We consider the existence of cluster-tilting objects in a d-cluster category such that its endomorphism algebra is self-injective,and also the properties for cluster-tilting objects in d-cluster categories.We get the ...We consider the existence of cluster-tilting objects in a d-cluster category such that its endomorphism algebra is self-injective,and also the properties for cluster-tilting objects in d-cluster categories.We get the following results:(1)When d>1,any almost complete cluster-tilting object in d-cluster category has only one complement.(2)Cluster-tilting objects in d-cluster categories are induced by tilting modules over some hereditary algebras.We also give a condition for a tilting module to induce a cluster-tilting object in a d-cluster category.(3)A 3-cluster category of finite type admits a cluster-tilting object if and only if its type is A1,A3,D2n-1(n>2).(4)The(2m+1)-cluster category of type D2n-1 admits a cluster-tilting object such that its endomorphism algebra is self-injective,and its stable category is equivalent to the(4m+2)-cluster category of type A4mn-4m+2n-1.展开更多
A new algorithm is proposed for completing the missing parts caused by the removal of foreground or background elements from an image of natural scenery in a visually plausible way. The major contributions of the prop...A new algorithm is proposed for completing the missing parts caused by the removal of foreground or background elements from an image of natural scenery in a visually plausible way. The major contributions of the proposed algorithm are: (1) for most natural images, there is a strong orientation of texture or color distribution. So a method is introduced to compute the main direction of the texture and complete the image by limiting the search to one direction to carry out image completion quite fast; (2) there exists a synthesis ordering for image completion. The searching order of the patches is defined to ensure the regions with more known information and the structures should be completed before filling in other regions; (3) to improve the visual effect of texture synthesis, an adaptive scheme is presented to determine the size of the template window for capturing the features of various scales. A number of examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.展开更多

However, many conventional object detection approaches cannot guarantee the object...The region completeness of object detection is very crucial to video surveillance, such as the pedestrian and vehicle identifications. However, many conventional object detection approaches cannot guarantee the object region completeness because the object detection can be influenced by the illumination variations and clustering backgrounds. In order to overcome this problem, we propose the iterative superpixels grouping (ISPG) method to extract the precise object boundary and generate the object region with high completeness after the object detection. First, by extending the superpixel segmentation method, the proposed ISPG method can improve the inaccurate segmentation problem and guarantee the region completeness on the object regions. Second, the multi- resolution superpixel-based region completeness enhancement method is proposed to extract the object region with high precision and completeness. The simulation results show that the proposed method outperforms the conventional object detection methods in terms of object completeness evaluation.展开更多
