Population genetics of the left-eyed flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, including natural and cultured stocks distributed in the coastal waters near Qingdao of eastern maritime China, was analyzed in allozyme and RAPD. The results showed that among total 29 gene loci of 15 isozymes, 9 and 7 were po- lymorphic in natural and cultured stocks, respectively. The status of genetic diversity in P. olivaceus is low in terms of polymorphic loci in chi-square test and genetic departure index of Hardy-Weinberg equi- librium. More alleles in IDHP, CAT, GDH and Ldh-C allozymes were found in the fish, which could be used as markers in assortive breeding and distinguishing stock, population or species evolution. Total 88 and 86 RAPD bands ranging from 200 to 2 500 bp were recognized individually in average of 7.8–8.0 bands per primer. The genetic diversity in cultured stock is lower than that in natural ones showing an ob- viously decreasing genetic divergence. Therefore, effective countermeasures must be taken to protect ge- netic resources of marine cultured fishes. The 2 markers have their own pros and cons. Combining the 2 markers to investigate the genetic variation of populations is suggested. The results provide basic data of this flounder and they are useful for studying genetic improvement and genetic resources of the fish. 展开更多

To compare the flesh quality of large yellow croaker cultured with three different modes, enclosure culture(EC), cage culture with feeding trash fish(CCF) and cage culture with feeding formula diet(CCD), thirty six fish individuals of EC(484.6 ± 79.8 g), CCF(432.7 ± 87.9 g) and CCD(416.9 ± 49.5 g) were sampled to measure body color, flesh water holding capacity, flesh proximate composition, amino acids and fatty acids composition, and collagen and inosinic acid contents. The analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the yellowness of skin and the contents of crude protein and inosinic acid between CCD and EC(P > 0.05), and the two modes showed higher values than CCF(P < 0.05). Most of the amino acids(AA) in flesh were higher in EC than in CCF(P < 0.05), but CCD showed no difference in AA composition from the other two modes(P > 0.05). EC and CCD had higher contents of collagen, free AA and lower drip loss than CC(P < 0.05). In polyunsaturated fatty acids, EC showed significantly higher levels of C20:5 n-3 and C22:6 n-3 than CCF and CCD(P < 0.05), but CCD had significantly higher C18:2 n-6 than CCF and EC(P < 0.05). In conclusion, the flesh quality of CCD fish is similar to EC fish, and these two modes have better flesh quality than CCF. 展开更多

Investigation of the Acceptability of Cultured Meat in University Students

Background: Over the past 20 years, cultured meat has drawn a lot of public attention as a potential solution to issues with animal husbandry, including inadequate use of natural sources, improper animal welfare practices, and possible risks to public health and safety. The novel method of producing meat through culture reduces the need for animals to produce muscle fiber, thereby obviating the necessity for animal slaughter. Apart from its ethical advantages, cultured meat presents a possible way to fulfill the expanding need for food among growing populations. The purpose of this research was to find out whether Turkish students would be willing to pay for and accept cultured meat. Technique: Method: 371 university students who willingly consented to fill out a questionnaire and provide demographic data make up the research sample. Questions from previous studies on the acceptability of cultured meat were compiled to create the survey. The research’s data collection took place in March and April of 2022. The research was completed in June 2022 after the data had been processed and analyzed. Results: The results showed that the majority of participants were female and had omnivorous eating habits. Based on the results of the Bonferroni correction test, students with a higher intention to purchase and consume cultured meat were those who received economics and business education. Students with two years of university education had a higher overall survey score than those with four years of education (p < 0.05). Furthermore, it is discovered that there is a negative correlation between the participants’ ages and their Factor 2 (using cultured meat as an alternative to industrial meat) and Factor 3 (consuming and purchasing it) section points (r = -109, p = 0.036) (r = -0.121, p = 0.019). In conclusion, university students generally have a negative outlook on health-related issues, such as eating cultured meat as an alternative. 展开更多

Effect of Butternut Squash (Cucurbita moschata) Seed Powder on the Chemical and Rheological Properties of Stirred Cultured Camel Milk and Yoghurt

Research shows that producing fermented camel milk is hard because of the milk’s inability to form a firm coagulum, attributed to low levels of κ-casein and ꞵ-lactoglobulin and the large casein micelle size, leading to a weak network of casein formation. In an effort to address this issue, researchers turned to corn starch as a thickening agent, discovering that a concentration of 2.0% effectively improved the viscosity and significantly reduced syneresis in stirred camel milk yoghurt and cultured camel milk. This study explores alternatives to corn starch, focusing on butternut squash seeds as a promising substitute due to their hydrocolloid composition. By incorporating butternut squash (Cucurbita moschata) seed powder (BSSP) as a thickening agent, this study aimed at enhancing the chemical and rheological properties of stirred camel milk yoghurt and cultured camel milk. Fermented camel milk was prepared using 4 litres of camel milk, 2% starter cultures (thermophilic culture for yoghurt and mesophilic aromatic culture for stirred cultured camel milk) and BSSP 0.0% (negative control), 0.4%, 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6%, 2.0% mixed with 0.4% gelatin. 2.0% corn starch mixed with 0.4% gelatin was used as a standard for comparison. Results showed that increasing the BSSP level significantly (p < 0.05) decreased the moisture content while increasing the total solid content of stirred fermented camel milk products. There was an increase in ash content with an increase in BSSP levels. There was a significant (p < 0.05) reduction in the pH, with an increase in BSSP levels in stirred fermented camel milk samples. Increasing the concentration of BSSP from 0.4% to 2.0% resulted in a significant (p < 0.05) increase in viscosity and a reduction in syneresis of stirred camel milk yoghurt and stirred cultured camel milk samples. This study demonstrated that BSSP effectively enhances the viscosity, reduces syneresis and increases acidity in stirred fermented camel milk products during storage. 展开更多

目的应用超声造影(contrast-enhanced ultrasound,CEUS)检测急性脑梗死患者颈动脉斑块内新生血管的定量指标,初步探讨斑块环境压力对CEUS定量参数的影响。方法急性缺血性大动脉粥样硬化性脑梗(large artery atherosclerosis stroke,LAAS... 目的应用超声造影(contrast-enhanced ultrasound,CEUS)检测急性脑梗死患者颈动脉斑块内新生血管的定量指标,初步探讨斑块环境压力对CEUS定量参数的影响。方法急性缺血性大动脉粥样硬化性脑梗(large artery atherosclerosis stroke,LAAS)患者62例入组脑梗组。选取同期住院且年龄、性别匹配,无心脑血管事件发生史的动脉硬化患者54例作为对照组。选取颈动脉优势斑块行CEUS,脱机定量分析获取斑块强度均值(the mean of time-intensity curve,TIC-M)、拟合曲线峰值(fitting curve-peak,FC-P)和拟合曲线下面积(fitting curver-area under the curve,FC-AUC)。采用超声射频技术动脉僵硬度分析软件(quality arterial stiffness,QAS)获取斑块局部收缩压(local pressure-systolic,Loc Psys)和局部舒张压(local pressure-diastolic,Loc Pdia)。参数与斑块局部压力的相关性采用Pearson相关分析。结果脑梗组与对照组相比,Loc Psys和Loc Pdia差异均无统计学意义。在脑梗组,患者颈动脉斑块造影参数TIC-M、PC-P和FC-AUC均大于对照组(P<0.05)。TIC-M与Loc Psys和Loc Pdia呈负相关(r=-0.470和-0.682,P均<0.05)。FC-P与Loc Psys和Loc Pdia呈负相关(r=-0.480和-0.691,P均<0.05)。FC-AUC与Loc Pdia呈负相关(r=0.493,P<0.05)。结论颈动脉斑块内新生血管的CEUS定量指标与斑块周围压力密切相关,CEUS评估易损斑块应考虑其周围压力的影响。 展开更多

[Method] The Abies beshanzuensis M.H.Wu were treated by water (CK), 10 mg/L ABT+ water, 10 mg/L IAA+ water, 10 mg/L ABT+ hoagland solution, 10 mg/L IAA+ hoagland solution, then the rooting process was observed and the formation rate of callus, rooting rate, number of rooting, and root length were investigated and analyzed. [Result] ABT and IAA had obvious influences on callus induction, rooting rate and the number of root of Abies beshanzuensis M.H.Wu by water culture, so they were suitable to be used in water propagation of Abies beshanzuensis M.H.Wu. The treatments of phytohormones had no regular influences on the longest root length and average root length. The nutrient solutions would not generate obvious influence on propagation of Abies beshanzuensis M.H.Wu at firstly stage, but they generated influence on root growth after rooting. [Conclusion] The research provided new ideas for propagation of Abies beshanzuensis M.H.Wu, which could make it out of endangerment situation quickly. 展开更多

[ Method ] With the different parts of Astragalus membranaceus Bge. var. mongholicus ( Bge. ) Hsiao aseptic seedling as explants ( leaves, cotyledons, hypocotyls) induced callus, and cotyledon and hypocotyls taken by the method of radiation mutation were studied. [ Result]The results showed that the three explants had relatively high callus induced rate in the medium which respectively made up of MS +6-BA 2.0 mg/L + NAA2.0 mg/L, LS +6-BA2.0 mg/L +NAA0.1 mg/L, MS + 6-BA2.0 rng/L + NAA2.0 rag/L; the optimum mutation time of hypocotyls and cotyledons was 15 minutes; the growth of the callus induced from hypocotyls would be better as the mutation time increased, but when it reached a certain time the growth would be weaken, the induction rate also would be reduced. 目的:探讨彩色多普勒血流成像(CDFI)联合超声造影(CEUS)检查在甲状腺结节诊断中的应用效果。方法:回顾性分析135例甲状腺结节患者的临床资料,均经穿刺活检确诊。其中恶性甲状腺结节患者68例(96枚结节)为恶性组,良性甲状腺结节患者67例(9... 目的:探讨彩色多普勒血流成像(CDFI)联合超声造影(CEUS)检查在甲状腺结节诊断中的应用效果。方法:回顾性分析135例甲状腺结节患者的临床资料,均经穿刺活检确诊。其中恶性甲状腺结节患者68例(96枚结节)为恶性组,良性甲状腺结节患者67例(98枚结节)为良性组。两组均行CDFI、CEUS检查。比较两组的病灶血流分级、血流形态、增强模式和增强强度情况,比较CDFI、CEUS单独检查诊断和二者联合检查诊断的灵敏度、特异度和准确度。结果:恶性组血流分级为Ⅱ/Ⅲ级者、血流形态为Ⅲ~Ⅴ型者、增强模式为弥漫性整体增强、增强强度为高增强者均明显多于良性组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);CDFI和CEUS联合检查的灵敏度和准确度均明显大于CDFI和CEUS单项检查,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:CDFI和CEUS检查均为临床鉴别良恶性甲状腺结节的有效手段,二者联合检查能有效提高甲状腺结节诊断的灵敏度和准确度。 展开更多

Our results showed that tTG immunostaining was positive in the cytoplasm and rarely in the nucleus of cultured BTMC. No immunostaining was seen in the negative control. Moreover, a single RT-PCR amplified product whose sequence and size were in accordance with our known parameters was obtained. The expression of tTG in cultured BTMC was confirmed in protein and at mRNA level. BMTC is available more readily for the investigation of the relationship between tTG and primary open-angle glaucoma. 展开更多

目的评价常规超声联合超声造影(CEUS)的BI-RADS评分系统在乳腺肿块风险评估中的诊断效能。方法采用单纯随机抽样,选取2019年9月至2021年6月间安徽省某三甲医院诊治的90例(102例肿块)女性乳腺肿块患者作为研究对象,均行常规超声和CEUS检... 目的评价常规超声联合超声造影(CEUS)的BI-RADS评分系统在乳腺肿块风险评估中的诊断效能。方法采用单纯随机抽样,选取2019年9月至2021年6月间安徽省某三甲医院诊治的90例(102例肿块)女性乳腺肿块患者作为研究对象,均行常规超声和CEUS检查,并由2名经验丰富的超声医师对其分别进行BI-RADS评分分级诊断;绘制CEUS时间-强度曲线,比较造影后增强开始时间、达峰时间和峰值强度;统计常规超声、CEUS检查以及两者联合诊断对乳腺肿块风险评估的诊断结果,以病理诊断结果为金标准,比较三种诊断方案Kappa值;绘制受试者工作特征曲线(ROC)比较三种诊断方案的灵敏度、特异度、准确度、假阴性率、假阳性率及Youden指数。结果CEUS检查乳腺恶性肿块的峰值强度明显高于良性肿块,而增强开始时间和达峰时间则显著低于良性,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);常规超声、CEUS检查以及两者联合诊断与病理诊断结果的Kappa值分别为0.624、0.652和0.707,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),其中联合诊断的一致性最好;联合诊断的灵敏度、准确度、Youden指数均高于常规超声和CEUS检查,假阴性率则显著低于常规超声和CEUS检查;常规超声和CEUS检查的ROC曲线下面积(AUC)分别为0.804、0.825,均低于联合诊断(AUC为0.877)。结论常规超声联合CEUS的BI-RADS评分分级诊断可提高诊断的一致性,且真实性更高,显著降低了假阴性率,提高了诊断的灵敏度、准确度,对乳腺肿块的风险评估诊断效能更高,具有较高临床诊断价值。 展开更多

比较CEUS联合SWE技术评估在乳腺良恶性肿瘤鉴别中的应用。方法:抽取本院2020年1月至2021年3月收诊的疑似乳腺肿瘤患者40例,均开展超声造影检查(CEUS)+SWE(剪切波弹性成像)检查,分析检测结果与术后组织病理检查结果或穿刺活检组织病理检... 比较CEUS联合SWE技术评估在乳腺良恶性肿瘤鉴别中的应用。方法:抽取本院2020年1月至2021年3月收诊的疑似乳腺肿瘤患者40例,均开展超声造影检查(CEUS)+SWE(剪切波弹性成像)检查,分析检测结果与术后组织病理检查结果或穿刺活检组织病理检查结果的区别,评估诊断价值。结果:结果:乳腺组织病理结果显示,检查却诊断为BI-RADSⅢ、Ⅳ级肿块的患者共26例,占比65.00%(26/40),良性乳腺肿块患者则检出14例,占比35.00%(14/40)。SWE技术共检出BI-RADSⅢ、Ⅳ级乳腺肿块21例,其中真阳性为18例;CEUS技术下共检测出BI-RADSⅢ、Ⅳ级乳腺肿块25例,其中真阳性为21例;CEUS联合SWE技术联合诊断下敏感度与准确度分别为96.15%与92.86%均高于单项检测数值,数据比较有意义(P<0.05)。结论:在乳腺良恶性肿瘤鉴别中运用CEUS联合SWE技术评估可提升患者乳腺肿瘤检测效能,减低漏诊例数,于灵敏度及准确度提升有显著增益效果,便于后续诊疗,可推广。 展开更多

目的建立联合经直肠超声(TRUS)常规二维模型(B型)和超声造影(CEUS)预测前列腺外周带病变良恶性的机器学习模型。方法回顾性分析了109例前列腺外周带病灶,良性45例,恶性64例,均以超声引导下靶向穿刺活检病理作为金标准。使用Sonoliver软... 目的建立联合经直肠超声(TRUS)常规二维模型(B型)和超声造影(CEUS)预测前列腺外周带病变良恶性的机器学习模型。方法回顾性分析了109例前列腺外周带病灶,良性45例,恶性64例,均以超声引导下靶向穿刺活检病理作为金标准。使用Sonoliver软件获得病变处造影的时间-强度曲线,得到以下参数:峰值强度(IMAX)、上升时间(RT)、达峰时间(TTP)和平均渡越时间(MTT)。收集患者的相关危险因素,包括年龄、总血清前列腺特异性抗原(tPSA)、游离前列腺特异性抗原(fPSA)、游离/总前列腺特异性抗原(f/tPSA)、前列腺体积和前列腺特异性抗原密度(PSAD)。分别运用特征相关性分析和多元Logistic回归进行影像组学的特征筛选和建模。结果最终筛选出32个特征,建立了3种影像组学相关诊断模型(B模型、CEUS模型、B-CEUS联合模型),得到3种不同的影像组学评分。其中,年龄、PSAD和RT是预测前列腺外周带病灶良恶性的独立危险因素(P<0.05)。B模型、CEUS型、B-CEUS联合型、危险因素模型、危险因素-影像组学联合模型的诊断准确性分别为0.75、0.71、0.73、0.70、0.84;诊断的曲线下面积(AUC)分别为0.79、0.75、0.84、0.79、0.91。危险因素-影像组学联合模型在验证集中有显著优势(P<0.05)。结论联合TRUS和CEUS及相关危险因素的机器学习模型可以较好的预测前列腺外周带病变的良恶性,对临床诊断有一定价值。 展开更多
