The objective of this recognition is to encourage high quality studies on the frontier fields of Earth Sciences. Only articles that contain original research data and/or models are eligible for the Award, and can include arti- cles published under the categories of ＂FOCUS＂ and ＂RESEARCH PAPERS＂. The Award Committee comprising of members nomi- nated from the Editorial Board/Council of GEOSCIENCE FRONTIERS, shall be responsible for assessing the papers published during each year, and for selecting the winning paper.展开更多

Results of the Pushan-Bank of China （BOC） Award for Outstanding Papers in World Economics were announced on 13 November 2008 at the 10th executive council member meeting of the China Society of World Economics. Two academic papers have won the top Pushan-BOC Award prize for 2008. Yao Yang from Beijing University and Zhang Ye from Nanjing University have won the top prize for their paper ＂Study of the Domestic Technological Upgrading of China＇s Exported Products.＂ The other top prize winners are Wang Dehua from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Zhang Zaijin from the China Jianyin Investment Co. Ltd. and Professor Bai Chong-en from Tsinghua University for their collaborative paper ＂Size of Government, Rule of Law and the Development of the Services Sector.＂ The two papers represent the highest academic level of research by Chinese scholars in the field of world economics in recent years.展开更多
