The Practice and Thinking of the Students'Exchange Program Under the Background of Internationalization

Based on the background of internationalization of higher education, the article analyzed the forms, size, significance and problems of the international students'exchange launched in Dali University of Yunnan Province; and then provided the sustainable developing strategies for the program.

Comparative Study of Internationalized Talent Cultivation Models in International Higher Education Programs

The internationalization of talent cultivation in the field of international higher education is a widely discussed topic among higher education institutions worldwide.This paper conducts a comparative study of domestic and foreign higher education institutions and identifies some differences in the internationalization of talent cultivation among different countries and regions.Firstly,the study summarizes the changes in talent cultivation through domestic study abroad programs and overseas study programs.Then,this paper introduces the“Knowledge-Practice-Research”international talent cultivation model in China and the international talent cultivation model in Japan as an example.Finally,this study compares the international talent cultivation models in domestic and foreign higher education institutions.The results indicate that the internationalization of talent cultivation models needs to be adjusted according to different training objectives,specific countries,and even regional circumstances to adapt to local characteristics and the international environment.Overall,different countries and regions have different emphases and characteristics in the internationalization of talent cultivation in higher education institutions.However,regardless of the country,higher education institutions should focus on enhancing students’international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills to adapt to the globalized economic and social environment.

Research Methodology and Analysis of Innovative Pedagogical Models in Mechanical Engineering Courses for International Students at the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Beihang University

Taking the engineering courses“Introduction to Mechanical Engineering”and“Machining Process”taught by the author at Beihang University’s International School as examples,this article systematically analyzed the current status and background of international student education,focused on research strategies for interdisciplinary education and industry-education integration innovation models from the perspectives of technical demands,student needs,and societal requirements.This article aims to cultivate highly qualified international students who come to China for their studies,help them better adapt to China’s social employment environment,and enhance their capabilities for career development in China.This article proposes a comprehensive set of innovative teaching models for mechanical engineering courses for international students at Beihang University,which encompasses eight key aspects,including talent development programs,curriculum outline reforms,optimization of classroom teaching content,respect for individual student characteristics,the establishment of practical teaching components,the use of open-ended assignments to stimulate enthusiasm for learning,the cultivation of international students’interest in China,their belief in developing friendships with China,and their goals of staying in China,and the incorporation of external experts to facilitate industry-education integration.

Rock Pressure on Tunnel with Shallow Depth in Geologically Inclined Bedding Strata

The method to calculate rock pressure to which the lining structure of tunnel with shallow depth is subjected in geologically inclined bedding strata is analyzed and put forward. Both the inclination angle of bedding strata as well as the internal friction angle of bedding plane and its cohesion all exert an influence upon the magnitude of the asymmetric rock pressure applied to tunnel. The feature that rock pressure applied to tunnel structure varies with the incUnation angle of bedding strata is discussed, At last, the safety factor, which is utilized to evaluate the working state of tunnel lining structure, is calculated for both symmetric and asymmetric lining structures. The calculation results elucidate that the asymmetric tunnel structure can be more superior to bear rock pressure in comparison with the symmetric one and should be adopted in engineering as far as possible.

Application of the “Three Threes” Method in Clinical Teaching of Internal Jugular Vein Puncture

Objective: To clarify the role of the “Three Threes” method in clinical teaching of internal jugular vein puncture and explore improvements in teaching methods. Methods: A doctor was assigned to the induction room of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University (Shanghai Changzheng Hospital) for two months. The time required for catheterization, the first puncture success rate, and occurrence of puncture-related complications were compared before and after learning the “Three Threes” method. Results: Using the “Three Threes” method reduced the catheterization time by 43%, increased the first puncture success rate by 17%, and led to fewer puncture-related complications. Conclusion: The application of the “Three Threes” method not only improves the success rate of internal jugular vein puncture but also reduces complications, making it easier for students to master the technique.

Progress in the Application of Reflective Education on Undergraduate Nursing Interns

Objective:To explore the implementation methods and effects of reflective education,and to provide references for the development of reflective education in Chinese nursing schools.Methods:Relevant literature was searched from China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database,Wipro Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database,and PubMed Database,and the included studies were analyzed descriptively.Results:The implementation of reflective education included work-site education,group discussion,video teaching,self-reflection,and expert lectures;the interventions mainly included study groups,role-playing,individual instruction,peer cooperation,demonstration and observation,field simulation,and video presentations.The implementation of reflective education can improve the sense of professional identity and professional competence of nursing interns,and reduce nursing errors and adverse events.Conclusion:Currently,nurses in China lack self-awareness and critical thinking skills,it is recommended that reflective education be incorporated into the teaching content of undergraduate nursing students during their internship in order to promote the development of professionalism and humanistic caring skills of nursing students.

Since the reformand opening up 3 0 years ago,our country has constantly adjusted strategy in the cultural transmission,and has greatly enhanced the culture consciousness and self-confidence,laying a solid foundation to further deepen the cultural transmission.Fromthe perspective of the value of China’s international cultural transmission,this paper summarizes the experience of international culture transmission,and explores how to strengthen international cultural transmission path construction in our country.

Contribution of International and Comparative Approach to the Policy and Practice of Teacher Education

This study intends to identify the value and pitfalls of international and comparative approach for the policy and practice of teacher education.The structure of this article proceeds as follows:the first section focuses on explaining the meaning and the values of international and comparative approach;based on previous discussions,the second section makes a more in-depth analysis of the values of international and comparative approach to teacher education from five key themes;the final section of this article proposes and interprets the drawbacks of international and comparative approach in teacher education.

Formulation of international standards of Chinese medicine technology:clinical practice guide of Chinese medicine for cough

OBJECTIVE:To formulate the first clinical practice guideline for the treatment of cough using Chinese medicine based on the grading of recommendations assessment,development,and evaluation(GRADE)systematic approach,including clinical evidence,evaluation of ancient literature,and expert consensus.METHODS:In the process of development,the regulation of"evidence-based,consensus-assisted,and empirical"was followed,and a comprehensive systematic approach of recommendation assessment,GRADE,evidence-based evaluation,expert consensus,and the Delphi method was used.In the process of guideline development,evidence-based evaluation of ancient literature was included for the first time,and clinical evidence was fully integrated with clinical expert consensus.RESULTS:The clinical practice guidelines for the treatment of cough with Chinese herbal medicine were developed after a comprehensive consideration of evidence-based evaluation and expert opinions.The guideline recommendations focused on recommending herbal compound decoctions and Chinese patent medicines for cough in different conditions.Based on the GRADE systematic approach,we conducted an evidence-based evaluation of the recommended Chinese patent medicines one by one;meanwhile,the expert consensus method was used to unify the recommendations of both.CONCLUSION:Based on clinical evidence,ancient literature evaluation,and expert consensus,a clinical practice guideline for Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in the treatment of cough was developed,providing the first current clinical practice guideline for domestic and foreign TCM and Western medicine practitioners,especially respiratory professionals at home and abroad.

Dynamic response of cylindrical lined cavity in elastic medium

An analytical solution to the transient dynamic response of a cylindrical lining subjected to an internal loading was presented and the dynamic interaction between the lining and surrounding soil was considered. The lining structure and the soil were treated as a cylindrical elastic shell and an infinite elastic compressible medium, respectively. A two-dimensional axisymmetric wave equation was derived from the governing equation of displacement by introducing the potential functions. Shell equation of motion was established based on continuity conditions. The closed-form solution for dynamic response of the lining due to an impact loading was obtained in Laplace transforms and inverse transforms. Detailed parametric studies were also presented to illustrate the influences of the Poisson ratio of soil, the dynamic shear moduli of both soil and lining and the thickness of lining on dynamic response of the lining.

SLFN14抗LINE-1分子机制研究

长散在核重复序列1 (long interspersed nuclear element-1, LINE-1)是迄今为止发现的人体基因组中唯一具有自主转座活性的逆转录转座子,其转座常引起宿主基因组不稳定,从而导致包括癌症在内的各种严重基因疾病的发生。宿主因子在宿主抗LINE-1转座中发挥着重要作用。宿主因子SLFN14作为免疫系统重要组成员,具有抗病毒活性。本实验室研究发现SLFN14对于LINE-1的转座具有抑制作用。为进一步探究其具体的作用机制,通过对LINE-1复制周期中的转录、翻译、逆转录、整合环节进行实验分析,证实SLFN14能够通过影响LINE-1 mRNA转录过程及其半衰期,降低LINE-1 mRNA的水平,从而影响LINE-1蛋白及cDNA表达水平,最终导致LINE-1复制受阻。同时,通过对SLFN14活性中心的定位,本研究还发现SLFN14的抗LINE-1活性与其核糖核酸内切酶结构域和核糖体结合结构域密切相关。上述研究结果展示了SLFN14调控LINE-1复制的机制,进一步完善了宿主因子调控网络,为控制因LINE-1复制引起的基因组不稳定提供了新思路。

The Basis of Atherosclerotic Guidelines—Time for a Change?

Major advances have occurred within the last decade in the understanding of the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease. Not only are the underlying mechanisms now clearly defined, but effective medical therapies are available at low cost and minimal side effects. In spite of these advances, cardiovascular events are still the leading cause of death in the United States and the Western world. Analysis of the many factors involved in the delivery of appropriate cardiovascular care strongly suggests that the primary reason is the overly restrictive guidelines published by medical societies. This article proposes a much broader basis for constructing atherosclerosis clinical guidelines, namely the known pathophysiology of atherosclerosis. If pathophysiology forms the basis of atherosclerotic treatment recommendations, then a risk/benefit analysis can be used to determine appropriate preventive therapy for any specific individual. The result will be that many additional individuals will be eligible for preventive treatment of atherosclerosis, and the saving of many lives at minimal cost will result.

A Conflict of Theory and Practice： Evidence from China

This article found that Chinese international payment＇s practice conflicted with the western macroeconomic theory. Therefore, through combining the actual conditions of China, and comparing China with the United States, this article analyzed the reason causing this kind of conflict, and provided a consulting conclusion.

International Private Sector Participation in Water Governance in China under CEWP in the Future

Water utility is considered as unique among all the natural monopolies. Overseas private sector involvement in water utility operation has been always being a sensitive topic in China. Overseas investment and engagement has happened progressively in spite of implicit and explicit barriers within China. Reviewing past foreign investments in water supply and sanitation in China, experiences and lessons co-existed, based on the combined analysis both concerning the past practices and current new possibilities, the future cooperation on international private sector participation can be looked forward to.

A Study on Internal Service Recovery Strategy Using CIT from the First Line Staff's Perspective

Service is a special product. It is intangible and unstored, so service er-rors are not avoided. Once service errors appear, the first line staffs who keep di-rect touch with customers wil play an important role in service recovery. The staffs＇ negative emotions during the recovery service should be recovered by internal ser-vice recovery. In this paper, critical incident technique is applied to analyse the re-covery strategies expected by the first line staff and the internal service recovery strategies such as inspiring, authorization, training and psychology service are put forward. the strategy most expected by the staff is reward.
