Teaching Reform for HarmonyOS Mobile Application Development

In recent years,the IT industry in China has developed rapidly and made remarkable achievements.However,there is still a big gap between China and foreign countries in the core fields of information technology,such as system hardware and software platform.Currently,foreign countries have gradually raised the restrictions of information technology in China,and even added many domestic enterprises to the restricted list,which has rung the alarm to the information security of the country.Therefore,in order to break through the foreign technology blockade and find a unique way in independent software and hardware platform,it is urgent to carry out the curriculum construction and talent training mechanism on core software and hardware platform.HarmonyOS is a“future-oriented”distributed operating system developed by Huawei.It proposes a distributed concept based on the same system capability and adapts to a variety of terminal forms,and supports a variety of terminal devices such as mobile phones,watches and smart screens.Our course on HarmonyOS aims to increase the theoretical knowledge of the core independent software and hardware platform.In the course,we exploit our teaching reform experience in the course of“Mobile Application Development”,and investigate the teaching mechanism of HarmonyOS to contribute to the rapid development of information technology and ecological construction in China.

Teaching Reform for Mobile Application Development with Industrial Projects,Double Instructors,and Automatic Assessments

Mobile Application Development is a well-known undergraduate specialized course majoring in Computer Science and Software Engineering.Since it is a rapid developing technique and requires extensive project samples to help understand,current teaching mechanism has still limitations in rare real project examples,outdated course contents,and lack of automatic assessment platforms.In order to improve the teaching effects and cultivate students’practical ability,we employ this teaching reform with industrial projects,double instructors,and automatic assessment platform to allow students participating in every course process.We aim to improve students’practical and collaboration ability during conducting the project spontaneously,and cultivate their awareness of self-learning and lifelong learning.Our classroom feedback has demonstrated that this teaching reform is effective on improving students’practical abilities,learning initiatives and comprehensive qualities.

Ideological and Political Education in Harmony OS Application Development Course

The emergence of the Harmony operating system independently developed by Huawei has provided new opportunities and challenges for the development of our country’s information industry.This paper mainly introduces how to combine ideological and political education with mobile devices software development via Harmony OS development courses,aiming to cultivate students’ability to develop applications under the Harmony OS operating system independently or in groups,as well as achieving the patriotism and national mission.

The Intranet of NARI and Its Application Development

Nanjing Automation Research Institute (NARI) is a specialized institute that engages in the researches of automation of electric mper system and its application. The paper introduces the architecture of NARI Intranet as well as the techniques and application development on the Intranet. The first stage network of NARI and the building and the second stage network are both introduced. We lay emphasis on the system softWare used in NAm intranet, network management software developed by ourselves according to the characteristic of NARI network users, technique characteristics of application system on this platform and its running status. The paper also discusses the further development of NARI network application.

A Novel Lifecycle Model for Web-based Application Development in Small and Medium Enterprises

Software engineering＇s lifecycle models havc proven to be very important for traditional software development. However, can these models be applied to the development of Web-based applications as well？ In recent years, Web-based applications have become more and more complicated and a lot of efforts have been placed on introducing new technologies such as J2EE, PhP, and .NET, etc., which have been universally accepted as the development technologies for Web-based applications. However, there is no universally accepted process model for the development of Web-based applications. Moreover, shaping the process model for small medium-sized enterprises （SMEs）, which have limited resources, has been relatively neglected. Based on our previous work, this paper presents an expanded lifecycle process model for the development of Web-based applications in SMEs. It consists of three sets of processes, i.e., requirement processes, development processes, and evolution processes. Particularly, the post-delivery evolution processes are important to SMEs to develop and maintain quality web applications with limited resources and time.

Critical Success Factors for Citizen Development

The purpose of the research was to assess the impact of Citizen Development activities on digital transformation. The research identified eight categories that contribute to the success of Low-code No-code (LCNC) projects: 1) Strategy;2) Infrastructure;3) Technology;4) Processes & Procedures;5) Governance;6) Culture;7) People;8) Goals & Metrics and selected six critical success factors from these categories: 1) Operational Efficiency;2) Time Savings;3) Timeframe to Realize Value;4) Employee Engagement;5) Participation;6) Number of Sponsored Ideas. End users of the digital transformation efforts through Citizen Development were asked to assess the six critical success measures in terms of performance and importance criteria. The research results identified that focus should be applied to improving “Timeframe to Realize Value”, on “Operational Efficiency”, and on “Time Savings” to deliver success.

Development and Application of Modern Building Ceramic Materials

With the increasing demand for sustainable building design,modern building ceramic materials are one of the key factors driving innovation and development in the field of architecture,thanks to their excellent performance and environmentally friendly properties.The aim of this study is to provide an insight into the development and application of building ceramic materials in modern architecture,and to assess the contribution of material innovation to architectural design and sustainability goals by synthesising and analysing recent technological advances and case studies in this field.This study adopts a systematic literature review approach to screen and analyse a large number of academic articles and practical project reports on material innovation in building ceramics.Comparative analyses of different material properties,advances in production processes and the effects of their application in real building projects reveal the potential of building ceramic materials to improve the energy efficiency,extend the service life and enhance the aesthetic design of buildings.The findings show that the environmental and energy issues facing traditional building materials,such as improved thermal efficiency and a reduction in the overall carbon footprint of buildings,can be effectively addressed through the use of new building ceramic materials and technologies.In addition,the innovative use of architectural ceramics provides architects with more design flexibility,enabling them to create architectural works that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.In the concluding section,the paper highlights the importance of continuing to explore technological innovations in building ceramic materials and how these innovations can contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly building industry.Future research should further explore new areas of application for ceramic materials and how interdisciplinary collaboration can accelerate the practical application of these material technologies.

Runtime model based approach to IoT application development

The internet of things （loT） attracts great interest in many application domains concerned with monitoring and ：ontrol of physical phenomena. However, application devel- opment is still one of the main hurdles to a wide adoption of IoT technology. Application development is done at a low level, very close to the operating system and requires pro- grammers to focus on low-level system issues. The under- lying APIs can be very complicated and the amount of data collected can be huge. This can be very hard to deal with as a developer. In this paper, we present a runtime model based approach to IoT application development. First, the manage- ability of sensor devices is abstracted as runtime models that are automatically connected with the corresponding systems. Second, a customized model is constructed according to a personalized application scenario and the synchronization be- tween the customized model and sensor device runtime mod- els is ensured through model transformation. Thus, all the application logic can be carried out by executing programs on the customized model. An experiment on a real-world ap- plication scenario demonstrates the feasibility, effectiveness, and benefits of the new approach to IoT application develop- ment.

Progress in the development and application of plant-based antiviral agents

Plant virus disease is one of the major causes of biological disasters in agriculture worldwide. Given the complexity of transmission media and plant disease infection mechanisms, the prevention and control of plant viral diseases is a great challenge, and an efficient green pesticide is urgently needed. For this reason, when developing candidate drug leads to regulate plant viruses, pesticide experts have focused on characteristics such as low pesticide resistance, eco-friendliness, and novel mechanism. Researchers have also theoretically investigated the molecular targets of viruses infecting agricultural crops. Antiviral screening models have been constructed based on these molecular targets, and the mechanisms of commercial drugs and high-activity compounds have been extensively investigated. After screening, some compounds have been applied in the field and found to have good commercial prospects; these drugs may be used to create new green antiviral pesticides to control plant viruses. This paper reviews the screening, mode of action, development and application of recently used plant-based antiviral agents.

Development and application of Baosteel X80 large diameter UOE longitudinal submerged arc welded pipes

With the increase in energy demand, the demand for oil and gas transmission pipes, particularly high-grade longitudinal submerged arc welded pipes （LSAWs）, have been growing in recent years. The construction of the 2nd West -East natural gas transmission pipeline project shows that the oil and gas pipeline construction has entered a new phase of development with X80 pipes being applied in large scales for the first time in China. This paper briefly introduces the 2nd West-East natural gas transmission pipeline project and its main technical requirements with the focus on the features of API standard 5L X80 grade Ф 1219 mm series of U-ing-O-ing-Expanding （ UOE ） LSAW pipes, which Baosteel developed with the integrated technology for the 2nd West-East natural gas transmission pipeline project. The analysis shows the extra-low carbon content, the high contents of manganese and niobium, the fine microstructure, the high strength,the toughness and the good weldability of X80 pipes meet the requirements of ＂the technical specification of LSAW linepipes for the 2nd West-East natural gas transmission pipeline project in China＂. By the end of June 2010, Baosteel had totally produced 322000 t of Ф 1219 mm X80 UOE steel pipes, which have been successfully used in the 2nd West-East natural gas transmission pipeline project, thus filling the gap of the production of large diameter X80 UOE LSAW pipes in China.

Development and Application of Universal Formability Technology

Using mathematical plasticity theories, universal formability (UF) technology has been developed and applied in the automotive stamping engineering and production. As a formability analysis tool, this technology is the major methodology for the development of stamping expert system (solution provider) for (a) product design and feasibility analysis, (b) material automatic selection using nomograms, (c) draw die design using pre-models, and (d) UF and robustness analysis of die performance in finite element analysis (FEA) environment.

Application of Pore Evolution and Fracture Development Coupled Models in the Prediction of Reservoir "Sweet Spots" in Tight Sandstones

The Chang-63 reservoir in the Huaqing area has widely developed tight sandstone ＂thick sand layers, but not reservoirs characterized by rich in oil＂, and it is thus necessary to further study its oil and gas enrichment law. This study builds porosity and fracture development and evolution models in different deposition environments, through core observation, casting thin section, SEM, porosity and permeability analysis, burial history analysis, and ＂four-property-relationships＂ analysis.

Developmental Application of Roof Greening against the Background of “Sponge City”: A Case Study of Ningbo City

In view of the problems of architectural eco-civilization in Ningbo City against the background of "sponge city", this paper proposed that development of roof greening in the city met the development concepts of sponge city, summarized six basic countermeasures and four cooperation mechanisms for the developmental application of roof greening in Ningbo City by analyzing practical experience of roof greening construction in foreign countries.
