Training talents for the society is the responsibility of colleges and universities.The society needs applied and innovative art design majors.In order to cultivate talents needed by society and keep up with the development plan of the Ministry of Education,higher vocational colleges need to reform.This paper adopts the method of theoretical analysis to elaborate from the four aspects of focusing equally on science and education,promote learning by competition;integrating industry and education,nurturing talents together;keeping the mission in mind while serving students;and finding the right positioning,giving full play to the advantages.

Research on the Application of Flipped Classroom in Professional English Teaching for Higher Vocational Art Students

The traditional specialized English teaching mode and method for higher vocational art students are unitary, so students' learning enthusiasm is not high and their learning efficiency is low. According to the characteristics of art students in higher vocational colleges, this paper analyzes the teaching difficulties in the traditional English classroom and studies the application of the flipped classroom teaching model in the teaching of specialized English.The teacher adopts the method of making students' learning guide before class to improve the self-study efficiency of the students. Teachers use rich classroom forms and multiple evaluation criteria to improve their interest in learning English. The application of the research results is important for improving the professional English ability and the ability of job adaptation for higher vocational art students.

A Study on the Difference of Information Acquisition Ability among Students in Higher Vocational Colleges

The explosive growth of all kinds of online information brought by mobile Internet has brought challenges to the information acquisition ability of students in higher education institutions. In order to explore the differences, influencing factors and ways to improve the information acquisition of college students in higher education institutions, 306 questionnaires from students in five higher vocational colleges were collected and analyzed. It was found that there was no significant difference in the information acquisition ability of students by gender. However, the majors of higher vocational college students have a significant impact on their information acquisition ability. It was suggested to taking comprehensive measures to improve the information acquisition ability of students in higher vocational colleges according to their characteristics.

Analysis on the Development Trend of the Art Education in Higher Vocational Colleges

Study on Learning Motivation of Higher Vocational Colleges Students in Tianjin

Learning motivation occupies an important position in non-intelligence factors,as it plays a pivotal role in university students' successful completion of their studies and strengthening of professional knowledge base.However,the present university students generally lack motivation in higher education.This research used questionnaire method,which is a questionnaire random sample in 500 students of learning motivation from four comprehensive higher vocational colleges of Tianjin,and explores the status quo of learning motivation in higher vocational students of Tianjin.The result shows:The learning motivation level of higher vocational colleges students is above middle level;Male on the learning motivation total level is significantly higher than female;Rural students in the learning motivation on the aggregate level is significantly higher than that of urban students;Look from the different grades,sophomore students have lowest level of learning motivation;Freshmen learning motivation is at highest level.

The Dilemma and Innovative Countermeasure of Student Archives Management in Higher Vocational Colleges

Student archives in higher vocational colleges are the true records of students' learning and living conditions during their schooling,and are an important part of personnel archives in Higher Vocational colleges. Faced with the fierce competition in the socialenvironment, how can the management of students' archives in Higher Vocational Colleges adapt to the development of society is aproblem in Higher Vocational colleges. Therefore, the author conducts research and analysis on the predicament and innovativecountermeasures of student file management in higher vocational colleges. The results show that the student's archives level can beimproved by improving the archives awareness of the whole society, enriching the archives content, building the student filemanagement platform and developing the archives information resources, and better serving the graduates' employment work.

First Exploration on The Reform of Experimental Examination of Physiology in Higher Vocational College Students

Objective：The purpose of this paper is to explore the application effect of diversified assessment mode in physiology experimental examination of higher vocational college students.Method：We selected 173 higher vocational college students as the research group,in the experimental assessment,adopted diversi？ ed assessment model;and selected 192 higher vocational college students as the control group,adopted the traditional assessment method.The pathological examination scores of the two groups were compared,and the research group was investigated by questionnaire.Result：The physiological end term test scores （t=1.973,p〈0.05） and experimental operation assessment scores of the research group were higher than those of the control group （t=1.624,p〈0.05）.The diversified assessment model helps to improve the learning initiative,improve learning interest,foster collaboration and communication ability,reduce learning pressure and reduce anxiety before examination.Conclusion：The diversified assessment model can highlight the cultivation of professional skills and innovation ability,enable students reserve the necessary knowledge through inquiry and cooperative learning,and conducive to sustainable development of students.B

A survey of Higher Vocational Students' upward Comparative Parenting

This study is aim at investigate the current situation of higher vocational students receiving upward comparative parenting and the differences in upward comparative parenting among higher vocational college students with different demographic variables.By using the self-designed upward comparative parenting questionnaire to survey 1075 higher vocational college students,the results show that:In general,higher vocational college students receive the highest frequency of upward Comparative Parenting(2.95±1.57)on the level of learning diligence,and the frequency of upward Comparative Parenting(2.62±1.27)for male higher vocational students is higher than that for female students(2.39±1.17).The subjects from urban areas(2.56±1.29)were significantly higher than those from rural areas(2.39±1.14).Conclusion:upward comparat ive parenting is a common phenomenon among higher vocational college students in China.

Practical Strategies to Improve the Quality of Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges in the New Era

In this paper,practical strategies are proposed to improve the quality of teachers in higher vocational colleges.Research and analyses have shown that the key to improving the quality of teachers in higher vocational colleges lies in the improvement of professionalism,subject knowledge,and teaching ability.Thus,the following practical strategies are proposed:strengthen teachers’moral development,establish a teacher training system,focus on curriculum construction and teaching method innovation,and strengthen the teaching quality monitoring and evaluation mechanism.These measures can effectively improve the quality of teachers in higher vocational colleges and promote the development of higher vocational education.

Attempt to improve Vocabulary Teaching for Higher Vocational College Students

Vocabulary is the building material of language,and vocabulary study is therefore one of the most important aspects in any language learning.It is a key point to improve English learning through paying more attention to vocabulary acquisition.However,vocabulary teaching is one aspect of language teaching that has not been given enough attention in China.Therefore,some issues in vocabulary teaching and learning in higher vocational colleges are being addressed at present,which are worthy of our further consideration.

An Investigation of Avoidance of Relative Clauses in the English Writings of High Vocational College Students

This study investigates the avoidance of relative clauses by high vocational college students and also explores the differences in the avoidance of the RCs by high-level students and low-level students in their English writings. The data used in this study have been collected from English writing tasks and analyzed by Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS17.0). The major findings of this study are stated as follows: 1) There are significant differences in the production of the relative clauses in their English writings by Chinese higher vocational college students and English native speakers. Avoidance of relative clauses exists in the English writings of higher vocational college students. 2) High-level Chinese higher vocational college students display less of the avoidance phenomenon in their English writings than low-level students.

Studio Teaching Mode of Art Design Subject of Vocational College: A Case Study of “Art Workshop” Teaching Mode of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Industry Technology

Higher vocational education is an important component of higher education in China. How to explore teaching characteristics and advantages of higher vocational education, and distinguish and complement teaching direction of traditional "academic" university is an urgent task of higher vocational college. Studio teaching construction has been accepted by more and more higher vocational colleges. However, there is not relatively mature running mode and teaching experience for the new thing. School of Arts and Design, Nanjing Vocational Institute of Industry Technology actively carries out the exploration and construction of "art workshop" teaching mode in recent years, which obtains better echo and recognition of society, teachers and students. It plays a leading role in research and exploration of studio teaching mode in higher vocational college, and could be taken as a typical case for analysis and summary.

The Relation ship between Foreign Language Anxiety and PRETCO-B Scores of Higher Vocational College Students

Higher vocational college students are suffering foreign language anxiety in their English learning. Actually, negative cor-relation exists between foreign language anxiety and PRETCO-B scores. Foreign language anxiety debilitates English learning.It ishoped that the finding will be of value to the English teaching and learning in higher vocational colleges.

Chinese Vocational Students' Motivational Factors Pertaining to Gender within College English Curricula: a Study within a Southwestern Chinese Context

Predominant research within Chinese academic contexts focusing on students’ L2 motivational factors remain rooted inlarge-scale research that does not draw a distinction between students from different regional groups within Chinese higher educa-tion. This research seeks to focus specifically on a less-studied group within the Chinese College English curriculum: vocationalstudents—especially vocational students studying within an educational institution in the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing.This small-scale survey(n = 129) was conducted in College English classes to determine if the motivational factors of vocationalstudents remained aligned or distinct from those of their peers across Chinese higher education. Subsequent analysis from the sur-vey findings have shown that while gender differences remain manifested and are aligned with established trends and assumptionspertaining to L2 motivational factors within this context, more research is required to delve into the reasons and rationale behindthe choices made by vocational students in southwestern China within this particular survey instrument.

高职生负面评价恐惧对课内英语表达意愿的影响:基于自尊的中介作用

对湖南省长沙市3所高职院校的272名在校学生进行问卷调查,并对结果进行分析,旨在探讨高职生负面评价恐惧、自尊与课内英语表达意愿三者之间的关系。研究发现:(1)负面评价恐惧显著负向影响自尊和课内表达意愿;(2)自尊显著正向影响课内表达意愿;(3)自尊中介了负面评价恐惧与课内表达意愿的关系。
