The integration of environmental,social,and governance(ESG)principles has become a pivotal factor in shaping sustainable and responsible corporate practices.The present study investigates the integration of ESG principles within corporate governance models in Asia-Pacific countries,focusing on socialization.By examining the governance culture,legal frameworks,and corporate practices in these representative countries,the paper delineates a strategic framework for embedding social governance into corporate strategies.The study introduces a Cultural,Economic,Legal,and Political(CELP)framework to assess corporate social governance,investigating the correlation between business practices and social changes.Through a systematic literature review and detailed thematic analysis,this paper aims to offer actionable insights and recommendations,guiding corporations in their transition towards more sustainable and socially responsible business practices.

The international agenda on business and human rights has entered a new era when the united Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights was endorsed in 2011 Meanwhile, as china is growing to become one of the biggest economies in the world, chinese businesses are exerting greater impacts on human rights in and outside china The 'Pillar II' policy shift of the chinese government regarding human rights refers to the translation of human rights from norms of public law to value principles for the private sector including businesses, and such a policy shift has been both a result of chinese businesses dealing with 'imported human rights challenges' in china, and one of the reasons for chinese businesses tackling 'exported human rights challenges' in overseas investment and trade Through a series of policy changes, the chinese government has transformed international human rights principles and norms into a value system and code of conduct meant for chinese businesses to respect and observe, which can greatly enhance the awareness and capacity of chinese businesses in fulfilling the irresponsibility to respect human rights in and outside china on the other hand, the challenges and opportunities from different dimensions are faced by the chinese government and businesses in business and human rights Therefore besides effectively fulfilling its duty to protect human rights, the chinese government needs to optimize and strengthen its 'Pillar II' policies, so as to push and support chinese businesses in knowing and showing their responsibility to respect human rights at both perception and practice levels.

Statewide GNSS-RTN Systems: Current Practices

The applications of geospatial technologies and positioning data embrace every sphere of modern-day science and industry. With technological advancement, the demands for highly accurate positioning services in real-time led to the development of the Global Navigation Satellite System—Real-Time Network (GNSS-RTN). While there is numerous published information on the technical aspects of the GNSS-RTN technology, information on the best practices or guidelines in building, operating, and managing the GNSS-RTN networks is lacking in practice. To better understand the current practice in establishing and operating the GNSS-RTN systems, an online questionnaire survey was sent to the GNSS-RTN system owners/operators across the U.S. Additionally, a thorough review of available literature on business models and interviews with representatives of two major manufacturers/vendors of GNSS-RTN products and services were conducted. Study results revealed a great deal of inconsistency in current practices among states in the way the GNSS-RTN systems are built, operated, and managed. Aspects of the diversity in state practices involved the business models for the GNSS-RTN systems besides the technical attributes of the network and system products. The information gathered in this study is important in helping state agencies make informed decisions as they build, expand or manage their own GNSS-RTN systems.

On How to Improve Spoken English Teaching on Business of Liuzhou City Vocational College

Nowadays, China's foreign trade can not be compared with what it was before. As the foreign trade business has developed rapidly, a great deal of qualified talents on economy and trades are needed. These kinds of talents are supposed to master academic knowledge of economy and trade as well as the related business knowledge. Moreover, they should have excellent competences of expressing themselves orally in foreign language. English is the popular language that is used in international communication. All English majors in Liuzhou City Vocational College (LCVC) are majoring in Business English. According to some research, one of the weakest abilities of business major is spoken English. Hence, it becomes an important task for teachers to enhance students' spoken English competence on business. This article is talking about this teaching condition and to make some analyzes and put forward some reform suggestions based on the investigation.

Research on the Reform of Pronunciation Teaching in Business English Major

Traditionally, English pronunciation teaching in universities in China is always focused on the theoretical teaching in classroom, which cannot meet the requirements of society. At the same time, the new national standard of business English major puts forward higher demands of the educational objectives of the course. In order to adapt to the reform of business English major, university teachers of English pronunciation course should be active in promoting the curriculum reform. This paper proposes to make suggestions to change the traditional theory teaching of classroom and to improve the students＇ practical skills by training.

Empirical Research on the Relationship between Best Corporation Practices and Environmental Performance

Is the adoption of best practice in business associated with improved environmental performance？ And what methods can he used to assess and compare the environmental practices and performance of different companies？ In this paper, through case anatysis, the business environmental practices and performance of five companies in the manufacturing sector were examined and scored. Assessing these companies practices and performance according to “The best practice model” designed by Australian Manufacturing Council （AMC. 1994）. The finding shows that there is strong correlation between environmental practices and performance of companies （r=0.85, p〈0.05）, and indicates that corporate paying attention to environmental issue will improve its all performances in business.

高职院校工程测量技术专业学生创新创业能力现状调研

通过问卷调查法深入了解高职院校工程测量技术专业学生的创新创业能力现状。将问卷调查分为高职院校和学生两部分,其中针对高职院校的调查以网络问卷为主,对学生的调查采取线上线下相结合的方式。调查结果显示,学生在创新创业资金方面需要高职院校提供更多支持。学生的创新创业意愿较弱,大多数学生参加创新创业活动的次数为1~3次,参与度相对较低,且活动形式较为单一。高职院校需积极探索创新创业教育的新模式,注重创新创业实践教学环节的设置,为学生搭建更多的创新创业平台。
