The product was characterized by FTIR, elemental analysis, thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Four-ball tests showed that the addition of a certain concentration of the additive to rapeseed oil could effectively increase both the load-carrying capacity (PB value), resistance to wear, and friction-reducing abilities. SEM observations confirmed that the additive could result in a reduced diameter of the wear scar.展开更多
