Research on Blended Teaching Mode:A Case Study of Floristry

In order to better carry out research on education and teaching,the author consulted relevant literature on blended teaching mode from 2011-2021 through CNKI,Web of Science and other websites,summarized and analyzed the research status of blended teaching mode,in order to lay a good foundation for studying blended teaching mode in course teaching.

This paper explores blended teaching in college English from five aspects:the connotation,theoretical basis,design principles,advantages,and challenges of blended teaching and blended teaching models.The purpose is to attract more foreign language practitioners and learners to pay attention to this model and put it into practice.

Research and Practice of the Blended Teaching Model of BOPPPS Teaching Method Under the Background of Digital Education: Taking Operations Research Course as an Example

The rapid development of digital education provides new opportunities and challenges for teaching model innovation.This study aims to explore the application of the BOPPPS(Bridge-in,Objective,Pre-assessment,Participatory learning,Post-assessment,Summary)teaching method in the development of a blended teaching model for the Operations Research course under the background of digital education.In response to the characteristics of the course and the needs of the student group,the teaching design is reconstructed with a student-centered approach,increasing practical teaching links,improving the assessment and evaluation system,and effectively implementing it in conjunction with digital educational technology.This teaching model has shown significant effectiveness in the context of digital education,providing valuable experience and insights for the innovation of the Operations Research course.

Research Status,Practical Dilemmas,and Optimization Strategies of Blended Teaching in Universities

Blended teaching has emerged as a prominent subject in the recent reform and innovation of higher education.It has become imperative and guiding for colleges and universities to embrace a mixed teaching approach that aligns with the evolving needs of education and teaching in the new era.This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the research status surrounding blended teaching,encompassing fundamental issues,teaching design,practical guidance,teaching effectiveness,and evaluation.By critically examining the current challenges associated with blended teaching,this study proposes optimization strategies including enhancing student participation and interaction,promoting deep learning,improving teachers’preparedness,teaching technologies,and curriculum design capabilities,strengthening top-level design,and perfecting evaluation and incentive mechanisms.These strategies provide new directions for the reform of blended teaching.

A Study on the Application of Peer Feedback among EFL Students in Blended Teaching

Recent years have witnessed the rise and popularity of blended teaching for EFL students,yet the lack of face-to-face communication and insufficient interaction lead researchers and educators to explore methods of improving the effectiveness of teaching.Peer feedback,a teaching strategy used to raise the bars by exposing instructions to a new teaching perspective to enhance students’online and offline collaboration,has received the lion’s share of attention in recent studies.On the basis of literature review,class records,and interviews,this paper,in hope of supporting advances in teachers’practice and field researches,examines the possible approaches to effectively implementing the application of peer feedback in blended teaching mode with a special focus on teachers’roles.

An Investigation on the Application of Online and Offline Hybrid Teaching in Local Anatomy Course of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Specialty

The purpose of this paper is to explore the application of online and offline blended teaching in local anatomy courses of acupuncture specialty.It introduces the concept and characteristics of blended teaching mode and analyzes the respective advantages of online and offline teaching as well as the advantages and application prospects of blended teaching mode.The teaching status quo of local anatomy courses in acupuncture and moxibustion is analyzed,pointing out the problems of the traditional teaching mode and the application prospect of the blended teaching mode.In the practical part,the preparation and design of online teaching resources,the design of offline practical teaching sessions,and the evaluation methods of teaching effect are introduced in detail.This study aims to provide new teaching modes and ideas for teaching acupuncture and moxibustion and promote the improvement of teaching quality.

Teaching Reform of “Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics” Under the Background of New Engineering

Probability theory and mathematical statistics are fundamental courses for various majors in science and engineering.In response to the current teaching situation,we should integrate theory with practice,implement teaching reform,and carry out teaching innovation.The article carries out blended teaching with deep integration of online and offline modes and within and outside of class,constructing innovative measures of“four integrations and four reshaping.”The article conducts diversified evaluations to stimulate learning motivation and help achieve talent cultivation goals.Through the close integration of probability theory and mathematical statistics course teaching with professional education and practical application,the“three-in-one”teaching goal of value shaping,ability cultivation,and knowledge exploration is achieved.The fundamental task of“cultivating morality and talents”is implemented.

Research on the Teaching Design of Advanced Mathematics Courses Based on Outcome-Based Education Concept

This paper first analyzes the characteristics and current situation of the Advanced Mathematics course;secondly,it proposes a teaching model that integrates the outcome-based education(OBE)philosophy and blended teaching method,reorganizing the teaching objectives,teaching content,and assessment evaluation process of the Advanced Mathematics course;lastly,through practice,it is proved that this approach can effectively improve students’mastery of course content,enhance students’ability to apply mathematical knowledge,and strengthen teaching effectiveness.

Research on blended teaching Mode of Cultivating problem-solving ability--Take the course"Curriculum Design and Evaluation"as an example

Based on the literature analysis,this paper identifies the five factors of problem-solving skills:cognitive ability,knowledge,meta-cognitive ability,motivation,and emotion;teaching intervention strategies;and teaching sessions that affect the development of problem-solving ability.On this basis,a blended teaching mode for cultivating problem-solving ability is designed.The article uses the problem-solving ability evaluation questionnaire to test the effect of pre-test and post-test after teaching intervention on 25 college students.The results verify that the blended teaching model designed in this paper is effective in promoting the cultivation of problem-solving ability,and provide a reference for promoting the cultivation of students'problem-solving ability in the context of the normalization of blended teaching.

Construction Ideas of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation First-class Undergraduate Course Based on Online and Offline Blended Teaching

In order to combine the advantages of online teaching and traditional offline classroom teaching,this paper optimizes the teaching design by taking Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation for undergraduates as the carrier,and reconstructs the course according to five parts:basic theory course,practical training course,standardized patient,case report,and course evaluation.Through analyzing the classroom quality and teaching effect,the innovation and practical effect of course reconstruction are explored.With students as the main body and goals as the guide,this model gives full play to the initiative and creativity of students,meets the individual needs of students at different levels,and provides reference ideas for improving the advanced,innovative and challenging creation of the course.

Research on the Application of Blended Teaching Mode in Comprehensive Practice Courses

Comprehensive practical courses are essential for the cultivation of applied technical talents in software engineering.We delve into a hybrid teaching reform scheme,using the course of Web Application System Development Comprehensive Practice as a representative example,to enhance comprehensive practice courses.Drawing upon the analysis of the current teaching situation and course-related challenges,this paper formulates a hybrid teaching reform plan that synergizes online and offline elements.It further encompasses the development of teaching contents and methodologies.Furthermore,approaches of comprehensive teaching reform are meticulously formulated to elucidate the instructional process within the hybrid online and offline teaching mode.The tangible outcomes reveal that the integration of online courses and classroom teaching,as part of this reform,enhances the overall effectiveness of the teaching,ignites students’passion for learning,and fosters collaborative teamwork among students,culminating in an overall improvement in the quality of this course.

Influence of Online Learning Attitude in the Blended Teaching Model on the Final Grades

The combination of online teaching and traditional offline teaching can maximize the advantages of both.Based on the blended teaching of English Reading course,39 students were selected as the research subjects to study the relationship between their online learning attitudes and their grades in the final examination.Judged from the number of times for each student to download teaching resources,the number of assignments submitted online,and the quality of the submitted assignments,each student’s attitude toward online learning was examined comprehensively,and a correlation analysis was conducted through SPSS Statistics 21.0 to explore the influence of online learning attitude on English reading performance.Through data collection and analysis of the online learning attitudes over a 16-week period,a significant positive correlation was found between the online learning attitudes and the English reading grades,indicating that the online learning attitude in the blended learning model plays a crucial role in improving the English reading skill,and students should maintain a positive attitude toward online teaching in blended learning.

An Empirical Study of the Influence of Online Learning Behaviors on Learning Outcomes in Blended Teaching Mode—Taking College English Listening as an Example

Blended teaching, which integrates the advantages of online and offline teaching, has become the main direction of higher education teaching reform. In the era of education big data, research on the online learners’ behavior based on data mining has attracted more and more attention from higher education researchers. However, in the field of foreign language teaching, research on the relationship between online learning behaviors and learning outcomes in the blended teaching mode is still at an early stage. Taking the course College English Listening in Zhejiang Yuexiu University (ZYU) as an example, this study conducted a comprehensive data analysis of online learning behaviors of 152 students of ZYU to explore the influence of online learning behaviors on learning outcomes in the blended teaching mode by utilizing Microsoft Excel and SPSS.20 statistic software. The result shows that the number of course login, the quantity and the quality of forum replies, the number of note submission, the quality of the notes, the average score of vocabulary tests, the number of the times of taking listening tests and the average score of listening tests are all significantly and positively correlated with students’ learning outcomes, while the study does not find a correlation between students’ learning outcomes and the number of the times of taking vocabulary tests, the total length of online learning and the length of video viewing. Based on the study results, implications are put forward to give reference for the teaching design and the management of the foreign language blended courses.

Exploration and Application of a Blended English Teaching Mode in Military University Based on Production-Oriented Approach

Aiming at solving the problems of outdated mode and single method of English teaching for sergeant students,as well as the separation of learning and applying in traditional English classes,this paper proposes a blended teaching mode guided by the production-oriented approach,carries out feasibility analysis,designs teaching activities according to the output-driven hypothesis,and tests the effectiveness of this teaching mode in Sergeant English class through practice.It has proved that this teaching mode can effectively stimulate students’motivation and interest in learning English,improve their English output and enhance their learning confidence,and significantly improve the teaching effectiveness.

On the “Online and Offline Blended Teaching” Mode for Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Universities—A Case of “Introduction to Basic Principles of Marxism”

With the deepening development of educational informatization, online and offline blended teaching, as a new teaching mode, is increasingly receiving widespread attention from educators [1]. At present, the reform of the “online and offline blended teaching” of ideological and political education courses directly affects the quality of talent cultivation in universities. The article takes the course “Introduction to Basic Principles of Marxism” as an example to explore the reform mode of “online and offline blended teaching” in ideological and political theory courses in universities from the aspects of reasonable allocation of class hours, design of online teaching activities, how to deepen classroom teaching offline, and diversified assessment modes. Furthermore, the article summarizes the experience of mode reform and promotes the deep development of the people-oriented education concept in ideological and political courses in universities, so as to achieve the ultimate goal of moral education in ideological and political education in universities.

Effectiveness of Oral English Blended Teaching Supported by Digital Technology in Universities

An empirical study of oral English blended teaching was conducted in a university.The experiment class,which was under the blended teaching mode supported by digital technology,made significant improvements in language accuracy and range,discourse length and coherence,as well as flexibility and appropriateness.On the other hand,there was no significant improvement in the scores of the control class.Through the analysis of results by means of independent t-test and paired sample t-test,we drew the following conclusions:the oral performance of university students from the experiment class significantly improved;there was remarkable difference in the total oral English scores between the experiment class and the control class;the improvement in the total score and the score of each module showed that blended teaching had significant effect on the improvement of university students’oral English performance.

Research on Blended Teaching Design Based on Deep Learning

In recent years,the blended teaching model in Chinese universities has developed rapidly,breaking through the time and space constraints of the teaching process and enriching teaching resources.The emergence of different teaching platforms has also actively promoted the modern development of education.However,there is still room for continuous optimization and development of blended learning,and issues such as some students’inability to effectively utilize online resources,inability to conduct in-depth learning,lack of thinking training,and insufficient ability cultivation and improvement require resolution.This article fully utilizes the basic concepts of deep learning in the existing blended teaching mode,proposes a blended teaching design based on deep learning,and enriches the existing student assessment and evaluation methods,thereby improving the teaching effectiveness of existing blended teaching,deepening the achievements of teaching reform,and improving teaching quality.

Research and Practice of Blending Teaching Based on “MOOC + SPOC + Flipped Classroom” for Software Engineering

Based on "MOOC + SPOC + Flipped Classroom", a particular blending teaching pattern adapting to MOOC teaching is proposed to strengthen software engineering students' abilities to study themselves and practice innovatively. Firstly, the process of MOOC development in China is introduced. The distinguishing feature and effect of MOOC teaching are analyzed, followed by the comparison with traditional class. The online Plus offline blending teaching pattern is the combination of online self-study on MOOC before class, seminar study of flipped classroom in class and the summary after class. With the demonstration of a typical case, a progressive strategy is given to implement blending teaching. Finally, the blending teaching pattern is assessed from multiple perspectives, of which both advantages and disadvantages are dissected. Through primary exploration, introducing online study and flipped classroom, blending teaching plays a positive role in software engineering teaching, which means traditional teaching pattern is changed. Meanwhile, students' innovative consciousness and practical ability are inspired. Nevertheless, new problems arise, so that intensive practice and improvement are necessary.
