This paper presents a cadastral spatial data storage structure based on relational database,the method and the procedure to realize it.The paper consists of three parts.In the first part,some existing problems in some...This paper presents a cadastral spatial data storage structure based on relational database,the method and the procedure to realize it.The paper consists of three parts.In the first part,some existing problems in some developed cadastral management systems are discussed.These problems are the following four.1) The security of cadastral spatial data is difficult to be assured.2) It is difficult to varify cadastral data and the integrality of cadastral data is difficult to be kept.3) To transmit and share cadastral data is difficult.4) The efficiency of data access is low.In the second part,the feasibility of using relational database to store spatial data is analyzed and a new cadastral spatial data storage structure is presented.At the same time,the related table structures and field descriptions are given,and then the merits and demerits of this storage structure are analyzed in detail.In the last part,through a real example,the detailed methods to make the new storage structure a reality are given.Moreover,some involving key techniques of the new storage structure are discussed.These techniques are:1) the application of database transaction,2) the application of database trigger,3) and the application of secure recovery of database.展开更多
In the Second Chinese Country Survey, MAPGIS (Map Geographic Information System) is widely used all over the country in the Cadastral Database Construction. There are plenty original data is saved in the AutoCAD (Auto...In the Second Chinese Country Survey, MAPGIS (Map Geographic Information System) is widely used all over the country in the Cadastral Database Construction. There are plenty original data is saved in the AutoCAD (Auto Computer Aided Design) data format. Therefore it is important to find a way which can exchange and share the data between AutoCAD and MAPGIS effectively and efficiently. In order to use MapGIS cadastral management system building cadastral database, it researched the current transformation methods between data of MapGIS and AutoCAD, including analysis defects of ObjectARX technology, southern CASS conversion interface, DXF file conversion. Combining the characteristics of MAPSUV data and southern CASS data, it found a data conversion method through the DWGdirectX control. This method actually read and wrote files provided by the library of MAPSUV and AutoCAD. This way avoids exchange process which can better transform the southern CASS DWG file containing graphics and attributes information to the SUV. The example which showed how DWG file transformed into SUV file. It improves the effectiveness and efficiency of conversion.展开更多
The real estate valuation activity in the Republic of Moldova dates from 2002, with the adoption of Law No. 989 on Evaluation Activity. Nevertheless, the legislative and methodological framework is extremely limited. ...The real estate valuation activity in the Republic of Moldova dates from 2002, with the adoption of Law No. 989 on Evaluation Activity. Nevertheless, the legislative and methodological framework is extremely limited. There are no national professional standards. Meanwhile, the situations that require real estate valuation are multiplying and diversifying. Therefore, the valuers apply the provisions of the International Valuation Standards (IVS) and of the European Valuation Standards (TEGoVA) adapting them to the national realities by virtue of their knowledge and experience. Information stored in databases plays an important role in the real estate valuation process. In this paper, the authors analyse the content of existing databases in the Republic of Moldova (the databases of normative documents, the information system for the cadastre of real estate, the statistical databases, and specialized databases), the quality of the included information, as well as the applicability of that information in the real estate valuation process. The disadvantages, limitations and shortcomings of databases are highlighted, and measures are proposed to increase their usefulness.展开更多

This paper proposes a Cache-Conscious TPR -Link tree called CTPR Link tre...With the development of wireless communications and positioning technologies, tracking the positions of moving objects has increased necessary. This paper proposes a Cache-Conscious TPR -Link tree called CTPR Link tree which store in main memory. To satisfy continuous movement, the QRMBR definition is modified. The compression leads to the reduction of the tree height, which improves the cache behavior of the index and reduces the memory access time. In order to achieve high concurrency control, optimistic dynamic versioning and sibling-link scheme is presented, which not only enable read-only transactions not to fail with latch-free but also reduce cache misses during index updates.展开更多
