A principle of fuzzy control for tracked vehicles is proposed to make its automatic transmission system be able to adapt complex running conditions, and a model of its power train is established to be used in simulation. Based on the fuzzy control method, a fuzzy shift control system composed of a basic shift strategy and a fuzzy modification module is developed to improve the dynamic characteristics and cross-country maneuverability. Simulation results show that the fuzzy shift strategy can improve the shift quality under manifold driving conditions and avoid cycled shift effectively.Therefore, the proposed fuzzy shift strategies are proved to be feasible and practicable. 展开更多

From the viewpoint of energy saving and improving transmission efficiency, the ZL50E wheel loader is taken as the study object. And the system model is analyzed based on the transmission system of the construction vehicle. A new four-parameter shift schedule is presented, which can keep the torque converter working in the high efficiency area. The control algorithm based on the Elman recursive neural network is applied, and four-parameter control system is developed which is based on industrial computer. The system is used to collect data accurately and control 4D180 power-shift gearbox of ZL50E wheel loader shift timely. An experiment is done on automatic transmission test-bed, and the result indicates that the control system could reliably and safely work and improve the efficiency of hydraulic torque converter. Four-parameter shift strategy that takes into account the power consuming of the working pump has important operating significance and reflects the actual working status of construction vehicle. 展开更多

For the purpose of engineering development for a new 8-step speed automatic transmission,a simplified dynamic model for this gearbox was established and key parameters which affected the shift quality were analyzed.Aiming at four different shift types,the ideal characteristics of shift clutch and engine control were set up.By using torque estimation method,PI slip control algorithm and engine coordinated control principle,the control model and transmission controller were well developed for three shift phases which included rapid-fill phase,torque phase and inertia phase.The testing environment on the rig and prototype vehicle level was built and the testing results obtained in ultimate condition could verify the accuracy and feasibility of this shift control strategy.The peak jerk during shift process was controlled within ±2 g/s where the smooth gearshift was obtained.The development proposal and algorithm have a high value for engineering application. 展开更多

In parallel hybrid electrical vehicle (PHEV) equipped with automatic mechanical transmission (AMT), the driving smoothness and the clutch abrasion are the primary considerations for powertrain control during gearshift and clutch operation. To improve these performance indexes of PHEV, a coordinated control system is proposed through the analyzing of HEV powertrain dynamic characteristics. Using the method of minimum principle, the input torque of transmission is optimized to improve the driving smoothness of vehicle. Using the methods of fuzzy logic and fuzzy-PID, the engaging speed of clutch and the throttle opening of engine are manipulated to ensure the smoothness of clutch engagement and reduce the abrasion of clutch friction plates. The motor provides the difference between the required input torque of transmission and the torque transmitted through clutch plates. Results of simulation and experiments show that the proposed control strategy performs better than the contrastive control system, the smoothness of driving and the abrasion of clutch can be improved simultaneously. 展开更多

It’s a mature technol... Electric vehicles use electric motors, which turn electrical energy into mechanical energy. As electric motors are conventionally used in all the industry, it is an established development site. It’s a mature technology with ideal power and torque curves for vehicular operation. Conventional vehicles use oil and gas as fuel or energy storage. Although they also have an excellent economic impact, the continuous use of oil and gas threatened the world’s reservation of total oil and gas. Also, they emit carbon dioxide and some toxic ingredients through the vehicle’s tailpipe, which causes the greenhouse effect and seriously impacts the environment. So, as an alternative, electric car refers to a green technology of decarbonization with zero emission of greenhouse gases through the tailpipe. So, they can remove the problem of greenhouse gas emissions and solve the world’s remaining non-renewable energy storage problem. Pure electric vehicles (PEV) can be applied in all spheres, but their special implementation can only be seen in downhole operations. They are used for low noise and less pollution in the downhole process. In this study, the basic structure of the pure electric command vehicle is studied, the main components of the command vehicle power system, namely the selection of the drive motor and the power battery, are analyzed, and the main parameters of the drive motor and the power battery are designed and calculated. The checking calculation results show that the power and transmission system developed in this paper meets the design requirements, and the design scheme is feasible and reasonable. 展开更多

A blend braking system of heavy vehicle was proposed.The main control part of the system is the electro hydraulic proportional servo valve.A nonlinear model of brake cylinder controlled by the valve was deduced through the analysis of its control property and system feature.The transfer function of the system was also proposed,and the hydraulic inherent frequency and the PID closed-loop system feature were calculated.The simulated result is consistent with those tested in the bench and on the site with 50 t heavy vehicle.The experimental result shows that the control method has quick response and high precision. 展开更多

Therefore, its control is one of the key technologies of electric vehicles. Based on the discussion about the demands to the engine-generator set in tracked vehicles, the detailed function of engine-generator and the control strategy are determined. The hardware and software of the control system are also developed and tested in a prototype vehicle. A high-speed motor in a drive system causes several challenges to the reliability of the mechanical parts of electric vehicles and leads to issues with noise,vibration and harshness(NVH).Thus,a two-speed powershift transmission is considered an effective way to improve the dynamic,economic and comfort performance of electric vehicles.A newly designed dual-pump hydraulic control system for a two-speed powershift transmission with two wet clutches is presented,in which the mechani-cal oil pump is linearly affected by the vehicle speed and the electric oil pump is controllable.By integrating the dynamic model of the hydraulic system into one of the powertrains with a two-speed transmission,a co-simulation dynamic model is proposed.To satisfy the flow and pressure demand of the hydraulic system,a dual-pump control strategy is presented,in which the electric oil pump is controlled by the mechanical oil pump following the minimum energy consumption principle.The World Light Vehicle Test Procedure(WLTP)cycle simulation results show that the energy consumption of the proposed hydraulic system can be reduced by 58.2%compared to the previous single-pump system developed by the authors with a constant main-line pressure control strategy.On the basis,the best configuration of the two pumps can further reduce the energy consumption of the hydraulic system by 23.2%compared to that of two-oil pumps with preset displacement. 展开更多

在自动变速箱液压控制的应用中,滑阀板液压系统存在控制精度差、多参数耦合、系统模型难以建立等缺陷。文章提出基于模型变结构比例积分(PI)的直流无刷(BLDC)电机驱动液压泵的压力控制策略,将直流无刷电机动态特性好、控制精度高等优点... 在自动变速箱液压控制的应用中,滑阀板液压系统存在控制精度差、多参数耦合、系统模型难以建立等缺陷。文章提出基于模型变结构比例积分(PI)的直流无刷(BLDC)电机驱动液压泵的压力控制策略,将直流无刷电机动态特性好、控制精度高等优点与液压泵结构简单、可靠性好等特点相结合。根据液压泵的转速、流量、压力特性关系和油液温度、黏度、弹性模量等参数建立电机转速比例积分控制模型,通过较易控制的电机驱动占空比信号实现对液压泵输出压力的调节。控制系统通过变结构比例积分控制,消除压力偏差和超调量,提高系统精度。仿真结果表明,变结构比例积分控制具有可行性,而试验结果证明,模型控制的系统响应优于纯比例积分闭环控制,并且具有很好的抗负载扰动能力。 展开更多
