The influence of components of culture medium on the flocculant production by Pseudomonas sp. is studied.The results of our experiments show that the higbest level of bio-flocculant accumulation is obtained and the hioflocculant can efrectively flocculate kaolin clay on condition that this stralu is grown in the medium containing glucose as carbon source, aud (NH4)2SO4 as nitrogen source, with the yend extract being added. In addition, some kinds of cationic ions have some influences on the flocculation rate of kaolin clay with tbe Al3+ions in particular.展开更多
