness, density and Pin-on Disc tests, the samples were tested for high energy (32,933kgfm) on Sub-scale dynamometer under Rejected Take Off conditions. The results have also been compared with respect to brake pads employed in heavy duty Military aircraft tested under identical laboratory conditions. The present work indicates that the newly developed materials compare better than the one being currently employed in heavy duty aircraft. The reasons for better performance are improved processing technique and resulting higher levels of density and improved binding of the product. 展开更多

Prior industrial hygiene research involving wheel brake changing on a light general aviation aircraft has shown negligible potential for asbestos fiber exposure to mechanics that perform such work. This is despite the use of organic-style brake friction pads that contained asbestos. It has been otherwise established that chrysotile asbestos is largely degraded to a non-crystalline, amorphous substance by the heat and mechanical shear forces inherent to the braking process. However, trace (<1.0%) quantities of chrysotile have been found in brake wear dust. Disc-style brakes, the types used on aircraft, are of open design, such that wear dust is typically dispersed into the ambient air during and after brake application. For fixed-gear aircraft, the brake assemblies are also subject to substantial air velocities while the aircraft is in flight. This research was undertaken to measure and characterize the airflows experienced by aircraft wheel assemblies during takeoff, cruise, and landing maneuvers. No wear (brake) dust was observed at any point during the study. 展开更多

在传统牵引车牵引飞机的运动过程中,其制动行为是通过牵引车独立制动来完成的,主要用于低速推出牵引和轻载中速维护牵引工况。针对未来飞机牵引滑行的高速重载新特征,仅靠牵引车实施制动能否满足牵引系统制动性能需要重新评估。为此,文... 在传统牵引车牵引飞机的运动过程中,其制动行为是通过牵引车独立制动来完成的,主要用于低速推出牵引和轻载中速维护牵引工况。针对未来飞机牵引滑行的高速重载新特征,仅靠牵引车实施制动能否满足牵引系统制动性能需要重新评估。为此,文中考虑了由飞机和牵引车联合制动的新模式,即由飞机主起落架机轮刹车系统和牵引车轮刹车系统同时制动,通过分配制动力来实现牵引车-飞机系统的制动行为。建立了飞机牵引滑行时制动过程的动力学模型,并以B737-200型飞机和TBL-180型牵引车为例,分析对比了牵引车单独制动和牵引车-飞机联合制动两种模式下的系统制动性能和制动安全性。结果表明:牵引车-飞机联合制动时的制动性能远优于牵引车单独制动时的制动性能,是飞机高速牵引滑行时紧急制动的优选模式;在安全性方面,牵引车-飞机联合制动时的前起落架横向载荷也远小于牵引车单独制动,会为飞机前起落架结构保留更大的横向冲击安全裕度。 展开更多

以某型双轮支柱式起落架为研究对象,对飞机刹车诱导低频振动问题进行了研究,首先建立了完备的飞机着陆刹车滑跑整机六自由度数学模型,并在Simulnk中完成模型的搭建,用以分析了刹车控制律的部分参数对抖振的影响。其次,以轮轴中心航向加... 以某型双轮支柱式起落架为研究对象,对飞机刹车诱导低频振动问题进行了研究,首先建立了完备的飞机着陆刹车滑跑整机六自由度数学模型,并在Simulnk中完成模型的搭建,用以分析了刹车控制律的部分参数对抖振的影响。其次,以轮轴中心航向加速度的RMS值作为振动量化指标,与结合系数效率一同设置为优化目标,基于NSGA-Ⅱ算法对液压刹车控制系统参数进行多目标优化设计,得到了优化变量的Parato最优前沿面和TOPSIS方法折衷最优解。最后,根据得到的优化设计方案对比分析优化前后的轮轴中心振动响应,并设置多组仿真工况检验了优化方案对不同着陆环境的适应性。结果显示优化后的起落架轮轴中心加速度Rms值最大降幅能达到14.53%,结合系数效率最大增幅为3.65%,表明所提出的起落架减振优化设计方法具有良好的实现性。 展开更多

The wheel brake system of an aircraft is the key to ensure its safe landing and rejected takeoff.A wheel’s slip state is determined by the brake torque and ground adhesion torque,both of which have a large degree of uncertainty.It is this nature that brings upon the challenge of obtaining high deceleration rate for aircraft brake control.To overcome the disturbances caused by the above uncertainties,a braking control law is designed,which consists of two parts:runway surface recognition and wheel’s slip state tracking.In runway surface recognition,the identification rules balancing safety and braking efficiency are defined,and the actual identification process is realized through recursive least square method with forgetting factors.In slip state tracking,the LuGre model with parameter adaptation and a brake torque compensation method based on RBF neural network are proposed,and their convergence are proven.The effectiveness of our control law is verified through simulation and ground experiment.Especially in the experiments on the ground inertial test bench,compared to the improved pressure-biased-modulation(PBM)anti-skid algorithm,fewer wheel slips occur,and the average deceleration rate is increased by 5.78%,which makes it a control strategy with potential for engineering applications. 展开更多

温室效应对全球环境产生了巨大的影响,飞机在高空飞行过程中排放的废气相较于地面排放对大气影响更大.并且商业航线也朝着更密集的趋势发展,为了实现航空出行的无碳化,促使商业飞机朝着多电,甚至全电化发展.相较于传统飞机,多电和全电... 温室效应对全球环境产生了巨大的影响,飞机在高空飞行过程中排放的废气相较于地面排放对大气影响更大.并且商业航线也朝着更密集的趋势发展,为了实现航空出行的无碳化,促使商业飞机朝着多电,甚至全电化发展.相较于传统飞机,多电和全电飞机的刹车系统都采用电驱动代替液压驱动,而电驱动刹车系统的性能品质是多电/全电飞机安全稳定着陆的关键因素之一.通过总结国内外有关多电/全电飞机以及电驱动刹车的技术发展历程,介绍了民用多电飞机电驱动刹车的结构组成,以及此类电驱动刹车各子系统、子系统之间交互的动力学建模方法.由于电驱动刹车系统可以归结为由多个刚性子系统组成的多体系统,子系统之间的接触因为间隙、摩擦存在不连续的相互作用力.另外,飞机在着落接地瞬间存在冲击,滑跑过程中主机轮由于存在滑动,与地面的摩擦力系数随时间变化,这些也会给整个刹车系统引入不连续性.民用多电飞机电刹车系统的子系统之间接触力存在不连续而引起的系统交互的不连续,以及外部不连续激励引发电刹车系统产生复杂动力学行为的机理是未来的研究重点. 展开更多

基于改进ABC-RBF的飞机全电刹车系统智能故障诊断

由于现有的故障诊断方法存在诊断平均误差值较高、耗时较长的问题,为此设计了基于改进ABC-RBF神经网络的飞机全电刹车系统故障自动诊断方法;设计采用“USB接口+ARM+FPGA”的硬件架构方式和由上位机、信号衰减电路等构成的故障信号采集器... 由于现有的故障诊断方法存在诊断平均误差值较高、耗时较长的问题,为此设计了基于改进ABC-RBF神经网络的飞机全电刹车系统故障自动诊断方法;设计采用“USB接口+ARM+FPGA”的硬件架构方式和由上位机、信号衰减电路等构成的故障信号采集器,实施飞机全电刹车系统故障信号采集;设计基于互信息与变分模态分解(VMD)的信号降噪算法对采集到的信号实施降噪处理;采用改进后的ABC算法对RBF神经网络参数进行寻优,确保寻优参数的有效性;并引入模糊集合的概念来提高网络的性能,利用梯度下降法进行网络训练更新,降低诊断结果误差;由此将降噪信号输入,利用优化训练后的RBF神经网络实现飞机全电刹车系统的故障自动诊断;结果表明,该方法的偏离因子值最低达到0.08×10^(-3),3种故障的平均诊断迭代时间均较短,其中主起落架“走步”故障的平均诊断迭代时间最短。 展开更多

Furthermore, the determination of braking moment will be concerned in the reasonableness of the demands proposed for the material design of a brake. For this reason, through setting up the mechanical model of a wheel and tyre under taxiing and braking, dynamic simulations on the optimal closed-loop control of braking moment are carried out by means of the nonlinear control theory. The simulation results show that the difference between the real output of the ABS and the expected one can tend to the minimum under the optimal control. And also, this optimal control can guarantee the braking moment to change smoothly. 展开更多

Cu-based powder metallurgy brake materials are used for aircraft widely and successfully.The characteristics of worn surface of Cu-based powder metallurgy brake materials for aircraft after working under service condition were studied,and two main wear mechanisms were discussed.The results show that the main components of worn surface are graphite,SiO2,Fe,Cu and oxide of Fe(Fe3O4 and FeO);the worn surface can be divided into three zones:severe wear zone,mild wear zone,and low wear zone; fatigue wear and grain wear are the main wear mechanisms of Cu-based materials.Some debris kept between brake discs reduce the wear rate to a certain extent by taking part in the regeneration of friction film. 展开更多
