The average atomic state of the hcp Ti3Al compound consisting of ψ4^Ti and ψ0^Al atoms is 0.75[Ar] (3dn)^0.573 (3dc)^2.1685 (4sc)^0.972 (4sf)^0.3093 + 0.25[Ne] (3sc)^1.32 (3pc)^1.19 (3sf + 3pf)^0.49. The brittleness of the ordered hcp Ti3Al compound has been discussed considering the fundamental factors, which are atomic states, bond networks, potential energy wave planes, and the ratio xTi/xAl. The existence of more pc and more dc directional electrons in the hcp Ti3Al compound lead to considerable brittleness; From bond networks and potential energy wave planes, the hcp Ti3Al compound has poorer ductility than the pure hcp Ti metal and the pure fcc Al metal; The Al-rich hcp Ti3Al ordered type alloys have poorer ductility than the Ti-rich hcp Ti3Al ordered type alloys. 展开更多

From the viewpoint of quantum information, this paper studies preparation and control of atomic optimal entropy squeezing states (AOESS) for a moving two-level atom under control of the two-mode squeezing vacuum fields. Necessary conditions of preparation of the AOESS are analysed, and numerical verification of the AOESS is finished. It shows that the AOESS can be prepared by controlling the time of the atom interaction with the field, cutting the entanglement between the atom and field, and adjusting squeezing factor of the field. An atomic optimal entropy squeezing sudden generation in different components can alternately be realized by controlling the field-mode structure parameter. 展开更多

For nonlinear interactions with different forms of intensity-dependent coupling, entanglement transfer from the correlated two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states (SCS) to the initially separable and mixed atoms is investigated. It is found that suitable intensity-dependent coupling can enhance the entanglement transfer and make the atomic entanglement evolve periodically especially for the initially mixed atomic states. For SCS, the entanglement between the two modes is strengthened with the increase of the photon number difference (PND) between the two modes of the fields. When PND is odd, the entanglement between the atoms is less than that when PND is even. 展开更多
