The poly-mer electrolyte films were characterized using DSC, XRD and AC impedance spectroscopy. The SPE with the PEO-ENR50 composition of 70-30 shows the highest conductivity of 4.2 × 10-5 Scm-1 at the 15 wt.% of LiCF3SO3 compared with the other composition of PEO/ENR50. This composition was then chosen to investigate the effect of LiCF3SO3 on the thermal property, structure and conductivity of the electrolyte. The highest room temperature conductivity of 1.4 × 10-4 Scm-1 was achieved at 20 wt.% of LiCF3SO3. The conductivity result is supported by the DSC and XRD analysis which showed the semi- crystalline nature of PEO turning to amor-phous state due to the increase in LiCF3SO3 content.展开更多

The time trajectories of mean stem volume-density nearly paralleled the y-axis during early growth stages of stands, and then began to curve left. Finally, the mean stem volume-density trajectories of the low-, middle-and high-density stands tended to follow the self-thinning lines with slopes of-2.01,-1.90 and-1.99, respectively. With increasing physical time t, the biological time s increased rapidly during early growth stages and became slow gradually during later growth stages. Realized density-initial density curves tended to become more or less flat with increasing initial density, indicating the existence of an asymptotic value for density at a given time. The coefficient e, the reciprocal of which represents the asymptotic density at a given time, increased with increasing biological time s, indicating that the asymptotic density decreased with increasing stand age.Final yield Y(t) increased gradually with increasing stand age.展开更多

Thus, deficiency of vitamin D is associated with several malignancies, but also with a plethora of infectious diseases. Among other communicable diseases, vitamin D deficiency is involved in the pathogenesis of chronic liver diseases caused by hepatitis B and C viruses(HBV, HCV) and high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency with serum levels below 20 mg/mL in patients with HBV and HCV infection are found worldwide. Several studies have assessed the effects of vitamin D supplementation on the sustained virological response(SVR) to interferon(IFN) plus ribavirin(RBV) therapy in HBV and HCV infection. In these studies, inconsistent results were reported. This review addresses general aspects of vitamin D deficiency and, in particular, the significance of vitamin D hypovitaminosis in the outcome of HBVand HCV-related chronic liver diseases. Furthermore, current literature was reviewed in order to understand the effects of vitamin D supplementation in combination with IFN-based therapy on the virological response in HBV and HCV infected patients.展开更多

The seismicity data of moderate or small earthquakes during 1972 ~ 1996 in North China are used to perform spacial scanning of seismicity factor A-value. The result shows that there are obviously anomaly zones of A-value with better prediction effect in the mid-term of 2~3 years before most moderately strong earthquakes. Some problems regarding the mid-term prediction using A-value have been discussed.展开更多
