APPLICATION OF HARMONIC ANALYSIS METHOD TO RESEARCH ON ROTOR AIRLOADS

According to the rotor vortex theory,the rotor circulation and the rotorinduced velocity are developed into Fourier series.The circulation distributionalong blade spanwise is expressed in terms of segment-by-segment linearfunctions.In consequence the induced velocity equations and the circulationequations are derived.The engineering application of the rotor vortex theoryis provided.Then the induced velocity and its harmonic components are obtainedto provide a quantitative basis for the vortex model.For calculatingeach harmonic component of the induced velocity a simplified method is putforward which considers the effects of each order circulation with neglectingthose of higher order.The method saves the computer time and is of significantbenefit.

Analysis of Potential Causes of Safety Failure of New Energy Vehicle Power Batteries

The aim of this paper is to analyze the potential reasons for the safety failure of batteries for new-energy vehicles.Firstly,the importance and popularization of new energy batteries are introduced,and the importance of safety failure issues is drawn out.Then,the composition and working principle of the battery is explained in detail,which provides the basis for the subsequent analysis.Then,the potential impacts of factors such as overcharge and over-discharge,high and low temperature environments,internal faults,and external shocks and vibrations on the safety of the batteries are analyzed.Finally,some common safety measures and solutions are proposed to improve the safety of new energy batteries,in hopes of improving the safety of batteries for new-energy vehicle.

Property analysis of bistatic forward-looking SAR with arbitrary geometry

Bistatic forward-looking synthetic aperture radar（SAR） has many advantages and applications owing to its twodimensional imaging capability.There could be various imaging configurations because of the geometric flexibility of bistatic platforms,resulting in kinds of models built independently among which there could be some similar even the same motion features.Comprehensive research on such systems in a more comprehensive and general point of view is required to address their difference and consistency.Property analysis of bistatic forwardlooking SAR with arbitrary geometry is achieved including stripmap and spotlight modes on airborne platform,missile-borne platform,and hybrid platform of both.Emphasis is placed on azimuth space variance of some key parameters significantly affecting the subsequent imaging processing,based on which the frequency spectra are further described and compared considering respective features of different platforms for frequency imaging algorithm developing.Simulation results confirm the effectiveness and correctness of our analysis.

A knowledge discovery method based on analysis of multiple co-occurrence relationships in collections of journal papers

Purpose: This paper explores a method of knowledge discovery by visualizing and analyzing co-occurrence relations among three or more entities in collections of journal articles.Design/methodology/approach: A variety of methods such as the model construction,system analysis and experiments are used. The author has improved Morris' crossmapping technique and developed a technique for directly describing,visualizing and analyzing co-occurrence relations among three or more entities in collections of journal articles.Findings: The visualization tools and the knowledge discovery method can efficiently reveal the multiple co-occurrence relations among three entities in collections of journal papers. It can reveal more and in-depth information than analyzing co-occurrence relations between two entities. Therefore,this method can be used for mapping knowledge domain that is manifested in association with the entities from multi-dimensional perspectives and in an all-round way.Research limitations: The technique could only be used to analyze co-occurrence relations of less than three entities at present.Practical implications: This research has expanded the study scope of co-occurrence analysis.The research result has provided a theoretical support for co-occurrence analysis.Originality/value: There has not been a systematic study on co-occurrence relations among multiple entities in collections of journal articles. This research defines multiple co-occurrence and the research scope,develops the visualization analysis tool and designs the analysis model of the knowledge discovery method.

Information visualization analysis on Advances in Psychological Science:1983-2014

Objective： To describe the revolution and research status of Advances in Psychological Science. Methods： A total of 3060 articles published in Advances in Psychological Science from 1983 to 2014 were analyzed with the information visualization method using Citespace software from the aspects of pub- lications, cited frequency and downloads, funding, organizations, authors and keywords. Results： The results showed that the amount of literature published annually had an upward tendency, and 49.4% of the papers were supported by national or provincial projects. Institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences （CAS） and the normal universities were rated in the forefront of the sci- entific research output. Xiting Huang, Hong Li and Yuejia Luo were at the top of the list of prolific authors. Conclusions： A new pattern of cooperative development of the theory and application in the field of psychological research is forming.

Review of Design of Process Parameters for Squeeze Casting

Squeeze casting(SC)is an advanced net manufacturing process with many advantages for which the quality and properties of the manufactured parts depend strongly on the process parameters.Unfortunately,a universal efficient method for the determination of optimal process parameters is still unavailable.In view of the shortcomings and development needs of the current research methods for the setting of SC process parameters,by consulting and analyzing the recent research literature on SC process parameters and using the CiteSpace literature analysis software,manual reading and statistical analysis,the current state and characteristics of the research methods used for the determination of SC process parameters are summarized.The literature data show that the number of pub-lications in the literature related to the design of SC process parameters generally trends upward albeit with signifi-cant fluctuations.Analysis of the research focus shows that both“mechanical properties”and“microstructure”are the two main subjects in the studies of SC process parameters.With regard to materials,aluminum alloys have been extensively studied.Five methods have been used to obtain SC process parameters:Physical experiments,numeri-cal simulation,modeling optimization,formula calculation,and the use of empirical values.Physical experiments are the main research methods.The main methods for designing SC process parameters are divided into three categories:Fully experimental methods,optimization methods that involve modeling based on experimental data,and theoreti-cal calculation methods that involve establishing an analytical formula.The research characteristics and shortcomings of each method were analyzed.Numerical simulations and model-based optimization have become the new required methods.Considering the development needs and data-driven trends of the SC process,suggestions for the develop-ment of SC process parameter research have been proposed.

Theoretical analysis and experimental research on non-cavitation noise modulation mechanism of underwater counter-rotation propeller

The underwater counter-rotation propeller non-cavitation noise has an obvious mod- ulation characteristic which is due to the interaction of flow and blade. A modulation mecha- nism is presented in this paper. A sound pressure spectrum model is presented to describe its non-cavitation noise with application of generalized acoustic analogy method, the modulation mechanism is expressed with the improvement of sound pressure model. The power spectrum and modulation spectrum are presented by numerical simulation. Theoretical analysis and nu- merical simulation results are verified by the cavitation tunnel experiment. The modulation model of counter-rotation propeller is beneficial to the prediction modulation characteristics and identification of underwater high-speed vehicles.

A Survey on English Reading Status of Left-behind Children in Rural Areas of Northern China

Taking Suining County in Xuzhou city of Jiangsu province as the survey subject,this paper is to study the current English reading situation of the left-behind children based on a questionnaire survey of 472 respondents from 4 primary and middle schools in rural areas.The result indicated that there are serious problems in the current situation of English reading among left-behind children in rural areas,which are as follows:insufficient reading time and books,few access to having books,increased digital reading,many reading disabilities,poor reading environment,etc.This paper analyzes the reasons and gives corresponding countermeasures for society,school and family,to improve the English reading condition of rural left-behind children and to better promote their reading ability and habits.It also provides the reference for narrowing the disparity gap of reading resources services between urban and rural China.

Theoretical analysis and experimental research on port/starboard discrimination in towed line array

The theoretical analysis and experimental research on Port/Starboard (P/S) discrimination in towed line array are proposed. Two methods resolving the P/S ambiguity with hydrophone triplets are introduced. By processing experimental data, the theoretical analysis is verified. The processing algorithm is extended to broadband signal. The research results show that the method based on optimum beamforming with triplets can be used to remove the port/starboard ambiguity. Also because of the simplicity of the method, it is expected to be implemented in practical towed line array sonar.

PubExplorer:An interactive analytical system for visualizing publication data

With the intersection and convergence of multiple disciplines and technologies,more and more researchers are actively exploring interdisciplinary cooperation outside their main research fields.Facing a new research field,researchers often hope to quickly learn what is being studied in this field,which research points are receiving high attention,which researchers are studying these research points,and then consider the possibility of collaborating with core researchers on these research points.In addition,students who are preparing for academic further education usually conduct research on mentors and mentors’research platforms,including academic connections,employment opportunities,etc.In order to satisfy these requirements,we(1)design a research point state map based on a science map to help researchers and students understand the development state of a new research field;(2)design a bar-link author-affiliation information graph to help researchers and students clarify academic networks of scholars and find suitable collaborators or mentors;(3)designs citation pattern histogram to quickly discover research achievements with high research value,such as the Sleeping Beauty papers,recently hot papers,classic papers and so on.Finally,an interactive analytical system named PubExplorer was implemented with IEEE VIS publication data,and its effectiveness is verified through case studies.

Applicability Assessment of the 1998–2018 CLDAS Multi-Source Precipitation Fusion Dataset over China

Traditional hourly rain gauges and automatic weather stations rarely measure solid precipitation, except for those stations with weighing-type precipitation sensors. Microwave remote sensing has only a low ability to retrieve solid precipitation. In addition, there are no long-term, high-quality precipitation data in China that can be used to drive land surface models. To address these issues, in the China Meteorological Administration(CMA) Land Data Assimilation System(CLDAS), we blended the Climate Prediction Center(CPC) morphing technique(CMORPH) and Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications version 2(MERRA2) precipitation datasets with observed temperature and precipitation data on various temporal scales using multigrid variational analysis and temporal downscaling to produce a multi-source precipitation fusion dataset for China(CLDAS-Prcp). This dataset covers all of China at a resolution of 6.25 km at hourly intervals from 1998 to 2018. We performed dependent and independent evaluations of the CLDAS-Prcp dataset from the perspectives of seasonal total precipitation and land surface model simulation. Our results show that the CLDAS-Prcp dataset represents reasonably the spatial distribution of precipitation in China. The dependent evaluation indicates that the CLDAS-Prcp performs better than the MERRA2 precipitation, CMORPH precipitation, Global Land Data Assimilation System version 2(GLDAS-V2.1) precipitation,and CLDAS-V2.0 winter precipitation, as compared to the meteorological observational precipitation. The independent evaluation indicates that the CLDAS-Prcp dataset performs better than the Global Precipitation Measurement(GPM) precipitation dataset and is similar to the CLDAS-V2.0 summer precipitation dataset based on the hydrological observational precipitation. The simulated soil moisture content driven by CLDAS-Prcp is slightly better than that driven by the CLDAS-V2.0 precipitation, whereas the snow depth simulation driven by CLDAS-Prcp is much better than that driven by the CLDAS-V2.0 precipitation. This is because the CLDAS-Prcp data have included solid precipitation. Overall, the CLDAS-Prcp dataset can meet the needs of land surface and hydrological modeling studies.

With the help of the mapping software Citespace and based on analysis of international human geographers＇ journal outputs in terms of countries of residence, institutions, journals and key topics, this article demonstrates Chinese scholars＇ contributions to both top and regional journals in the field. The analysis shows that Anglophone geographers have been leading the development of human geography. It also demonstrates that human geographers have taken a more micro and dynamic perspective to explain environmental and social phenomena, rather than a macro and narrative approach. Scholars tend to focus more on daily life, with research topics such as home, food, body and other micro-material matters. The analysis further finds that emotional geography, geography of embodiment, food geography as well as non-representational theory have drawn increasing attention from researchers. People＇s perceptions of nature have been constructed through the development and negotiation of social relations. As China becomes more visible internationally in the context of a highly globalized and mobile world, increasing numbers of Chinese geographers have become involved in research on human geography. Some representative scholars and institutions, especially those based in Hong Kong, act as academic leaders by articulating their own voices to tell the unique Chinese story internationally through the publication of their research.
