BACKGROUND Tumor budding(TB)has emerged as a promising independent prognostic biomarker in colorectal cancer(CRC).The prognostic role of TB has been extensively studied and currently affects clinical decision making i...BACKGROUND Tumor budding(TB)has emerged as a promising independent prognostic biomarker in colorectal cancer(CRC).The prognostic role of TB has been extensively studied and currently affects clinical decision making in patients with stage I and II CRC.However,existing prognostic studies on TB in stage III CRC have been confined to small retrospective cohort studies.Consequently,this study investigated the correlation among TB categories,clinicopathological features,and prognosis in stage III-IV CRC to further enhance the precision and individualization of treatment through refined prognostic risk stratification.AIM To analyze the relationship between TB categories and clinicopathological characteristics and assess their prognostic value in stage III-IV CRC to further refine the prognostic risk stratification of stage III-IV CRC.METHODS The clinical data of 547 CRC patients were collected for this retrospective study.Infiltration at the front edge of the tumor buds was counted according to the 2016 International Tumor Budding Consensus Conference guidelines.RESULTS Multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis demonstrated that chemotherapy(P=0.004),clinical stage IV(P<0.001),≥4 regional lymph node metastases(P=0.004),left-sided colonic cancer(P=0.040),and Bd 2-3(P=0.002)were independent prognostic factors in patients with stage III-IV CRC.Moreover,the density of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes was higher in Bd 1 than in Bd 2-3,both in the tumor stroma and its invasive margin.CONCLUSION TB has an independent predictive prognostic value in patients with stage III-IV CRC.It is recommended to complete the TB report of stage III-IV CRC cases in the standardized pathological report to further refine risk stratification.展开更多

Bud dormancy facilitates the survival of meristems under harsh environmental conditions.To elucidate how molecular responses to chilling accumulation controlling dormancy in peach buds,chromatin immunoprecipitation se...Bud dormancy facilitates the survival of meristems under harsh environmental conditions.To elucidate how molecular responses to chilling accumulation controlling dormancy in peach buds,chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing to identify the H3K27me3 modifications and RNA sequencing of two peach cultivars with pronounced differences in chilling requirement were carried out,the results showed that genes associated with abscisic acid and gibberellic acid signal pathways play key roles in dormancy regulation.The results demonstrated that peach flower bud differentiation occurred continuously in both cultivars during chilling accumulation,which was correlated with the transcript abundance of key genes involved in phytohormone metabolism and flower bud development under adverse conditions.The more increased strength in high chillingrequirement cultivar along with the chilling accumulation at the genome-wide level.The function of the dormancy-associated MADS-box gene PpDAM6 was identified,which is involved in leaf bud break in peach and flower development in transgenic Nicotiana tabacum(NC89).In addition,PpDAM6 was positively regulated by PpCBF,and the genes of putative dormancy-related and associated with metabolic pathways were proposed.Taken together,these results constituted a theoretical basis for elucidating the regulation of peach bud dormancy transition.展开更多
Understanding how summer warming influences the parent and daughter shoot production in a perennial clonal grass is vital for comprehending the response of grassland productivity to global warming.Here,we conducted a s...Understanding how summer warming influences the parent and daughter shoot production in a perennial clonal grass is vital for comprehending the response of grassland productivity to global warming.Here,we conducted a simulated experiment using potted Leymus chinensis,to study the relationship between the photosynthetic activ-ity of parent shoots and the production of daughter shoots under a whole(90 days)summer warming scenario(+3°C).The results showed that the biomass of parents and buds decreased by 25.52%and 33.45%,respectively,under warming conditions.The reduction in parent shoot biomass due to warming directly resulted from decreased leaf area(18.03%),chlorophyll a(18.27%),chlorophyll b(29.21%)content,as well as a reduction in net photosynthetic rate(7.32%)and the maximum quantum efficiency of photosystem II(PSII)photochemistry(4.29%).The decline in daughter shoot biomass was linked to a decrease in daughter shoot number(33.33%)by warming.However,the number of belowground buds increased by 46.43%.The results indicated that long-term summer warming reduces biomass accumulation in parent shoot by increasing both limitation of stoma and non-stoma.Consequently,the parent shoot allocates relatively more biomass to the belowground organs to maintain the survival and growth of buds.Overall,buds,as a potential aboveground population,could remedy for the cur-rent loss of parent shoot density by increasing the number of future daughter shoots if summer warming subsides.展开更多
BACKGROUND Recent studies have shown that the tumor microenvironment significantly influences the behavior of solid tumors.In this context,Accumulated data suggests that pathological evaluation of tumor budding(TB),de...BACKGROUND Recent studies have shown that the tumor microenvironment significantly influences the behavior of solid tumors.In this context,Accumulated data suggests that pathological evaluation of tumor budding(TB),desmoplastic reaction(DR),and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)may be crucial in determining tumor behavior in the gastrointestinal tract.Regarding gastric adenocarcinoma(GAC),although some results suggest that TB and TILs may be effective in determining the course of the disease,the data do not agree.Moreover,very few studies have investigated the relationship between DR and survival.At present,the associations between tumor TB,DR and TILs in GAC patients have not been determined.AIM To establish the relationships between TB,DR,and TILs in patients with GAC and to assess their influence on prognosis.METHODS Our study group comprised 130 patients diagnosed with GAC.The definition of TB was established based on the International TB Consensus Conference.The DR was categorized into three groups according to the level of tumor stroma maturation.The assessment of TILs was conducted using a semiquantitative approach,employing a cutoff value of 5%.The statistical analysis of the whole group and 100 patients with an intestinal subtype of GAC was performed using SPSS version 27.RESULTS A significant correlation between peritumoral budding(PTB)and intratumoral budding(ITB)was noted(r=0.943).Tumors with high PTBs and ITBs had a greater incidence of immature DRs and low TILs(P<0.01).PTB and ITB were associated with histological subtype,lymph node metastasis(LNM),and stage(P<0.01).ITB,PTB,LNM,DR,and stage were significant risk factors associated with poor prognosis.The multivariate Cox regression analysis identified ITB,PTB,and LNM as independent prognostic variables(P<0.05).In intestinal-type adenocarcinomas,a positive correlation between PTB and ITB was noted(r=0.972).While univariate analysis revealed that LNM,stage,PTB,ITB,and DR were strong parameters for predicting survival(P<0.05),only PTB and ITB were found to be independent prognostic factors(P<0.001).CONCLUSION TB may be a potential prognostic marker in GAC.However,further studies are needed to delineate its role in pathology reporting protocols and the predictive effects of DR and TILs.展开更多

Endogenous IAA, DHZ+DHZR, iPA increased significantly during the floral bud formation, while Z+ZR remained changed. The levels of cytokinins, DHZ+DHZR, iPA, and Z+ZR all increased significantly during the vegetative bud formation, however IAA level was reduced during the first 7 days of culture and increased to two thirds of initial values on the day when the bud primordia were formed. The results suggested that the initiation of floral buds was associated with a high IAA/CTK ratio, whereas the induction of vegetative bud differentiation was related to a low IAA/CTK ratio.展开更多

[Method] Eighteen mid-season hybrid rice va- rieties approved recently were taken as materials in high-yield cultivation conditions. Characteristics of retoon rice yield components were analyzed, and relationship of yield components characteristics with the rate of bud emergence and root activity of retoon rice before harvesting was explored, based on related data. [Result] Highly- yielding retoon rice is characterized by high effective ear number (Xl) and high set- ting percentage (X4); the number of germinated shoots the 5^* d after first-batch rice was cut is a key factor for retoon rice yield and was of positive correlation with re- toon rice seedlings and effective ears, with correlation coefficients at 0.80^** and 0.76^**. In addition, bleeding sap was of positive correlation with grain number and setting percentage of retoon rice and correlation coefficients were 0.50^* and 0.48^**, and of positive correlation with average panicle weight, with correlation coefficient at 0.63. [Method] Acute alcohol intoxication was induced by administering alcohol to mice. Three different doses (low, middle and high) of compound of traditional Chinese drugs were administered to mice before and after administering alcohol respectively to investigate the preventive and therapeutical effect of drugs on acute alcohol intox-ication through doing statistical analysis about drunk mice and their sleeping time. The concentration of malondialdehyde (MDA), reduced glutathione (GSH) and triglyc-erides (TG) in liver was also determined to investigate the protective effect of drugs on liver. [Result] The efficacy of compound of traditional Chinese drugs on acute al-cohol intoxication was dose-dependent. High-dose administration decreased the number of drunk mice significantly compared with control group; middle- and high-dose administration reduced the sleeping time of drunk mice and the concentration of MDA and TG in liver tissue; three doses al increased the concentration of GSH. [Conclusion] The compound of Japanese raisintree fruit, lobed kudzuvine flower bud and lightyel ow sophora root had preventive and therapeutical effect on hangover, and it also had certain preventive and therapeutical effect on liver damage caused by alcohol.展开更多

[Objective] This study was conducted to change the situation of high cost in walnut grafting by reducing seedling cost through technical means.[Method] Effects of different rootstock processing methods and rootstock p...[Objective] This study was conducted to change the situation of high cost in walnut grafting by reducing seedling cost through technical means.[Method] Effects of different rootstock processing methods and rootstock pruning time on walnut growth and cost were studied by the square bud grafting method.[Result] The survival rate and cost under stumping were higher than those under no stumping,and the proportion of grafting-capable rootstocks under stumping was lower than that under no stumping by 9%.The cost differences between different rootstock time were remarkable.The cost for the stock pruning 15 d after grafting was 5 times as much as 1 d after grafting.[Conclusion] Direct grafting could achieve the effect of easy and convenient management,and the overall cost was lower though the survival rate was reduced to a limited extent.Sooner rootstock pruning resulted in a better effect.Pruning the rootstocks within 5 d after grafting not only could improve the quality of seedlings,but also could reduce the cost for seedling management.展开更多

Makinovar. communis Tsen et Lee]. The results showed that the developmental stage of floral bud, theconcentrations of sucrose and surfactant Silwet L-77 were critical for the successfultransformation by this new method. The suitable bud size is 2-3 mm in length, the favorableconcentration of sucrose and surfactant Silwet L-77 are 8 and 0.02% respectively. When thesucrose concentration was greater than 10% or that of Silwet L-77 was above 0.1%, the treatedbuds became yellow and finally blighted. 4/6 T1 seedlings resistant to kanamycin were positiveby PCR analysis, and T2 progeny of all these positive T1 plants have one or more hybridizingbands by Southern blot. Under 5% sucrose, 0.02% Silwet L-77 and grade 2 bud (2-3 mm in itslength) parameters, the most favorable transformation efficiency is about 0.56%, and meanefficiency reaches 0.16% in all experiments indicating that bud microinjection is potentialtransformation way in non-head Chinese cabbage.展开更多

[Result] On November 10, compared with non-freezing treatment (CK), the bud burst, ratio of free water to bound water and membrane permeability treated by freezing at -5 and -8 ℃ were almost the same as CK. But the rest freezing treatments advanced the date of endodormancy release, while the bud burst, ratio of free water to bound water and membrane permeability were high- er than CK. on November 20 and 30, the effects of the freezing treatment on en- dodormancy release were the same when the treatment on November 10, and the effect was better as the treatment was later. [Conclusion] The correlation of the rate of bud burst, ratio of free water to bound water, and membrane permeability of the different freezing treatments indicated that the change from bound water to free wa- ter and the increase of membrane permeability were probably the signal of endodor- mancy release.展开更多

[Method] The paraffin section method was used to observe the flower bud of Gentiana triflora un- der microscope. [Result] The flower bud differentiation process of Gentiana triflora could be divided into six stages: the undifferentiated stage, initial differentiation stage, sepal primordia differentiation stage, petal primordia differentiation stage, stamen pri- mordia differentiation stage and the pistil primordia differentiation stage. The flower bud differentiation started from early May, when the plant had 10-11 stem nodes, and completed in early June, lasted about 40 d. The effect of plant height on flower bud differentiation was not significant. [Conclusion] The study provided theoretical basis for the high-yield cultivation, variety selection and flowering regulation of Gentiana triflora.展开更多

In the in vivo/in vitro test, the results showed that V2O5 had no obvious effect on cell proliferation but had obvious inhibiting effect on cell differentiation. These results indicated that V2O5 might have a specific inhibiting effect on the differentiation of limb bud cells.展开更多

The results s...Health condition and replacement time of terminal bud were selected as quality indexes of regenerated seedlings in 3 different growth forms to analyze their impact on seedling height and ground diameter. The results showed that quality of terminal bud was related to the seedling growth, the regenerated seedlings with healthy terminal buds but no replacement experienced the largest growth amount and slight damage of terminal bud or one replacement stimulated growth of ground diameter. Multiple replacements of terminal bud would reduce seedling quality and influence its growth. Exploration of the quality characters of seedlings helped to know the dynamic features of early seedling growth, and provided theoretical support for the tending operation to improve quality of natural tropical forest.展开更多

文摘Bud dormancy facilitates the survival of meristems under harsh environmental conditions.To elucidate how molecular responses to chilling accumulation controlling dormancy in peach buds,chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing to identify the H3K27me3 modifications and RNA sequencing of two peach cultivars with pronounced differences in chilling requirement were carried out,the results showed that genes associated with abscisic acid and gibberellic acid signal pathways play key roles in dormancy regulation.The results demonstrated that peach flower bud differentiation occurred continuously in both cultivars during chilling accumulation,which was correlated with the transcript abundance of key genes involved in phytohormone metabolism and flower bud development under adverse conditions.The more increased strength in high chillingrequirement cultivar along with the chilling accumulation at the genome-wide level.The function of the dormancy-associated MADS-box gene PpDAM6 was identified,which is involved in leaf bud break in peach and flower development in transgenic Nicotiana tabacum(NC89).In addition,PpDAM6 was positively regulated by PpCBF,and the genes of putative dormancy-related and associated with metabolic pathways were proposed.Taken together,these results constituted a theoretical basis for elucidating the regulation of peach bud dormancy transition.

文摘Understanding how summer warming influences the parent and daughter shoot production in a perennial clonal grass is vital for comprehending the response of grassland productivity to global warming.Here,we conducted a simulated experiment using potted Leymus chinensis,to study the relationship between the photosynthetic activ-ity of parent shoots and the production of daughter shoots under a whole(90 days)summer warming scenario(+3°C).The results showed that the biomass of parents and buds decreased by 25.52%and 33.45%,respectively,under warming conditions.The reduction in parent shoot biomass due to warming directly resulted from decreased leaf area(18.03%),chlorophyll a(18.27%),chlorophyll b(29.21%)content,as well as a reduction in net photosynthetic rate(7.32%)and the maximum quantum efficiency of photosystem II(PSII)photochemistry(4.29%).The decline in daughter shoot biomass was linked to a decrease in daughter shoot number(33.33%)by warming.However,the number of belowground buds increased by 46.43%.The results indicated that long-term summer warming reduces biomass accumulation in parent shoot by increasing both limitation of stoma and non-stoma.Consequently,the parent shoot allocates relatively more biomass to the belowground organs to maintain the survival and growth of buds.Overall,buds,as a potential aboveground population,could remedy for the cur-rent loss of parent shoot density by increasing the number of future daughter shoots if summer warming subsides.
文摘BACKGROUND Recent studies have shown that the tumor microenvironment significantly influences the behavior of solid tumors.In this context,Accumulated data suggests that pathological evaluation of tumor budding(TB),desmoplastic reaction(DR),and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)may be crucial in determining tumor behavior in the gastrointestinal tract.Regarding gastric adenocarcinoma(GAC),although some results suggest that TB and TILs may be effective in determining the course of the disease,the data do not agree.Moreover,very few studies have investigated the relationship between DR and survival.At present,the associations between tumor TB,DR and TILs in GAC patients have not been determined.AIM To establish the relationships between TB,DR,and TILs in patients with GAC and to assess their influence on prognosis.METHODS Our study group comprised 130 patients diagnosed with GAC.The definition of TB was established based on the International TB Consensus Conference.The DR was categorized into three groups according to the level of tumor stroma maturation.The assessment of TILs was conducted using a semiquantitative approach,employing a cutoff value of 5%.The statistical analysis of the whole group and 100 patients with an intestinal subtype of GAC was performed using SPSS version 27.RESULTS A significant correlation between peritumoral budding(PTB)and intratumoral budding(ITB)was noted(r=0.943).Tumors with high PTBs and ITBs had a greater incidence of immature DRs and low TILs(P<0.01).PTB and ITB were associated with histological subtype,lymph node metastasis(LNM),and stage(P<0.01).ITB,PTB,LNM,DR,and stage were significant risk factors associated with poor prognosis.The multivariate Cox regression analysis identified ITB,PTB,and LNM as independent prognostic variables(P<0.05).In intestinal-type adenocarcinomas,a positive correlation between PTB and ITB was noted(r=0.972).While univariate analysis revealed that LNM,stage,PTB,ITB,and DR were strong parameters for predicting survival(P<0.05),only PTB and ITB were found to be independent prognostic factors(P<0.001).CONCLUSION TB may be a potential prognostic marker in GAC.However,further studies are needed to delineate its role in pathology reporting protocols and the predictive effects of DR and TILs.
文摘The sectioned thin cell layers (TCL) of flower stalk of Cichorium intybus L. were cultured in MS medium supplemented with NAA and BA or IAA and BA where floral and vegetative buds were developed from the explant. Endogenous IAA, DHZ+DHZR, iPA increased significantly during the floral bud formation, while Z+ZR remained changed. The levels of cytokinins, DHZ+DHZR, iPA, and Z+ZR all increased significantly during the vegetative bud formation, however IAA level was reduced during the first 7 days of culture and increased to two thirds of initial values on the day when the bud primordia were formed. The results suggested that the initiation of floral buds was associated with a high IAA/CTK ratio, whereas the induction of vegetative bud differentiation was related to a low IAA/CTK ratio.

文摘The drought resistances of 44 maize germplasms at budding stage were studied with 19.2% polyethylene glycol(PEG-6000)in order to provide new germplasm resource for drought resistance breeding of maize.The results showed there were five extremely high drought resistance germplasms,20 germplasms with high drought resistance,and 19 germplasms with medium drought resistance.The significance testing was also used to demonstrate that the germination index(GI)and germination of drought resistance index(GDRI)of N4,N54-1 and Wuming No.1 were dramatically remarkable than others.The conclusion was that the 44 maize germplasm had good drought resistance and could be used as germplasm resource of the drought resistance breeding of maize,which had a great value of development and utilization.

文摘Aim To study the chemical constituents of the flower buds of Tussilago farfara L. in the China National GAP Base of Traditional Chinese Materia Medica and provide scientific basis for quality control. Methods The constituents were separated and purified by different chromatographic methods, and their structures were elucidated by IR, MS and NMR techniques. Results Twenty eight compounds were isolated from the flower buds of T. farfara. Their structures were identified as n- heptacosane (1), bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (2), 7β-[3'-ethylcrotonoyloxy]-1α-[2'-methylbutyryloxy]-3,14-dehydro-Z-notonipetranone (3), 7β-[3'-ethylcrotonoyloxy]-1α-[2'-methylbutyryloxy]-3,14-dehydro-E-notonipetranone (4), tussilagone (5), dibutyl phthalate (6), bauer-7-ene-3β,16α-diol (7), isobauerenol (8), stigmasterol (9), β-sitosterol (10), 2,2-dimethyl-6-acetylchromanone (11), n- hexadecanoic acid (12), 7β-hydroxysitosterol (13), 7α-hydroxysitosterol (14), 7,14-bisdesacylnotonipetrone (15), 2,3- dihydroxypropylpalmitate (16), daucosterol (17), 6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylhept-2-en-4-one (18), ferulic acid (19), isoferulic acid (20), caffeic acid (21), α-D-glucose (22), sucrose (23), phthalic acid (24), p-hydroxybenzoic acid (25), gallic acid (26), uridine (27), and adenosine (28). Conclusion Compounds 1, 12-16, 18 and 20 were obtained from the genus Tussilago for the first time.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to study on characteristics of retoon rice yield components, and relationship of the characteristics with born bud rate and root ac- tivity of retoon rice before harvesting. [Method] Eighteen mid-season hybrid rice va- rieties approved recently were taken as materials in high-yield cultivation conditions. Characteristics of retoon rice yield components were analyzed, and relationship of yield components characteristics with the rate of bud emergence and root activity of retoon rice before harvesting was explored, based on related data. [Result] Highly- yielding retoon rice is characterized by high effective ear number (Xl) and high set- ting percentage (X4); the number of germinated shoots the 5^* d after first-batch rice was cut is a key factor for retoon rice yield and was of positive correlation with re- toon rice seedlings and effective ears, with correlation coefficients at 0.80^** and 0.76^**. In addition, bleeding sap was of positive correlation with grain number and setting percentage of retoon rice and correlation coefficients were 0.50^* and 0.48^**, and of positive correlation with average panicle weight, with correlation coefficient at 0.63. [Conclusion] It is an effective way for the rate of bud emergence and root activity at lar ecological zones. mproving retoon rice yield to increase harvesting in the test sites and simi lar ecological zones.

文摘[Objective] We aimed to investigate the preventive and therapeutical effect of compound of traditional Chinese drugs (Japanese raisintree fruit, lobed kudzuvine flower bud and lightyel ow sophora root) on acute alcohol intoxication in mice. [Method] Acute alcohol intoxication was induced by administering alcohol to mice. Three different doses (low, middle and high) of compound of traditional Chinese drugs were administered to mice before and after administering alcohol respectively to investigate the preventive and therapeutical effect of drugs on acute alcohol intox-ication through doing statistical analysis about drunk mice and their sleeping time. The concentration of malondialdehyde (MDA), reduced glutathione (GSH) and triglyc-erides (TG) in liver was also determined to investigate the protective effect of drugs on liver. [Result] The efficacy of compound of traditional Chinese drugs on acute al-cohol intoxication was dose-dependent. High-dose administration decreased the number of drunk mice significantly compared with control group; middle- and high-dose administration reduced the sleeping time of drunk mice and the concentration of MDA and TG in liver tissue; three doses al increased the concentration of GSH. [Conclusion] The compound of Japanese raisintree fruit, lobed kudzuvine flower bud and lightyel ow sophora root had preventive and therapeutical effect on hangover, and it also had certain preventive and therapeutical effect on liver damage caused by alcohol.

文摘[Objective] This study was conducted to change the situation of high cost in walnut grafting by reducing seedling cost through technical means.[Method] Effects of different rootstock processing methods and rootstock pruning time on walnut growth and cost were studied by the square bud grafting method.[Result] The survival rate and cost under stumping were higher than those under no stumping,and the proportion of grafting-capable rootstocks under stumping was lower than that under no stumping by 9%.The cost differences between different rootstock time were remarkable.The cost for the stock pruning 15 d after grafting was 5 times as much as 1 d after grafting.[Conclusion] Direct grafting could achieve the effect of easy and convenient management,and the overall cost was lower though the survival rate was reduced to a limited extent.Sooner rootstock pruning resulted in a better effect.Pruning the rootstocks within 5 d after grafting not only could improve the quality of seedlings,but also could reduce the cost for seedling management.
文摘Three main parameters were selected to study their importance in transformation by budmicroinjection in non-head Chinese cabbage [Brassica campestris ssp. chinensis (L.) Makinovar. communis Tsen et Lee]. The results showed that the developmental stage of floral bud, theconcentrations of sucrose and surfactant Silwet L-77 were critical for the successfultransformation by this new method. The suitable bud size is 2-3 mm in length, the favorableconcentration of sucrose and surfactant Silwet L-77 are 8 and 0.02% respectively. When thesucrose concentration was greater than 10% or that of Silwet L-77 was above 0.1%, the treatedbuds became yellow and finally blighted. 4/6 T1 seedlings resistant to kanamycin were positiveby PCR analysis, and T2 progeny of all these positive T1 plants have one or more hybridizingbands by Southern blot. Under 5% sucrose, 0.02% Silwet L-77 and grade 2 bud (2-3 mm in itslength) parameters, the most favorable transformation efficiency is about 0.56%, and meanefficiency reaches 0.16% in all experiments indicating that bud microinjection is potentialtransformation way in non-head Chinese cabbage.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to study the relationship of plant characters with bud living rate and mother stem emergence rate of ratoon rice before harvest. [Method] Eighteen mid-season hybrid rice cultivators approved recently were taken as materials and relationship of plant characters including bud living rate and moth- er stem emergence rate of ratoon rice before harvest was explored, based on relat- ed data. [Result] The shorter rice with lower harvesting index is the main character of high emergence rate for first cropping rice; decline of plant height and increase of ear-bearing percentage would improve emergence of regenerative seedlings. [Conclusion] The research provided scientific reference for breeding of rice cultivars with high regenerative capacity.

文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the endodormancy release in nectarine bud treated by short-term freezing. [Method] Through short-term freezing at seven different temperatures for three different periods on bud, the livability, burst, ratio of free water to bound water and membrane permeability of 'Shuguang' nec- tarine bud were studied. [Result] On November 10, compared with non-freezing treatment (CK), the bud burst, ratio of free water to bound water and membrane permeability treated by freezing at -5 and -8 ℃ were almost the same as CK. But the rest freezing treatments advanced the date of endodormancy release, while the bud burst, ratio of free water to bound water and membrane permeability were high- er than CK. on November 20 and 30, the effects of the freezing treatment on en- dodormancy release were the same when the treatment on November 10, and the effect was better as the treatment was later. [Conclusion] The correlation of the rate of bud burst, ratio of free water to bound water, and membrane permeability of the different freezing treatments indicated that the change from bound water to free wa- ter and the increase of membrane permeability were probably the signal of endodor- mancy release.

文摘[Objective] This study was to obseve the flower bud differentiation process of Gentiana triflora Pall., and to clarify the flower bud development law and the correlation between flower buds differentiation and external morphology. [Method] The paraffin section method was used to observe the flower bud of Gentiana triflora un- der microscope. [Result] The flower bud differentiation process of Gentiana triflora could be divided into six stages: the undifferentiated stage, initial differentiation stage, sepal primordia differentiation stage, petal primordia differentiation stage, stamen pri- mordia differentiation stage and the pistil primordia differentiation stage. The flower bud differentiation started from early May, when the plant had 10-11 stem nodes, and completed in early June, lasted about 40 d. The effect of plant height on flower bud differentiation was not significant. [Conclusion] The study provided theoretical basis for the high-yield cultivation, variety selection and flowering regulation of Gentiana triflora.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to study the feasibility of using colchicine to induce polyploidy from the buds of Shandong Salvia miltiorrhiza.[Method] The buds of Shandong Salvia miltiorrhiza were induced by colchicine.[Result] When the concentration of colchicine supplemented in culture medium was 12 mg/L,the induction rate of polyploidy was the highest(36.6%),but its survival rate was only 16.7%.When the concentration of colchicine was 8 mg/L,the induction rate of polyploidy was 15.9%,and its survival rate was up to 40.0%.Polyploidy plant of Shandong Salvia miltiorrhiza was strong and had thick,large and dark leaves,and long stomata on the lower epidermis of leaves had small density.[Conclusion] Colchicine could induce buds effectively,and the polyploidy breeding material of Salvia miltiorrhiza was obtained,which laid a foundation for shortening breeding process.
文摘The micromass culture was used to determine the effects of vanadium pentoxide (V2O5 ) on the proliferation and differentiation of limb bud cells of rat. In the in vitro test, the results showed that V2O5 had obvious inhibiting effects on both proliferation and differentiation of limb bud cells with a dosedependent response, its proliferating and differentiating IC50 being 13.64 and 4.77μmol/L, respectively. In the in vivo/in vitro test, the results showed that V2O5 had no obvious effect on cell proliferation but had obvious inhibiting effect on cell differentiation. These results indicated that V2O5 might have a specific inhibiting effect on the differentiation of limb bud cells.

文摘Health condition and replacement time of terminal bud were selected as quality indexes of regenerated seedlings in 3 different growth forms to analyze their impact on seedling height and ground diameter. The results showed that quality of terminal bud was related to the seedling growth, the regenerated seedlings with healthy terminal buds but no replacement experienced the largest growth amount and slight damage of terminal bud or one replacement stimulated growth of ground diameter. Multiple replacements of terminal bud would reduce seedling quality and influence its growth. Exploration of the quality characters of seedlings helped to know the dynamic features of early seedling growth, and provided theoretical support for the tending operation to improve quality of natural tropical forest.
