Using the extended generalized Riccati equation mapping method, we find analytical traveling wave solutions of the considered BHT equation. All the travelling wave solutions obtained have been used to explicitly investigate the effect of linear and quadratic coefficients of temperature dependence on temperature distribution in tissues. We found that the parameter of the nonlinear superposition formula for Riccati can be used to control the temperature of living tissues. Our results prove that the extended generalized Riccati equation mapping method is a powerful tool for investigating thermal traveling-wave distribution in biological tissues.展开更多

This study demonstrates the DRAGEN Bio-IT Processor as a potential candidate to remove the “Big Data Bottleneck”. DRAGENTM accomplished the variant calling, for ~40× coverage WGS data in as low as ~30 minutes using a single command, achieving the over 50-fold data analysis speed while maintaining the similar or better variant calling accuracy than the standard GATK Best Practices workflow. This systematic comparison provides the faster and efficient NGS data analysis alternative to NGS-based healthcare industries and research institutes to meet the requirement for precision medicine based healthcare.展开更多

Using an extended mapping method with symbolic computation, we obtain the exact analytical thermal traveling wave solution, which describes the non-uniform temperature distribution inside the bodies. The found exact solution is used to investigate the temperature distribution in the tissues. It is found that the surrounding medium with higher temperature does not necessarily imply that the tissue will quickly (after a short duration of heating process) reach the desired temperature. It is also found that increased perfusion causes a decline in local temperature.展开更多

Beside the fact they are important indicator for the protection of water quality, the studies related to them are very scarce. Water entomofauna consists of a whole species belonging to different orders and classes of insects. Odonata (dragonflies) are the most famous and have impressive images. Odonata, Hemiptera and Coloptera are indicators of aquatic environments. The diversity of Aquatic Insect in Shkodra's Lake Region shows the purity level of Shkodra Lake. Our conclusion is that no matter how small the pollution of Shkodra Lake is, it should be continuously monitored.展开更多

Visible and near infrared ASTER data from April, August, and September 2012 were used. The water depth at which ASTER can detect submersed aquatic macrophytes using in situ spectral reflectance of aquatic macrophytes and a bio-optical model was also examined. As a result, when the threshold value of a normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) was set to 0, only aquatic macrophytes up to a depth of approximately 10 cm could be detected. The growth area of aquatic macrophytes detected by NDVI from ASTER data was in relatively good agreement with the growth area as observed by aerial photography.展开更多

Then through the space dimension reduction projections, the Gell-Mann standard model was obtained as well as a quantum to Classical connection was made via introducing Bose distribution to the monopoles to obtain the Perelman entropy and Ricci Flow mappings. This provided us a picture to the creation of Astronomical objects, from galaxies to stars and planets. This method of splitting the monopole energy into ranges is extended to show that below the basic rest mass range of the electron and Quark, it still can be applied to explaining for the creation of the chemical elements periodic table. But perhaps the most interesting is in the lowest hundreds of Hz energy range, obtained from yet another 3 fold space symmetry breaking, into 2D × 1D, producing bio nitrogenous bases composed of 3 Carbon 12 in hexagon structures, due to preservation of the 1D monopole standing waves of this low frequencies. From that by imposing gauge changes the monopole states into DNA spectra. Since such spectra states retain the DLRO, it induces formation of charge carriers periodicity in a spherical bio cell.. It was then argued that due to cell’s surface proteins, the structure must contain partial filled VB, with “p” state hole density, and empty CB, separated from VB by a positive band gap. Such band structures resemble known HTC Cuprate ceramics. Since the HTC goes through a Superconductivity transition via the simultaneous bose exciton condensation, providing a Coulomb pressure, which reduces the band gap substantially, and induces the ODLRO transition of the hole density. The same obviously applies to the bio cells. Because of the near continuous exciton levels generated, a matching to the DNA spectra then can always occur by selective choices of proteins on the cell surface. Judging from a numerical study, we did years ago on YBCO, with doping. We found with a large enough VB hole density, the exciton induced superconducting gap can easily lead to Tc in the room temperature range. In fact by EMF excitation can increase the exciton pressure and trigger the ODLRO transition Tc upward. In fact, numerical results then suggest there do exist coherent EMF spectra from three key elements: Water, Carbon and Hydrogen, together with Oxygen, as studied over the years by numerous people, starting from Schrödinger to most recently Geesink.展开更多

India has witnessed its legacy from the time of Charaka & Susruta for TKS of medicinal plants. The objective of the study is to carry out inter-disciplinary work by integrating ethno-medicinal findings with Geographical Information System (GIS) tools to develop spatio-temporal maps covering antimalarial plants prevalent in three rural districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh (UP), India. Two sources Flora Gorakhpurensis & Flora of Upper Gangetic Plains have been considered to evaluate all possible antimalarials prevalent in the study region and are cross validated with research papers and journals. GPS coordinates were recorded for marked locations and under GIS environment maps of antimalarials are generated to highlight geographical distribution of such plants. Further, these are analysed with respect to various natural plant habitats.?48 plants belonging to 25 families were found and its geographical distribution is illustrated through series of GIS maps. The developed map highlights the geographical location of antimalarial plants and facilitates easy access of plant’s natural habitat. It is believed that the work would help researchers to find out the novel antimalarials towards open source drug discovery projects.展开更多
