The fruit of Morinda citrifolia L., commonly known as noni, has an extensive history of use as a food and traditional medicine around the world. Adding value to Morinda citrifolia L. products, particularly the fruit, ...The fruit of Morinda citrifolia L., commonly known as noni, has an extensive history of use as a food and traditional medicine around the world. Adding value to Morinda citrifolia L. products, particularly the fruit, could be one way of building resilience in vulnerable farming households. The aim of this study was to determine the secondary metabolite and mineral composition of noni juice obtained by fermenting the fruit of Morinda citrifolia L. Fruits were collected in August 2022 from the local field in Thiès region, West of Senegal. Extraction yields were determined and the secondary metabolites were determined using conventional analytical methods. Calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium and potassium were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometer coupled with a CCD detector. The results show that an average fruit mass (503.2 ± 110.96 g) consists of 171.44 ± 50.01 g pulp and 34.06 ± 10.35 g seeds. The traditional extraction yield of noni juice is 16.46% after three weeks of fermentation. The contents of total polyphenols, flavonoids and tannins obtained in noni are 608.97 ± 4.53 mg EAG/100mL, 7.78 ± 0.01 mg EQ/100mL and 0.191 ± 0.01 mg EC/100mL respectively. The ethanol content of noni varies from 3.57 to 5.23 mL/100mL during extraction. Noni has a high calcium content with a concentration of 383.79 ± 33.23 mg/L. This is followed by a good concentration of magnesium, potassium and sodium, at 278.47 ± 26.30, 187.43 ± 10.7 and 155.95 ± 28.66 mg/L respectively. Noni also has an iron content of 202.15 ± 0.05 mg/L.展开更多

Solanum Nigrum Linn,the purpose of this study was to characterize the chemical components of the extract of Solanum Nigrum Linn by LC-MS/MS,and to identify 29 compounds by positive and negative total ion flow maps.The...Solanum Nigrum Linn,the purpose of this study was to characterize the chemical components of the extract of Solanum Nigrum Linn by LC-MS/MS,and to identify 29 compounds by positive and negative total ion flow maps.The potential mechanism of action of Solanum Nigrum Linn in treating alcoholic liver injury was investigated by means of network pharmacology and molecular docking.A total of 288 component target genes and 1010 disease target genes were obtained,and 98 intersection targets and 7 core targets were obtained after the intersection of the two genes.GO analysis and KEGG analysis respectively obtained 20 signaling pathways such as anti-inflammation and anti-apoptosis.The results of molecular docking showed that the blood components could successfully dock with the target proteins of the disease such as GAPDH,IL6,SRC,EGFR and ESR1.This study provided a scientific basis for the development and application of Solanum Nigrum Linn.展开更多

The color of films changes from violet to yellow when exposed to gamma radiation. The response of this dosimeter depends up on the concentration of chloral hydrate (CH) in the polymer material. The radiation chemical yield (G-value) of PVA dyed film was calculated and found to increase by increasing concentration of chloral hydrate. Post-irradiation storage on the response of the films are discussed. The overall combined uncertainty (at 2σ) associated with measurement of response (ΔA mm-1) at 600 nm for dose range 1 - 15 kGy is 5.6%.展开更多

From a green chemistry point of view, cascade (tandem) reactions are ideal techniques in organic synthesis for building complex structures. Cascade techniques are sometimes observed in coupling reactions under mild conditions with a tolerance of multifunctional groups. It will be interesting to find a cascade type reaction to synthesize polyphenolic ethers. The present study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activity of petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and water fractions of alcohol aqueous extracts of these two microalgae and to provide a theoretical basis for comprehensive utilization. The antioxidant activity was determined by total antioxidant capacity(TAC) determination, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) radical scavenging assay, ferrous ion-chelating ability(FICA) assay, and reducing power(RP) assay. The total phenolic content(TPC) and total flavonoid content(TFC) were also measured by the Folin-Ciocalteu and spectrophotometry methods, respectively. The results indicated that the extracts from these two microalgae possessed good antioxidant capacity. Analysis showed that most antioxidant performance indicators(TAC, DPPH, and RP) were positively correlated with the TPC of the extracts, suggesting that the phenolics might be the major components in C. cohnii and Schizochytrium sp., contributing to their antioxidative function. Therefore, the polar fractions of C. cohnii and Schizochytrium sp. could be further examined and considered for application in health products or cosmetics.展开更多

The phenol red was firs...An optical pH sensitive membrane for optical pH sensors has been developed by covalently immobilizing phenol red on optical transparent cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) membrane surfaces. The phenol red was first reacted with acrylamide to form a product of acrylamide grafted phenol red (AAGP), then the AAGP was covalently immobilized to the PVA membrane via surface grafting-polymerization using Fe^2+/H2O2 as initiator. The performance of the pH sensitive membrane was investigated and the results showed that the pH sensitive membrane has some features including a linear response scope from pH 6.5 to 8.5 closed with phenol solution, a rapid response time (〈:20 s), good reproducibility, reversibility, excellent stability and easiness of fabrication. These show that the pH sensitive membrane can be used as a sensitive layer for optical pH sensor.展开更多

The compositions of the resins were defined by 1H NMR (nuclear magnetic resonanse) spectroscopy and the dependence of the cured materials properties on the composition was established. Increase of a propargyl content resulted in char yield raise and the maximum value had been found for propargylated resin--58%. DSC (differential scanning calorimetry)-analysis of the resins has demonstrated that exothermic enthalpy of the curing process could be adjusted by varying the content of propargyl and allyl groups in the resin.展开更多

Analysis showed that most antioxidant performance indicators(TAC, DPPH, and RP) were positively correlated with the TPC of the extracts, suggesting that the phenolics might be the major components in C. cohnii and Schizochytrium sp., contributing to their antioxidative function. Therefore, the polar fractions of C. cohnii and Schizochytrium sp. could be further examined and considered for application in health products or cosmetics.

文摘An optical pH sensitive membrane for optical pH sensors has been developed by covalently immobilizing phenol red on optical transparent cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) membrane surfaces. The phenol red was first reacted with acrylamide to form a product of acrylamide grafted phenol red (AAGP), then the AAGP was covalently immobilized to the PVA membrane via surface grafting-polymerization using Fe^2+/H2O2 as initiator. The performance of the pH sensitive membrane was investigated and the results showed that the pH sensitive membrane has some features including a linear response scope from pH 6.5 to 8.5 closed with phenol solution, a rapid response time (〈:20 s), good reproducibility, reversibility, excellent stability and easiness of fabrication. These show that the pH sensitive membrane can be used as a sensitive layer for optical pH sensor.

文摘The recent studies of direct alcohol/ether synthesis process in slurry reactors were reviewed,and the research work in our laboratory was carried out in this paper.a global kinetics model for direct dimethyl ether(DME)synthesis from syngas over a novel Cu-Zn-Al-Zr slurry catalyst was established according to the total of 25 experimental data,and a steady-state one-dimensional mathematical model was further developed in bubble column slurry reactor(BCSR),which was assumed that the bubble phase was plug flow,and the liquid phase was fully mixed flow.The numerical simulations of reactor design of 100000 t/a dimethyl ether pilot plant indicate that higher pressure and lower temperature were favorable to the increase of CO conversion,selectivity of dimethyl ether,product yield and height of slurry bed.The optimal operating conditions for DME synthesis process were obtained:reaction temperature at 240℃,reactor pressure at 5 MPa and reactor diameter of 2.5 m.
文摘A new kind of modified thermoset resins were synthesized by phase-transfer Williamson reaction from novolac resin and mixtures of allyl- and propargyl-chlorides. The compositions of the resins were defined by 1H NMR (nuclear magnetic resonanse) spectroscopy and the dependence of the cured materials properties on the composition was established. Increase of a propargyl content resulted in char yield raise and the maximum value had been found for propargylated resin--58%. DSC (differential scanning calorimetry)-analysis of the resins has demonstrated that exothermic enthalpy of the curing process could be adjusted by varying the content of propargyl and allyl groups in the resin.
