Science and reflections: With some thoughts to young applied scientists and engineers

I provide some science and reflections from my experiences working in geophysics,along with connections to computational and data sciences,including recent developments in machine learning.I highlight several individuals and groups who have influenced me,both through direct collaborations as well as from ideas and insights that I have learned from.While my reflections are rooted in geophysics,they should also be relevant to other computational scientific and engineering fields.I also provide some thoughts for young,applied scientists and engineers.

Exploration and Practice of"Double Line and Six Coordination"Teaching Method in the Construction of New Agricultural Science Specialty

Aiming at the main problems existing in the teaching process of new agricultural science,systematic solutions are put forward:(1)creating an agriculture related professional group serving the coordinated development of large-scale operation subjects and small farmers,and fully connecting the coordinated development needs of large-scale operation subjects and small farmers;(2)carrying out all-round agricultural related professional teaching reform,so as to cultivate high-quality talents for the organic connection between small farmers and modern agricultural development;(3)based on agriculture related professional resources,taking multiple measures to improve the social service development ability of secondary vocational schools.

On the Unique Development Path of Universities of Applied Sciences

The transition of universities from academy-oriented to application-oriented has become a paramount mission for the management. And the revelation of the path for the unique development lies in the six aspects below: locating specific talents-cultivating goals, innovating educational plans, developing distinctive teaching resources, enhancing instructions for students' vocation and employment, optimizing teaching equipment and increasing publicity.

新工科改革的核心之一体现为对人才培养模式探索。基于人才培养模式的三要素——人才培养目标、人才培养过程以及人才培养质量评价,深入探讨了新工科视域下应用型高校人才培养模式构建的内涵。具体为,人才培养目标指向现场工程师,规格上强调应用型、复合型和创新型;人才培养过程中,专业设置强调跨学科、课程建设呈现全方位、师资队伍建设注重结构化、产教融合体现系统化;人才培养质量评价上,要将全过程质量监控和对学生学习结果的评价相结合。

德国应用技术大学跨专业组织发展:形式、特征与经验启示

德国应用技术大学作为德国高教体系的重要组成部分,强调以问题和实践为导向,注重人才培养和科学研究、社会服务等功能的全面发展。伴随德国应用技术大学的历史发展与功能拓展,德国应用技术大学跨专业组织应运而生。当前,德国应用技术大学跨专业组织表现为依附于国家研究中心、自建独立研究所或研究组及创新中心或协同创新平台等形式,呈现出在政策扶持、制度保障、教师聘任及课程设置等方面的共性特征。借鉴德国应用技术大学跨专业组织的成功经验,我国高职院校跨专业组织发展应增加政策扶持,建立配套制度保障体系;完善机构设置,构建科学的组织保障机制;谋划人事变革,建立教师参与的激励机制;加快课程改革,形成教研双向互促机制。

工业技术文化与德国应用科学大学:定位、专业与师资

工业技术文化伴随工业生产而形成与发展,是关于工业生产与技术的价值信念体系,它是工业社会的主导文化,也是以职业技术类教育为代表的现代教育的价值基础。德国的工业技术文化在产生渊源和作用方式上都具有特异性,它为德国的校企合作提供了文化上的共通性和亲缘性,为相关制度的高效运行提供了保障和前提。笔谈对德国技术类教育的几个剖面分别进行分析,结合相关的案例,从宏观或中观视角,观察工业技术文化如何在其中发生作用,以及在工业技术文化视角下,教育调控、双元制等如何得以协调运转。

科教融合理念下地方高校管理科学与工程专业人才培养模式探究

在科教融合战略下,管理科学与工程专业人才培养体系建设成为地方高校提升学科和人才竞争力的重要途径。该文首先综述科教融合战略实施的现实背景和我国管理科学与工程专业人才培养模式的探索现状。然后,以管理科学与工程专业研究生为对象,分析地方高校高学历人才培养存在的主要问题,并给出相应的对策。这也为地方高校探索出符合自身特色发展的管理科学与工程专业人才培养模式提供一定借鉴。
