Furthermore, we know that teachers' beliefs on teaching and learning play an important role in class. During the process of learning and teaching, a teacher's own learning from relevant books on education and learning helps a lot in increase teachers' awareness about English teaching and learning, and improving the classroom teaching. In this paper three effective applications of the results of the research of teacher development are introduced, which shows that a teacher is a decisive factor in the classroom setting and the research and learning about teacher development is useful for a teacher to improve himself or herself as a teacher. 展开更多

This study investigates the impact of Teacher Professional Development(TPD)on teaching quality and student learning outcomes.Utilizing a mixed-methods approach,the research draws on quantitative data from standardized test scores and qualitative insights from teacher interviews and classroom observations.The findings indicate a strong positive correlation between TPD,as measured by self-assessment and peer evaluation,and improvements in teaching practices.These enhancements in teaching quality are further shown to have a significant impact on student learning outcomes,including academic achievement,critical thinking,and engagement.The study also presents case studies that highlight the transformative potential of TPD in various educational contexts.Limitations include the generalizability of the sample and the correlational nature of the study design.The research concludes with policy implications,emphasizing the need for increased investment in TPD,customization of TPD programs,and the promotion of a collaborative culture within schools.Future research directions are suggested to further explore the long-term effects of TPD and the most effective models for professional development. 展开更多

目的探究以实践应用型人才培养为导向的多学科教学模式(MDT)联合以问题为基础的教学(PBL)+案例教学法(CBL)模式,在放疗科住院医师规范化培训(规培)教学中的应用效果,突出其教学创新改革特点,增强学生综合素质。方法纳入2018年10月-2021... 目的探究以实践应用型人才培养为导向的多学科教学模式(MDT)联合以问题为基础的教学(PBL)+案例教学法(CBL)模式,在放疗科住院医师规范化培训(规培)教学中的应用效果,突出其教学创新改革特点,增强学生综合素质。方法纳入2018年10月-2021年10月于我院放疗科规培的80位住院医师为本次研究对象。将所有研究对象分为研究组(n=40,采用MDT联合PBL+CBL多轨教学模式)和对照组(n=40,采用传统授课模式(LBL)教学)。收集两组规培住院医师的一般资料(年龄、性别以及入科考试成绩),再统计分析培训后两组规培住院医师在理论知识、病例分析和技能操作上总得分。对两组规培住院医师进行综合素质评价,主要分为自学能力、理解能力、思维能力、实践能力以及学习兴趣度。满分为10分,分数越高综合素质越强。以问卷形式对两组规培住院医师进行教学课程满意度的评价,分为非常满意、一般满意、不满意,计算总满意度。结果研究组理论知识、病例分析、技能操作得分以及总分均显著高于对照组(P<0.05);研究组自学能力、理解能力、思维能力、实践能力、学习兴趣度得分均高于对照组(P<0.05);研究组总体满意度评价效果显著(P<0.05)。结论在肿瘤放疗的教学中,以实践应用型人才培养为导向的MDT联合PBL+CBL模式可极大地增强规培住院医师学习的积极性和兴趣,明显提高教学成果和强化临床医师综合素质。 展开更多

Cooperative learning is a pedagogical approach of great interest to some foreign language teachers in tertiary education in China. Cooperative learning is recognized as a well-known student-centered teaching method in the mainstream educational approaches ranging from kindergarten to tertiary education in other parts of the world. However, it is still not seen as an important method to use in China today. This paper briefly reviews and summarizes the major achievements as well as setbacks of FLT research in the past 60 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China. It also addresses some important issues in the history of the development and the prospect of FLT, and the career development of FL teachers in China. Moreover, it presents argumentations in the remarkable exploratory process of educational theories of FLT with Chinese characteristics. It concludes that more and more Chinese FL teachers will implement cooperative learning in their classroom activities and enrich the connotations of this approach. 展开更多

Quality education is one of the pillars in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.This overall goal can be connected to some general trends affecting education in the information age.We argue that education is key to the future quality of human life and the sustainability of the world.Generally,education is being transformed in both formal and informal learning contexts by new digital technologies.Overall,some of these major innovations and how they are changing education can be summarized into the following aspects:1)our educational aims and objectives;2)educational ecologies and contexts of learning;3)the processes of learning;4)the processes of teaching;and 5)educational governance and policy.Meanwhile,we note some of the potential risks and downsides of these technology trends.From the sustainable perspective,our review points to a great potential for educational reform,but it can only be achieved if we are willing to rethink and even abandon some of our traditional ways of doing things in education. 展开更多

Student engagement in a clinical learning environment is a vital component in the curricula of pre-licensure nursing students, providing an opportunity to combine cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills. This paper is significant in Arab world as there is a lack of knowledge, attitude and practice of student involvement in the new clinical learning environment. The purpose of this review article is to describe the experiences and perspectives of the nurse educator in facilitating pre-licensure nursing students’ engagement in the new clinical learning environment. The review suggests that novice students prefer actual engagement in clinical learning facilitated through diversity experiences, shared learning opportunities, student-faculty interaction and active learning. They expressed continuous supervision, ongoing feedback, interpersonal relationship and personal support from nurse educators useful in the clinical practice. However, the value of this review lies in a better understanding of what constitutes quality clinical learning environment from the students’ perspective of engagement in evidence-based nursing, reflective practice, e-learning and simulated case scenarios facilitated by the nurse educators. This review is valuable in planning and implementing innovative clinical and educational experiences for improving the quality of the clinical teaching-learning environment. 展开更多

How to deal with the teaching methods by using computer network to build a pluralistic system of interactive teaching for college English curriculum is a serious problem. This paper combines the characteristics of college English teaching, exploring the teaching ways of teaching mode and multi-interaction network of college English. Besides, it also reviews the evidence which is based on independent learning theory and several learning models, analyses the relationship between the advantages of computer network teaching and learning ability of students and enhances the benefits between teaching in practice and computer networks teaching.
