A Study on the Application of Audible Thinking Combined with Case Teaching Method in the Teaching of Nursing Room Visits for Trained Nurses

Objective:To investigate the effect of using audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing checkups for regulation nurses.Methods:The period was April 2023–April 2024,and a randomized controlled group study was carried out in which 76 regulation nurses in our hospital were randomly divided into a research group and a control group,with 38 regulation nurses in each group.The control group used conventional teaching methods,and the research group used audible thinking combined with the case teaching method,comparing the two groups’independent learning ability scores,assessment scores,and teaching satisfaction.Results:Independent learning ability score:after teaching,the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);Assessment results:the research group was considerably higher than the control group(P<0.05);Teaching satisfaction:the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing room visits for trained nurses can improve independent learning ability and assessment results and increase teaching satisfaction.

A Research on the Application of Case Teaching Method in Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education in College English Course under the Concept of OBE

Since the idea of“Curriculum-Based Ideological and Political Education”was formally proposed in 2016,it has rapidly become a research hotspot in education reform.Although a large number of relevant studies have focused on the effective paths to curriculum-based ideological and political education in specific courses,there are few studies on how to integrate ideological and political education contents into particular courses under specific educational concepts and by particular teaching methods.Thus,this paper will explore how to improve the teaching effectiveness of curriculumbased ideological and political education in College English course with the OBE concept as the driving force and the case teaching method as the means.Finally,a few thoughts on the application of case teaching method in College English course are offered.

Research Methods and Essay Writing Analysis of MBA Dissertation

With the vigorous development of innovation and entrepreneurship in China,a large number of managers of innovation and entrepreneurship enterprises are studying for MBA degree.The enrollment scale of the MBA program is expanding.In order to improve the quality of MBA dissertation and promote the sustainable and healthy development of MBA education,based on the author's years of MBA teaching experience and dissertation writing guidance experience,this paper introduces three research methods of dissertation writing skills:case study method,enterprise diagnosis method and survey research method,and analyzes five steps of MBA dissertation writing,which can be used as a reference for MBA(EMBA)students to improve their dissertation writing level.

ON THE LIMIT CASE OF THE STEP-REDUCTION METHOD FOR CALCULATING NON-UNIFORM BEAM WITH VARIOUS SECTIONS

In this paper, the step reduction method is discussed, which was advanced by Prof. Yeh Kai-yuan for calculating a non-uniform beam with various sections. The following result is proved. The approximate solution by this method approaches the true solution if the number of the steps approaches the infinity. However, the measure of the error between the limit solution and the ture solution is not in the pure mathematics sense but in the mechanics sense.

The Application of Case Method in the Teaching of Investment Project Evaluation

Case Method originated in the 1920s and was initiated by Harvard Business School in the United States.At that time,it adopted a unique style of case study,which was based on real situations or events in business management,in this way,it is helpful to cultivate and develop students’active participation in class discussion.For investment students,specialized courses such as Investment Project Evaluation and corporate finance are concentrated in the upper grades,and in the freshman,sophomore phase has completed the Finance,finance,macroeconomics and other basic courses.On the basis of students’existing knowledge structure,the course“Investment Project Evaluation”needs to fully tap students’potential in learning and train students’practical problem-solving ability,to cultivate students’thinking ability of combining theoretical knowledge with practical cases,to avoid the teaching mode of“I tell you to listen”,and to guide students to think,analyze and solve problems actively.

Research on the Teaching Reform of Polymer Materials Foundation Course-Based on the Case Analysis Method

In today's education and teaching reform,the traditional teaching method in the teaching of polymer materials has been gradually replaced with various new teaching methods.Among them,the case analysis method is a very efective teaching method,which has been applied to the teaching of polymer materials.Through example-based teaching,students 125 participation can be effectively improved,and their theoretical knowledge can be fully utilized.This would have a positive role in promoting the improvement of students'knowledge system and their learning ability.In regard to this,this article analyzes the application of case analysis in the teaching of polymer materials so as to improve its efficiency and quality.

SONOGRAPHIC PATTERNS AND DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF CYSTIC RENAL CARCINOMAS

OBJECTIVE: To study the sonographic features and patterns of cystic renal carcinomas. METHODS: Thirteen cases of cystic renal carcinoma confirmed by operation and pathology were examined by ultrasonography, and the cystic walls, septa and solid mural nodules were studied. RESULTS: Solid mural nodules of some cases and irregular thickening of the cystic walls and septa were characteristic findings for the ultrasonic diagnosis of cystic renal carcinomas. According to their pathologic mechanisms and sonographic features, cystic renal carcinomas were classified into 3 patterns: unilocular cystic mass, multiloculated cystic mass and cystic-solid mass. CONCLUSIONS: Typical cystic renal carcinomas can be well diagnosed, while atypical cases may be misdiagnosed as benign renal cysts by ultrasonography. Color Doppler ultrasonography and needle aspiration guided by ultrasonography are helpful in the diagnosis of these atypical cases.

Foreign Landscape Architecture History Teaching by Introducing Three-dimensional Graphic Analysis:A Case Study of Italian Renaissance Gardens

Taking contents of Italian Renaissance gardens in the course Foreign Landscape Architecture History as an example,this paper introduces case teaching method and analyzes application of three-dimensional graphic analysis method in case teaching in detail,aiming at typical cases of Italian Renaissance gardens,namely,Villa Medici,Fiesole and Villa d’Este,Tivoli.Three-dimensional graphic analysis can help students form intuitive feeling of terrain and space,further understand the typical gardening techniques of foreign gardens,so as to improve the teaching effect of landscape architecture history course.

SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME:FIRST REPORT OF A PEDIGREE IN CHINA

OBJECTIVE: To describe a case of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type IV and its pedigree in China. METHODS: Clinical materials of a case of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type IV and a pedigree of 6 members within 4 generations were analyzed. Dilated internal jugular vein in the proband was removed by operation. The diagnosis, surgical treatment, and postoperative complications were retrospectively reviewed. RESULTS: Vessels of the proband in the pedigree were crisp and easily lacinated during the procedure of removing his internal jugular vein. Repeating postoperative hematomas were found though complete stanching was achieved during the operation. The patient was successfully recovered by promptly debridgement and needle sucking. The other 5 members of the pedigree all had the triads of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: Though it was of extremely low morbidity rate, the high mortality rate and complication of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome deserve great attention during surgical management, especially in patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type IV. Surgeons should be aware of the ponderance of its complications and combined diseases to avoid fatal intraoperative vascular lascination and incontrollable hemorrhage.

Discussion on Collaborative Teaching of Econometrics in the Field of Environmental Economics

To capitalize on the synergies between the Econometrics course and the Environmental Economics major,this paper aims to enhance students’ability to conduct empirical analysis and practical application using econometric models.It also seeks to promote collaborative teaching through case studies and model research.The primary focus is on the hot research issues within the field of environmental economics,utilizing the econometric model as a vehicle for instruction.To achieve this,the paper proposes the development of a comprehensive case library specific to environmental economics.This resource will serve to optimize the case teaching approach,incorporating the use of econometric software,and fostering interactive teaching models between educators and students.By implementing these strategies,the paper outlines a path and mode for collaborative teaching that effectively bridges the gap between econometrics and environmental economics.

WOUND INFECTION AFTER SCOLIOSIS SURGERY:AN ANALYSIS OF 15 CASES

OBJECTIVE: To discuss the causes and treatments of wound infections after scoliosis surgery. METHODS: Nine hundred and twenty-four caes of scoliosis were reviewed, and the clinical data of 15 cases of postoperative infection were analysed retrospectively. RESULTS: All 15 cases underwent spinal posterior fusion with autologous bone graft using instrumentations. Seven were diagnosed as early infection, and 8 were delayed infection. Radical debridement was performed in all 15 cases. The duration of antibiotics administration was 10 to 34 days with continuous closed irrigation for 2 to approximately 4 weeks and primary closure for the wounds. All patients were followed up for an average of 3.5 years (2 to 7.5 years) with good outcomes and no recurrence. CONCLUSION: Wound infection following surgical correction of scoliosis primarily results from intraoperative seeding, although host-related and operation-related factors may contribute to its development. Once the infections are diagnosed, good results can be achieved by prompt surgical debridement, irrigation and reasonably administered antibiotics. Removal of hardware may be necessary in deep infections.
