Co-free Li-rich Mn-based layered oxides are promising candidates for next-generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their high specific capacity,high voltage,low cost.However,their commercialization is hindered by ...Co-free Li-rich Mn-based layered oxides are promising candidates for next-generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their high specific capacity,high voltage,low cost.However,their commercialization is hindered by limited cycle life and poor rate performance.Herein,an in-situ simple and low-cost strategy with a nanoscale double-layer architecture of lithium polyphosphate(LiPP)and spinel phase covered on top of the bulk layered phase,is developed for Li_(1.2)Mn_(0.6)Ni_(0.2)O_(2)(LMNO)using Li^(+)-conductor LiPP(denoted as LMNO@S-LiPP).With such a double-layer covered architecture,the half-cell of LMNO@S-LiPP delivers an extremely high capacity of 202.5 mAh·g^(−1)at 1 A·g^(−1)and retains 85.3%of the initial capacity after 300 cycles,so far,the best highrate electrochemical performance of all the previously reported LMNOs.The energy density of the full-cell assembled with commercial graphite reaches 620.9 Wh·kg^(−1)(based on total weight of active materials in cathode and anode).Mechanism studies indicate that the superior electrochemical performance of LMNO@S-LiPP is originated from such a nanoscale double-layer covered architecture,which accelerates Li-ion diffusion,restrains oxygen release,inhibits interfacial side reactions,suppresses structural degradation during cycling.Moreover,this strategy is applicable for other high-energy-density cathodes,such as LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2),Li_(1.2)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)Mn_(0.54)O_(2),LiCoO_(2).Hence,this work presents a simple,cost-effective,scalable strategy for the development of high-performance cathode materials.展开更多

Thus, the bathroom can be regarded as the last domain of privacy in today's housing, and in a number of new dwellings this quality is exploited in new ways. This paper recognizes software architecture practice as a discipline pervading all phases of software development and also presents an enhanced model for software engineering process which provides an avenue for speedy, efficient and timely delivery of software products to their intended users. Ontologies have emerged as an important tool in the Enterprise architecture discipline to provide the theoretical foundations for designing and representing the enterprise as a whole or a specific area or domain, in a...Ontologies have emerged as an important tool in the Enterprise architecture discipline to provide the theoretical foundations for designing and representing the enterprise as a whole or a specific area or domain, in a scientific fashion. This paper examines the domain of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of the Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter involving multiple enterprises, and represents it through an ontology using the OWL Language and Protégé tool. The resulting ontology gives a formal and unambiguous model/representation of the MRO domain that can be used by multiple parties to arrive at a common shared conceptualization of the MRO domain. The ontology is designed to be conformant to ISO 13030 or the Product Life Cycle Support Standard (PLCS) standard, hence representing the state of being as per this standard especially at the interfaces between enterprises while incorporating existing reality to the greatest possible extent within the enterprises. As a result the ontology can be used to design Information Systems (IS) and their interfaces in all enterprises engaged in MRO to alleviate some of the issues present in the MRO area and to support business intelligence efforts.展开更多

In line with the policy, the government in the year 2005 has raised the technical life of building for low-cost multistoried rental housing from 30 years to 50 years. This study is conducted to assess variables that affect the technical life of architectural components, using Delphi study method involving stakeholders who have participated in the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of low-cost multistoried rental housing in Jakarta. On this basis, a sample of 100 employees working in Guilan Education Office was used ...The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between life orientation and cognitive emotion regulation with job stress. On this basis, a sample of 100 employees working in Guilan Education Office was used and research hypotheses were examined by job stress, life orientation and cognitive emotion regulation questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that job stress has a significant relationship with life orientation (-0.32), self-blame (0.25), rumination (-0.36), positive refocusing (0.25), positive refocusing on program (-0.21), positive reappraisal (-0.28), catastrophizing (-0.39) and other blames (-0.25). Furthermore, life orientation and cognitive regulation could explain 22% variances in respondents’ job stress. This finding indicates that more positive life orientation and subsequent decrease of emotion-regulation-related disorders will lead to less job stress.展开更多

Contemporary China, the largest construction site in the world, is the centre of production of architectural 'vessels' that are compacted with technical and scientific knowledge. Nevertheless, traditional wisdom and...Contemporary China, the largest construction site in the world, is the centre of production of architectural 'vessels' that are compacted with technical and scientific knowledge. Nevertheless, traditional wisdom and personal cultivation is often neglected in this process of creating architecture. This paper makes a connection between the Chinese ideogram of 道 (dao = way), with the Greek term of φρovησιc (phronesis = practical wisdom), in the context of architecture. We argue that both terms bring forth the importance of ethics and practical wisdom in the making of architecture, as a process of cultivation. This argument is discussed through two case studies: a historical Chinese garden (Sima Guang's 'Garden of Solitary Enjoyment'), as a manifestation of Dao, and an educational situation from a contemporary architectural design studio in a school of architecture, as a manifestation of phronesis. Both these diverse examples offer a possibility to see architecture as the creation of 'vessels for life' where 'vessel' and 'life' are inseparable.展开更多
