China's Mainland has witnessed remarkable achievements in payment innovations based on internet and financial technologies in recent years,whereas Macao has made little progress in financial technologies,especiall...China's Mainland has witnessed remarkable achievements in payment innovations based on internet and financial technologies in recent years,whereas Macao has made little progress in financial technologies,especially in payment technologies.Based on the concept and types of third-party payment business in China's Mainland and Macao,as well as to investigate the causes for Macao’s lack of innovation in third-party payment,this study compares their differences from two aspects:business licensing authorities and key points of supervision.By comparison,although the classification and methods of third-party payment businesses are different between China's Mainland and Macao,they are all managed and licensed by a unified supervision department.Moreover,the key points of supervision in both places are similar,but unlike China's Mainland,which takes financial risk prevention as the principle and financial technology as the means to encourage innovation,Macao showed obvious deficiencies.In order to further deepen the connection between the financial markets of China's Mainland and Macao as well as boost financial technologies in Macao,this study aims to provide some suggestions and references for the development of cross-border payment systems.展开更多

By using the routine weather data and the numerical value forecast products,applying the weather analysis and diagnostic analysis methods,the cold wave weather which happened in the south area of Dalian was analyzed o...By using the routine weather data and the numerical value forecast products,applying the weather analysis and diagnostic analysis methods,the cold wave weather which happened in the south area of Dalian was analyzed on December 29-30,2009.The results showed that based on the temperature rise in prior period,the strong cold air accumulated in Mongolia and passed Ulan Bator,Erenhot to invade Dalian area.In the cold wave process,the circulation situations in the middle and high latitudes were the 'one ridge and one trough' pattern in Asia.The dynamic mechanisms were the rotary low-pressure trough in high altitude and the strong frontal zone,and the flow field which induced the cold wave to break out was the 'low trough rotation pattern'.After the cold air broke out,Dalian area was controlled by the strong cold advection.The cold high-pressure on the ground entered into the key zone and reached the intensity of cold wave.However,the circulation of cold wave occurrence was southerly,and the shifts of cold air and influence system were quicker.Therefore,the cold wave appeared in Dalian's south areas which included Lvshun,Dalian and Jinzhou.On this basis,the key point of cold wave weather forecast in Dalian area was summarized.展开更多
In order to describe the importance of uncertainty analysis in seawater intrusion forecasting and identify the main factors that might cause great differences in prediction results, we analyzed the influence of sea le...In order to describe the importance of uncertainty analysis in seawater intrusion forecasting and identify the main factors that might cause great differences in prediction results, we analyzed the influence of sea level rise, tidal effect, the seasonal variance of influx, and the annual variance of the pumping rate, as well as combinations of different parameters. The results show that the most important factors that might cause great differences in seawater intrusion distance are the variance of pumping rate and combinations of different parameters. The influence of sea level rise can be neglected in a short-time simulation (ten years, for instance). Retardation of seawater intrusion caused by tidal effects is obviously important in aquifers near the coastline, but the influence decreases with distance away from the coastline and depth away from the seabed. The intrusion distance can reach a dynamic equilibrium with the application of the sine function for seasonal effects of influx. As a conclusion, we suggest that uncertainty analysis should be considered in seawater intrusion forecasting, if possible.展开更多

In this regard, ordinary solution techniques lead to instability near the limit points and also have problems in case of snap-through and snap-back. Thus they fail to predict the complete load-displacement response. The arc-length method serves the purpose well in principle, received wide acceptance in finite element analysis, and has been used extensively. However modifications to the basic idea are vital to meet the particular needs of the analysis. Extensive use of lambda-cyhalothrin(LC)for agricultural and domestic pest control leads to the accumulation of its residues in soil and water,which poses a serious threat to the environment.Remediation of LC at the po...Extensive use of lambda-cyhalothrin(LC)for agricultural and domestic pest control leads to the accumulation of its residues in soil and water,which poses a serious threat to the environment.Remediation of LC at the point source is the most effective way to avoid its spread and harmful effects.Therefore,this study was planned to investigate the potential of indigenously isolated bacteria for the remediation of LC in cotton-vegetated soils.Three potent LC-degrading bacteria,Brucella intermedia Halol,Alcaligenes faecalis CH1S,and Aquamicrobium terrae CH1T,were isolated from a pyrethroid-contaminated soil.A consortium CHST comprising these three strains was found to exhibit a higher potential for LC degradation as compared to the individual strains.The degradation of LC by CHST was optimized for four varying factors,i.e.,pH,inoculum density(ID),carbon source(CS),and initial pesticide(i.e.,LC)concentration(PC),by applying Taguchi design of experiment.The contributions of these factors to the biodegradation of LC were found to be in the order of pH>CS>PC>ID.The enhanced degradation of LC(84%)was attained at pH 7.0 in minimum salt medium containing 10 mg L^(-1)LC and 3%inoculum.The consortium CHST was also augmented in sterilized and unsterilized soil microcosms at three PCs,i.e.,2,5,and 10 mg kg^(-1).After 21 d of incubation,complete LC degradation was achieved at 2 mg kg^(-1)PC in sterilized as well as unsterilized soil,whereas at higher PCs,the extent of degradation was comparatively less.At PC of 5 mg kg^(-1),88%and 96%LC degradation were observed in sterilized and unsterilized soils,respectively,compared to 79%and90%degradation at 10 mg kg^(-1),respectively.During biodegradation,the major metabolite of LC,i.e.,3-phenoxybenzoic acid,was produced and further degraded.In a cotton-planted soil spiked with 10 mg kg^(-1)LC,the consortium degraded 91.8%LC,as well as improving the agronomic parameters of the cotton plants.In a nutshell,the consortium CHST was found to be a promising candidate for the remediation of LC contamination at the point source.展开更多
