北京谱仪-Ⅲ上粲重子Λ_c^+半轻子衰变Λ_c^+→Λe^+ν_e和Λ_c^+→Λμ^+ν_μ的蒙特卡罗研究

通过分析e+e-→Λ+c珚Λ-c,Λ+c珚Λ-c衰变到所有可能末态的蒙特卡罗样本模拟测量了粲重子Λ+c半轻子衰变过程Λ+c→Λe+νe和Λ+c→Λμ+νμ的绝对分支比。基于完整的蒙特卡罗模拟和物理分析,研究了BES-Ⅲ上测量Λ+c→Λe+νe和Λ+c→Λμ+νμ的这2个半轻子衰变分支比能够达到的精度。研究表明,如果在BES-Ⅲ上能够采集9(20)fb-1的e+e-→Λ+c珚Λ-c数据,Λ+c→Λe+νe和Λ+c→Λμ+νμ衰变分支比的测量精度能够达到4.5(3.2)%与5.7(4.0)%。该测量结果将对检验和刻度格点QCD理论和在更高的精度上检验标准模型理论提供至关重要的实验数据。

Measurement of J/ψ decays into Λ■ π^+π^-

Based on 58 million J/ψ events collected by the BESⅡ detector at the BEPC, J/ψ→ΛΛ π＋π- is observed for the first time. The branching fraction is measured to be Br（J/ψ→ΛΛ π＋π-）=（4.30±0.13±0.99）×10-3, excluding the decays to intermediate states, namely J/ψ→Ξ-Ξ＋, J/ψ→Σ（1385）-Σ（1385）＋, and J/ψ→Σ（1385）＋Σ（1385）-. The branching fractions for these intermediate resonance channels are measured to be：Br（J/ψ→Ξ-Ξ＋）=（0.90±0.03±0.18）×10-3, Br（J/ψ→Σ（1385）-Σ（1385）＋）=（1.23±0.07±0.30）×10-3,and Br（J/ψ→Σ（1385）＋Σ（1385）-）=（1.50±0.08±0.38）×10-3, respectively. The angular distribution is of the form dN/d（cosθ）α（1＋αcos2θ） with α=（0.35±0.29±0.06） for J/ψ→Ξ-Ξ＋, α=（-0.54±0.22±0.10） for J/ψ→Σ（1385）-Σ（1385）＋, and α=（-0.35±0.29±0.06） for J/ψ→Σ（1385）＋Σ（1385）-.

Evidence for the decays of ∧_c^+→∑^+η and ∑^+η’

We study the hadronic decays of ∧c^+ to the final states ∑^+η and ∑^+η, using an e^+e^- annihilation data sample of 567 pb^-1 taken at a center-of-mass energy of 4.6 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. We find evidence for the decays ∧^+→∑^+η and ∑^+η' and with statistical significance of and , respectively. Normalizing to the reference decays ∧^+→∑^+π^0 and ∑^+ω, we obtain the ratios of the branching fractions B(∧C^+→∑^+η)/V(∧^→∑^+π^0)and B(∧C^+→∑^+η)/B(∧C^+→∑^+ω)to be and , respectively. The upper limits at the 90% confidence level are set to be B(∧C^→∑^+η)/V(∧^+→∑^+π^0)<0.58 and B(∧C^+→∑^+η)/B(∧C^+→∑^+ω)<1.2. Using BESIII measurements of the branching fractions of the reference decays, we determine B(∧C^+→∑^+η)=(0.41±019±0.05)%(<0.68%) and B(∧C^+→∑^+η)=(1.34+0.53+0.19)%(<1.9%). Here, the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The obtained branching fraction of ∧C^+→∑^+η is consistent with the previous measurement, and the branching fraction of ∧C^+→∑^+η is measured for the first time.

Discovery potentials of doubly charmed baryons

The existence of doubly heavy flavor baryons has not been well established experimentally so far. In this Letter we systematically investigate the weak decays of the doubly charmed baryons, Ξ;and Ξ;, which should be helpful for experimental searches for these particles. The long-distance contributions are first studied in the doubly heavy baryon decays, and found to be significantly enhanced. Comparing all the processes, Ξ;→Λ;K;π;π;andΞ;π;are the most favorable decay modes for experiments to search for doubly heavy baryons.
