This paper takes the Lanxi ancient levee as a research object to study the evolution laws of its seepage, displacement and stability before and after reinforcement with the upside-down hanging wells and grouting curtain through numerical simulation methods combined with experiments and observations. The study results indicate that the filled soil is less affected by water level fluctuations and groundwater concentration after reinforcement. A high groundwater level is detrimental to the levee's long-term stability, and the drainage issues need to be fully considered. The deformation of the reinforced levee is effectively controlled since the fill deformation is mainly borne by the upside-down hanging wells. The safety factors of the levee before reinforcement vary significantly with the water level. The minimum value of the safety factors is 0.886 during the water level decreasing period, indicating a very high risk of the instability. While it reached 1.478 after reinforcement, the stability of the ancient levee is improved by a large margin.展开更多

And regressing was applied to analysis of the test data. The two models test results indicate that when the diffusing radius of grout changes from 26 to 51 cm, the grouted sandy gravel compressing strength changes from 2.13 to 12.30 MPa; the relationship between diffusing radius(R) and water cement ratio(m), permeability coefficient(k), grouting pressure(p), grouting time(t) is R=19.953m^0.121k^0.429p^0.412t^0.437; the relationship between compressing strength(P) and porosity(n), water cement ratio, grouting pressure, grouting time is P =0.984n^0.517m6-1.488p^0.118t^0.031. So the porosity of sandy gravel, the permeability coefficient of sandy gravel, grouting pressure, grouting time, water cement ratio are main factors to influence the grouting effect. The grouting pressure is the main factor to influence grouting diffusing radius, and the water cement ratio is the main factor to influence grouted sandy gravel compressing strength.展开更多

Ground surface displacement was assumed to be caused by the cavity expansion of grouting, slurry seepage, and slurry contraction. A prediction method of ground surface displacement was developed. The reliability of the presented method was validated through a comparison between theoretical results and results from engineering practice. Results show that the present method is effective. The effect of parameters on uplift displacement was illustrated under different grouting conditions. Through analysis, it can be known that the ground surface uplift is mainly caused by osmosis of slurry and the primary influence angle of stratum β determines the influence range of surface uplift. Besides, the results show that ground surface uplift displacement decreases notably with increasing depth of the grouting cavity but it increases with increasing diffusion radius of grout and increasing grouting pressure.展开更多

It is regarded that the refilling grouting could not be used for remedying the thickness of concrete lining; the end sealing of refilling grouting section should not be neglected; higher grouting pressure would be used. For the consolidation grouting, grout return pipe should be placed at the grout hole top for pure pressure type grouting; five-grade water cement ratio of grout mix is suggested; a certain standard should be specified for changing the grout to thicker mix by skipping the intermediate grade; the standard for ending the grouting should be relaxed. In current grouting standard, some terms should be complemented for contact grouting of steel penstock and spiral case and for plug grouting of circular-anchor hole.展开更多

文摘To study the relationship between grouting effect and grouting factors, three factors (seven parameters) directionless pressure and small cycle grouting model experiment on sandy gravel was done, which was designed according to uniform design method. The grouting pressure is the main factor to influence grouting diffusing radius, and the water cement ratio is the main factor to influence grouted sandy gravel compressing strength.

文摘Ground surface displacement caused by grouting was calculated with stochastic medium theory. Besides, the results show that ground surface uplift displacement decreases notably with increasing depth of the grouting cavity but it increases with increasing diffusion radius of grout and increasing grouting pressure.

文摘Grouting is an effective method to improve the integrity and stability of fractured rocks that surround deep roadways. After years of research and practice, various theories and a complete set of grouting technologies for deep roadways with fractured rocks have been developed and are widely applied in Chinese coal mining production. This paper systematically summarizes and analyzes the research results concerning the theory, design, materials, processes, and equipment for the grouting and reinforcement of fractured rocks surrounding deep roadways.Specifically,in terms of grouting methods,pregrouting,groutingwhile-excavation,and postgrouting methods are explored;in terms of grouting theory, backfill grouting, compaction grouting, infiltration grouting, and fracture grouting theories are studied. In addition, this paper also studies grouting borehole arrangement,water-cement ratio, grouting pressure, grouting volume, grout diffusion radius, and other grouting parameters and their determination methods. On this basis, this paper explores the physical and mechanical properties of organic and organic-inorganic composite grouting materials, and assess grouting reinforcement quality testing methods and instruments.Taken as the field cases, the application of pregrouting in front of heading faces,groutingwhile-excavation,and postgrouting in the Kouzidong coal mine are then introduced, and the effects of the grouting reinforcements are evaluated. This paper proposes a development direction for grouting technology based on problems existing in the grouting reinforcement of fractured rocks surrounding deep roadways.
文摘The physical and mechanical properties of wet-milling ultra-fine grouting cement were studied, and its microstructure was observed through modern instrumentation analysis such as scanning electronic microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction and Hg-intrusion micromeritics. The experimental results indicate that wet-milling ultra-fine cement possesses high rheological properties and groutability. It can be filled densely in cracks of rock and hydrate fully, which may endow hydrated cement with high mechanical strength.Main hydration products of wet-milling ultra-fine cement are poorly crystalline C-S-H(Ⅰ),acicular AFt and plank-shape Ca(OH)_2.The dense crystal-network structure can be formed in the rock gaps filled with cement paste, but some weak regions exist owing to Ca(OH)_2.The features of micro-pore structure of hydrated wet-milling ultra-fine cement are few big harmful pores, abundant harmless micro pores and little most possible pore radius.

文摘The fractured surrounding rocks of roadways pose major challenges to safe mining.Grouting has often been used to reinforce the surrounding rocks to mitigate the safety risks associated with fractured rocks. The aim of this study is to develop highly efficient composite ultrafine cement(CUC)grouts to reinforce the roadway in fractured surrounding rocks. The materials used are ultrafine cement(UC),ultrafine fly ash(UF),ultrafine slag(US),and additives(superplasticizer[SUP],aluminate ultrafine expansion agent[AUA],gypsum, and retarder). The fluidity, bleeding, shrinkage, setting time, chemical composition, microstructure, degree of hydration, and mechanical property of grouting materials were evaluated in this study. Also,a suitable and effective CUC grout mixture was used to reinforce the roadway in the fractured surrounding rock. The results have shown that the addition of UF and US reduces the plastic viscosity of CUC,and the best fluidity can be obtained by adding 40%UF and 10%US.Since UC and UF particles are small, the pozzolanic effect of UF promotes the hydration reaction, which is conductive to the stability of CUC grouts. In addition, fine particles of UC,UF,and US can effectively fill the pores, while the volumetric expansion of AUA and gypsum decreases the pores and thus affects the microstructure of the solidified grout. The compressive test results have shown that the addition of specific amounts of UF and US can ameliorate the mechanical properties of CUC grouts. Finally, the CUC22‐8 grout was used to reinforce the No.20322 belt roadway. The results of numerical simulation and field monitoring have indicated that grouting can efficaciously reinforce the surrounding rock of the roadway. In this research, high‐performance CUC grouts were developed for surrounding rock reinforcement of underground engineering by utilizing UC and some additives.
文摘The performances of dry grinding fine cement (DFC) in grouting procedure were experimentally studied. The measurement of its fineness and simulated test for injectability showed that this DFC could be used to inject rock mass with micro fissure. In order to improve the grouting quality, the water cement ratio and discarding time of slurry should be controlled precisely. If the water cement ratio is over 2∶1 in slurry that is made from DFC,it is not suitable to grout. Finally, the influence of different mixing times on strength of hydrated cement made from the DFC is explained by microstructure analysis with SEM.
文摘Based on the practices of construction supervision to cement grouting at the reservoir emptying and power tunnels of the TSQ stage Ⅰ Hydropower station, some issues on quality control of cement grouting of hydraulic tunnel are discussed, and corresponding suggestions are put forward for revision of current standard (SL62-94). In current grouting standard, some terms should be complemented for contact grouting of steel penstock and spiral case and for plug grouting of circular-anchor hole.

文摘Deep metal mines are often mined using the high-level pillars with subsequent cementation backfilling(HLSCB)mining method. At the design stage,it is therefore important to have a reasonable method for determining the shear strength of the high-level pillars(i.e.cohesion and internal friction angle)when they are supported by cemented backfilling. In this study,a formula was derived for the upper limit of the confining pressure σ3max on a high-level pillar supported by cemented backfilling in a deep metal mine.A new method of estimating the shear strength of such pillars was then proposed based on the Hoek eBrown failure criterion. Our analysis indicates that the horizontal stress σhh acting on the cemented backfill pillar can be simplified by expressing it as a constant value.A reasonable and effective value for σ3max can then be determined. The value of s3max predicted using the proposed method is generally less than 3 MPa.Within this range, the shear strength of the high-level pillar is accurately calculated using the equivalent MohreCoulomb theory. The proposed method can effectively avoid the calculation of inaccurate shear strength values for the high-level pillars when the original HoekeBrown criterion is used in the presence of large confining pressures,i.e.the situation in which the cohesion value is too large and the friction angle is too small can effectively be avoided. The proposed method is applied to a deep metal mine in China that is being excavated using the HLSCB method. The shear strength parameters of the high-level pillars obtained using the proposed method were input in the numerical simulations. The numerical results show that the recommended level heights and sizes of the high-level pillars and rooms in the mine are rational.

文摘Jet grouting is one of the most popular soil improvement techniques, but its design usually involves great uncertainties that can lead to economic cost overruns in construction projects. The high dispersion in the properties of the improved material leads to designers assuming a conservative, arbitrary and unjustified strength, which is even sometimes subjected to the results of the test fields. The present paper presents an approach for prediction of the uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)of jet grouting columns based on the analysis of several machine learning algorithms on a database of 854 results mainly collected from different research papers. The selected machine learning model(extremely randomized trees)relates the soil type and various parameters of the technique to the value of the compressive strength.Despite the complex mechanism that surrounds the jet grouting process, evidenced by the high dispersion and low correlation of the variables studied, the trained model allows to optimally predict the values of compressive strength with a significant improvement with respect to the existing works.Consequently, this work proposes for the first time a reliable and easily applicable approach for estimation of the compressive strength of jet grouting columns.

文摘Phosphogypsum(PG),a hard-to-dissipate by-product of the phosphorus fertilizer production industry, places strain on the biogeochemical cycles and ecosystem functions of storage sites. This pervasive problem is already widespread worldwide and requires careful stewardship. In this study,we review the presence of potentially toxic elements(PTEs)in PG and describe their associations with soil properties, anthropogenic activities, and surrounding organisms. Then,we review different ex-/in-situ solutions for promoting the sustainable management of PG,with an emphasis on in-situ cemented paste backfill, which offers a cost-effective and highly scalable opportunity to advance the value-added recovery of PG.However, concerns related to the PTEs'retention capacity and long-term effectiveness limit the implementation of this strategy.Furthermore, given that the large-scale demand for ordinary Portland cement from this conventional option has resulted in significant CO_(2) emissions, the technology has recently undergone additional scrutiny to meet the climate mitigation ambition of the Paris Agreement and China's Carbon Neutrality Economy. Therefore,we discuss the ways by which we can integrate innovative strategies, including supplementary cementitious materials, alternative binder solutions,CO_(2) mineralization,CO_(2) curing, and optimization of the supply chain for the profitability and sustainability of PG remediation. However,to maximize the co-benefits in environmental, social, and economic, future research must bridge the gap between the feasibility of expanding these advanced pathways and the multidisciplinary needs.

文摘Fracture grouting is widely used for building foundation reinforcement, however the underpinning mechanisms are still not clear.Using numerical results about a single-hole fracture grouting process as a basis,a model composed of soil and grouting veins has been created to analyze the reinforcement mechanism. The influence weights of the grouting vein skeleton and compaction effect have been studied, thereby obtaining relevant information on the compressive modulus of the considered composite soil. The research results show that the compaction effect plays a leading role in the soil fracture grouting reinforcement. The grouting pressure, the hardened grouting vein modulus, and the shape of the grouting veins all influence the compressive modulus of the composite soil.
