Based on the experimental data, the mechanism and kinetic model of cyclohexane pyrolysis reaction were proposed. The kinetic analysis shows that overall conversion of cyclohexane is a first order reaction, of which the rate constant increased from 0.0086 to 0.0225 to 0.0623 s-1 with the increase of temperature from 873 to 923 to 973 K, and the apparent activation energy was determined to be 155.0±1.0 kJ mol-1. The mechanism suggests that the cyclohexane is consumed by four processes:the homolysis of C-C bond (Path I), the homolysis of C-H bond (Path II) in reaction chain initia- tion, the H-abstraction of various radicals from the feed molecules in reaction chain propagation (Path III), and the process associated with coke formation (Path IV). The reaction path probability (RPP) ratio of XPath I:XPath II : XPath III : XPath IV was 0.5420:0.0045:0.3897:0.0638 at 873 K, and 0.4336 : 0.0061 : 0.4885 : 0.0718 at 973 K, respectively.展开更多

The worn surface morphologies of rubbing area between pin, bush and roller are also analyzed based on scanning electron microscope. The results show that the main wear mechanism of automotive engine chain is fatigue wear, and its failure mechanism is the forming, extending and flaking of cracks on top layer of pin and bush. In addition, the material, hot-treatment method and shaping technique for roller have a great influence upon the resistance to multi-impact. Ensuring sufficient strength and plasticity of roller, as well as adopting suitable shaping technique are the effective method to increase its resistance to multi-impact.展开更多

Branched chains with actuation redundancy are synthesized for eliminating interior singularity of 3-translational and 1-rotational(3T1R) parallel mechanisms. Guided by the discriminance method of hybrid screw group according to Grassmann line geometry, all the possibilities are listed for the occurrence of interior singularities in 3T1R parallel mechanism. Based on the linear relevance of screw system and the principles of eliminating parallel mechanism singularity with actuation redundancy, different types of branched chains with actuation redundancy are synthesized systematically to indicate the layout and the number of the branched chainsinterior with actuation redundancy. A general method is proposed for the configuration synthesis of the branched chains with actuation redundancy of the redundant parallel mechanism, and it builds a solid foundation for the subsequent performance optimization of the redundant actuation parallel mechanism.展开更多
In the process of kinematic chain type synthesis,it is necessary to solve the problems of isomorphism identification and rigid subchain detection.The problem of rigid subchain detection can be reduced to subgraph isom...In the process of kinematic chain type synthesis,it is necessary to solve the problems of isomorphism identification and rigid subchain detection.The problem of rigid subchain detection can be reduced to subgraph isomorphism problem,which belongs to NPC problem.This paper introduces the properties,detection methods,algorithm time complexity and program code of rigid subchain of kinematic chain.The detection codes of rigid subchains with different number of links are different.It is necessary to modify the for-loop nesting times of program code according to the change of the link number,so the code reusability is very low.In view of this,the recursive pseudo code of rigid subchain detection algorithm is proposed for the first time,which makes the program can be directly used for rigid subchain detection of any number of links,improves the reusability of the code,and provides a certain reference for the realization and optimization of computer programs for NPC problems in other disciplines.A rigid subchain detection software of kinematic chain was developed,and the rigid subchain detection process of a 16-link kinematic chain was successfully realized in the software.展开更多

A new biped robot with a triangle configuration is presented and it is a planar closed chain mechanism. The scalability of three sides of the triangle is realized by three actuated prismatic joints. The three vertexes...A new biped robot with a triangle configuration is presented and it is a planar closed chain mechanism. The scalability of three sides of the triangle is realized by three actuated prismatic joints. The three vertexes of the triangle are centers of three passive revolute joints coincidently. The biped mechanism for straight walking is proposed and its walking principle and mobility are explained. The static stability and the height and span of one step are analyzed. Kinematic analysis is performed to plan the gaits of walking on an even floor and going upstairs. A prototype is developed and experiments are carried out to validate the straight walking gait. Two additional revolute joints are added to form a modified biped robot which can follow the instruction of turning around. The turning ability is verified by experiments. As a new member of biped robots, its triangle configuration is used to impart geometry knowledge. Because of its high stiffness, some potential applications are on the way.展开更多
