Research on Digital Protection Strategy of Ancient Village Buildings in Shanxi Province based on Realistic Experience

As a large province with the most cultural relics on the ground in China,Shanxi has a large proportion of ancient villages in the country.In recent years,the state has begun to attach importance to traditional villages,and the number of ancient villages in Shanxi has been on the rise every year.Due to the difficulty of protecting ancient village buildings and the imperfect and imperfect traditional protection methods,the use of digital protection data retention,display and dissemination can play an important role in the protection of ancient villages.Common digital protection can not provide certain experience for ancient villages,but in the process of digital protection,the sense of experience is not strong,and a technology with perfect visual and tactile interaction is urgently needed to realize the realistic cultural experience and realize the real sense of digital protection of ancient villages.

Redevelopment Strategies of Tourism Landscape Resources in Ancient Villages of Southern Anhui Province

The ancient villages in southern Anhui Province are the cradle of Hsin-an Culture, where natural and cultural resources form the distinctive tourism resources. The paper elaborates the kinds of tourism landscape resources in ancient villages in southern Anhui, analyzes the existing problems during the current development process, suggests the principles of redevelopment and the reconstruction form of tourism products and finally attempts to discuss its future development models.

Protective Renovation and Cultural Inheritance of Ancient Villages——A Case Study of Hanjiaxiang Village in Chenggu County,Shaanxi Province of China

Cultural characteristics of the traditional architectural environment and places of traditional cultural activities in Hanjiaxiang Village,an immigrant village of the Ming Dynasty located in the present Yuangong Township,Chenggu County of Shaanxi Province,were studied to analyze influence of geographical environment,history and culture,and social environment on the village cultures.Specifically,cultural characteristics of traditional architectural environment in this village were elaborated from spatial layout,architectural structure,architectural style and village landscapes.In terms of places for traditional cultural activities,layouts and cultural characteristics of places for the clan's sacrifice and community's fire,traditional sacrifice activities,and local opera performances were introduced.On this basis,cultural inheritance means for the protective renovation and construction of overall village spaces,village buildings,village landscapes and cultural characteristics were proposed.

Analysis of Settlement Landscapes in Ancient Villages of Anyi County,Jiangxi Province of China

Forms and compositions of landscape elements in traditional spaces such as streets,lanes and plazas in ancient villages of Anyi County were studied.On the basis of investigating and analyzing current situation and problems of these ancient villages,difficulties in the development of ancient villages and improvement of living conditions as well as their contradictions with protection of ancient relics and cultures were explored,and corresponding protection principles and means proposed.It was stressed that the protection of landscape images in ancient villages of Anyi County should follow the principles of "protection first,reasonable development,integrated protection,valuing traditional cultures,encouraging the locals' participation",so as to create ancient villages with sustainable cultural traditions and favorable landscape images.

Study on Tourist Attractiveness of Ancient Villages and Towns Based on Cognition of Visitors

Through survey of visitors,relevant data had been acquired.By aid of factor analysis method,computation model of comprehensive tourist attractiveness of ancient villages and towns was established,which had certain theoretical and practical guidance value to rural tourism resources development and market development.

Protection and Management for Ancient Villages from the Perspective of Human Settlement Environment——A Case Study of Xichong Village,Sikou Town,Wuyuan County

As urbanization continues, traditional villages are confronted by the conflict between protection and development, especially for ancient villages in living envi- ronment. China landscape is so vast, dominated by rural areas. Human settlement environment of ancient villages is so important for studying domestic human settle- ment environment, including ancient structure analysis and eco-resource organization. The research explored Xichong Village, Sikou Town, Wuyuan County and detailed how to improve its environment, providing references for ancient village development in settlement environment.

Rural Tourism Development of the Ancient Village in Guangxi Province—A Case Study of Yangmei Ancient Town of Nanning City

In view of current problems in rural tourism development of the ancient villages in Guangxi Province, and based on viewpoints of some scholars, the paper proposed some opinions and suggestions by a case study of how tourism development in Yangmei Town serving metropolitan construction of Nanning at Beibu Gulf.

RESIDENTS' ATTITUDES TO TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN ANCIENT VILLAGE RESORTS——Case Study of World Cultural Heritage of Xidi and Hong Villages

Tourism development surely has social, economic and environmental impacts on tourist destinations.The study on resorts residents' attitudes can help understand the nature of tourism development and the extent to which it may influence on tourist destinations. By now, researches on residents' perception and attitudes are plenteous in the international circle and achievements are great, yet few are found in developing countries. As a most representative cultural tourist destination, World Cultural Heritage-Xidi and Hong villages in Yi County of Anhui Province, are drawing the attention of both tourists and academic circles. This article, taking Xidi and Hong villages as examples, seeks to analyze ancient village residents' attitudes towards tourism impacts and then tries further to explore the connection between tourism development and residents' attitudes. Both qualitative and quantitative surveys are applied in the exploratory investigation into local residents' attitudes of tourism impacts. Based on abundant face-to-face interviews with the local households, tourism enterprises concerned, local government and tourists from July to August of 2002, we are able to have a better understanding of local residents' attitudes to community life, and perception of tourism impacts on society, economy and environment. By this we can promote domestic study on resorts residents' attitudes, and provide some theoretical grounds for establishing tourism development planning and perfect community participation system at tourist destinations.

Characteristics and Protection Approaches of Human Settlement in Ancient Villages of Jiangxi: A Case Study of Ancient Dongyuan Zengs' Village

Ancient village as a precious historical and cultural heritage of China is hailed as the "eco-museum" of classical folk cultures and "living fossil" of rural history culture. This paper elaborated human settlement characteristics of ancient Dongyuan Zengs' Village, Jinxi County from the perspectives of village environment, history evolution, village layout and village building, and explored the substantial content of village human settlement protection, and proposed specifi c approaches of protecting the human settlement, such as ancient village layout, history and culture, and provided references for protecting human settlement of the ancient villages.

Spatial Characteristics of Ancient Villages in Western Beijing Based on ASTER GDEM Data

There are hundreds of villages in the western mountainous area of Beijing,of which quite a few have a profound history and form the settlement culture in the western part of Beijing.Taking dozens of ancient villages in Mentougou District as the research sample,the village space as the research object,based on ASTER GDEM database and quantitative analysis tools such as Global Mapper and ArcGIS,this study analyzed from the perspectives of altitude,topography,slope direction,and building density distribution,made a quantitative study on the spatial distribution and plane structure of ancient villages so that the law of village space with the characteristics of western Beijing was summarized to supplement and improve the relevant achievements in the research field of ancient villages in western Beijing.

Study on the Inheritance of Landscape Culture in Traditional Ancient Villages of Jiangxi: A Case Study of Ancient Liukeng Village in Lean County, Jiangxi Province

Traditional ancient village is a miniature of history, embodies landscape cultures with rich connotations. On the basis of introducing basic conditions of ancient Liukeng Village, this paper explored landscape cultural elements in the village from such perspectives of natural landscape, architecture, clan system, and Fengshui, and proposed the pertinent approaches of landscape culture inheritance respectively, namely, "integrated protection", "hierarchical protection", "live inheritance" and "rationally accepting and rejecting", by adhering to such principles as keeping natural originality, integrality, humanistic ecology, and dynamic openness.

Mechanism of Tourists’Happiness in Traditional Village Tourism: A Perspective Grounded in Nostalgia and Cultural Attachment

In recent years,traditional villages have emerged as popular tourist destinations due to their distinctive resource value.Typically situated in remote and less developed areas,traditional villages boast primitive natural surroundings and rich historical and cultural heritage.These characteristics offer urban dwellers a temporary escape from the complexities of modern life,allowing them to experience physical and mental rejuvenation,mental relaxation,and overall happiness during their visit.By conducting a review of the existing literature concerning tourists’happiness in traditional villages,this study establishes a framework to understand tourists’happiness in traditional village tourism.Using the Qiangang ancient village in Conghua District,Guangzhou as a case study,the research examines the current state of rural characteristics,the establishment of cultural brands,and the promotion of the active utilization of ancient villages within the context of integrating culture,sports,tourism,and agriculture.Based on this analysis,the author proposes strategies to enhance tourists’happiness,including the preservation and development of rural characteristics,the promotion and preservation of local cultural attributes,and the collaborative advancement of culture,sports,tourism,and agriculture to engage key stakeholders actively.

Research on Renovation Planning of Public Spatial Environmental Landscape in Dinghu Changli Ancient Village of China

By taking renovation planning of public spatial environmental landscape in Dinghu Changli Ancient Village as an example,it is considered that public space of the village is closely related to villagers' daily life,and is the most important place for the inheritance of rural natural beauty,primitive folk customs and long historical culture.It has highlighted it should combine locality and temporal spirit;fully manifest local natural condition,historical tradition and regional feature;analyze advantages and disadvantages of public spatial landscape of Dinghu Changli Ancient Village;and conduct protection and innovation on destroyed spatial landscape by combining with local regional culture and primitive folk customs.It aims to improve public space of Dinghu Changli Ancient Village so that traditional history of the village can be well manifested and inherited.

Planning,Protection and Construction of Ancient Villages in Jiangxi under the Background of New Urbanization: Taking the Water Management System of Mingkou Village in Leping City,Jiangxi Province as an Example

Urbanization is an inevitable trend of economic development. It is an important indicator that reflects the industrialization and modernization of a country. In the long-term urbanization process in China, due to the excessive emphasis on the status of the city and one-sided emphasis on urban development, a serious of urban diseases such as population congestion and environmental damage have been caused. Meanwhile, neglected rural areas have exposed social problems such as aging and hollowing out, making the urban-rural dual structure more prominent. Currently, China s economic and social development has reached a new stage, and the realization of urban-rural integration is a major measure to comprehensively develop the national economy and social undertakings. Vigorously developing the rural areas and revitalizing the countryside has become a national policy. Traditional ancient villages are treasures in the vast rural areas. They should be more protected and developed to eliminate the urban-rural gap, thereby passing down and carrying forward the essence of traditional culture and enhancing China s national confidence and cultural confidence. Focusing on the protection and planning of ancient villages, combined with the current policy background of new urbanization, based on field research on Mingkou Village, Leping City, Jiangxi Province, protective development strategies are put forward for ancient villages and their water management from the perspective of water management in ancient villages to arouse people s attention to the protection of ancient villages.

Nodes and Field of Tourist Origins to Ancient Village——A Case Study of Huangcheng Village in Shanxi Province of China

Based on Hagget's theory of spatial structure,researches on the nodes and field of tourist origins to Huang-cheng Village in Shanxi Province of China have been explored.Nodal hierarchy structure of tourist origins is analyzed with cluster analysis and the gravity model.And field of tourist origins is analyzed with attraction radius index(R)and geography concentration index(G).In the field analysis,R and G of Huangcheng Village are compared with Xidi Village that is a world heritage located in Huangshan City of Anhui Province in China.According to comparison of loca-tions of two areas,influential factors for field area of Huangcheng Village are identified.It is concluded that:1)cluster analysis and gravity model can be complementary methods to each other for nodal hierarchy structure analysis of tour-ist origins;and 2)as far as location is concerned,the weak intensity effect of tourism resources in the tourist region is a major cause for explaining why tourist origins to Huangcheng Village are mainly its neighboring areas.Moreover,it is suggested that the regional effect of tourist resources should be regarded as a component of destination attractiveness when applying gravity model.

Survey on Farming Culture of Ancient Villages and Tourism Development: A Case Study of Hongjiang City in Hunan Province

The origin of human civilization is based on agriculture and settlement,and the ancient villages preserved up to now can be rated as " museum and historical library of rural lifestyle and rural culture",which are of important historical and cultural value. Through the field survey of farming culture resources of ancient villages in Hongjiang City of Hunan Province,this article classifies and evaluates the farming culture and ancient village resources,and sets forth the following recommendations for the development of ancient village tourism: strengthening the product differentiation development; focusing on the cultivation and integration of resources; enhancing the village environmental remediation.

Poverty Occurrence Characteristics of Ancient Towns and Villages in Shanxi Province and Poverty Reduction Countermeasures

Based on the questionnaire of 10 sample ancient towns and villages in Shanxi Province,we analyze the poverty occurrence characteristics of ancient towns and villages in Shanxi Province: the poverty incidence in ancient towns and villages is high,with the slow pace of poverty re- duction; the regional characteristics of poverty is prominent; there are conspicuous differences in income between residents living in old houses and residents not living in old houses; poverty reduction shows vulnerability and instability. Then we put forward countermeasures for poverty reduction of ancient towns and villages in Shanxi Province as follows: first,improving the targeting mechanism of poverty in ancient towns and villages; second,speeding up the development of agricultural industrialization in ancient towns and villages; third,advancing internal " urbanization" of ancient towns and villages and new countryside construction; fourth,strengthening infrastructure building in ancient towns and villages; fifth,providing fair and efficient allocation of resources,and reducing regional differences; sixth,promoting the ability of residents in ancient towns and villages to cope with poverty reduction vulnerability.

Analysis of Colors of Ancient Villages in Jiangsu-Anhui Region Based on Cultural Connotation

Colors of ancient villages in Jiangsu-Anhui Region are of classic beauty and in elegant taste,representing a neutral color system composed of 3 kinds of lightness,namely black,white,and gray.The formation of that feature is closely related with the development of feudal society in China as well as the natural environment and folk culture of Jiangsu-Anhui Region.This paper analyzed the cultural connotation reflected by the colors of the ancient villages in Jiangsu-Anhui Region,explored the causes of its colors in terms of ancient law,regional exchange,and customs in that region,and revealed the historical context and cultural characteristics of the ancient villages south of the Yangtze River,so as to provide a frame of reference for the protection and development of historical and cultural heritage in the ancient villages.

Value Analysis and Protective Planning of Famous Historical and Cultural Villages: A Case Study of Ancient Sangyuan Village in Jishui County, Jiangxi Province

Through analyzing historical value of patriarchal society, village layout, and characteristic folk dwel ings in Ancient Sangyuan Village, Jishui County, Jiangxi Province, this paper proposed the protective planning based on the gist of protecting villagers' benefits, applied classified protection of buildings, enhanced water protection and landscape design, and tried to carry out its intangible cultures via folk custom activities, in order to further develop the value of its historical and cultural resources.

Decorative Art of Doors and Windows in Southern Jiangxi:Taking Bailu Ancient Village as an Example

China,as a country with 56 ethnic groups,has different geographical location,historical development and national customs.Residents in different places have incorporated different cultural characteristics when building local houses.This differentiated cultural and artistic feature is a reflection of the cultural connotation in a specific age and region.However,cultural protection is not always perfect.Many details are missed in this torrent of conservation culture,and door and window decorations are in this position.When collecting data,it is found that there is very little research on door and window decoration in Jiangxi.In this study,taking the doors and windows of Bailu Ancient Village as an example,combined with the cultural history of door and window decoration in southern Jiangxi,the artistic essence and historical value of the decorative patterns of houses were discussed.After searching a large number of documents,a field investigation was conducted in Bailu Ancient Village.Through direct observation of doors and windows and asking local residents about their understanding of door and window decoration,the history,current situation and future of door and window decoration in Bailu Ancient Village were described in detailed and predicted roughly.
