This study proposes a color image steganalysis algorithm that extracts highdimensional rich model features from the residuals of channel differences.First,the advantages of features extracted from channel differences ...This study proposes a color image steganalysis algorithm that extracts highdimensional rich model features from the residuals of channel differences.First,the advantages of features extracted from channel differences are analyzed,and it shown that features extracted in this manner should be able to detect color stego images more effectively.A steganalysis feature extraction method based on channel differences is then proposed,and used to improve two types of typical color image steganalysis features.The improved features are combined with existing color image steganalysis features,and the ensemble classifiers are trained to detect color stego images.The experimental results indicate that,for WOW and S-UNIWARD steganography,the improved features clearly decreased the average test errors of the existing features,and the average test errors of the proposed algorithm is smaller than those of the existing color image steganalysis algorithms.Specifically,when the payload is smaller than 0.2 bpc,the average test error decreases achieve 4%and 3%.展开更多

A dual channel difference (DCD) method is applied to detect nighttime sea fog/stratus over the Huanghai Sea using the infrared (IR) data of shortwave (3.5-4.0 μm) and longwave (10.3-11.3 μm) channels from th...A dual channel difference (DCD) method is applied to detect nighttime sea fog/stratus over the Huanghai Sea using the infrared (IR) data of shortwave (3.5-4.0 μm) and longwave (10.3-11.3 μm) channels from the Multi-functional Transport Satellite (MTSAT)-IR, i.e., shortwave minus longwave brightness temperature difference (SLTD). Twenty-four sea fog events over the Huanghai Sea during March to July of 2006 and 2007 are chosen to determine a suitable value of SLTD for nighttime sea fog/stratus detection, and it is found that the value of-5.5-2.5℃ can be taken as a criterion. Two case examples of sea fog events are especially demonstrated in detail utilizing the criterion, and the results show that the derived sea fog/stratus coverage is quite reasonable. This coverage information is very helpful to analyze the formation and evolution of sea fog/stratus during night and can provide sea fog researchers with observational evidences for model results verification. However, more efforts are needed to further obtain vertical extent information of sea fog/stratus and attempt to discriminate between sea fog and stratus.展开更多
With the rise of the Internet and E-commence,it has become common for consumers in the book,clothing,electronic appliances,furniture and cosmetic industries to engage in a phenomenon termed"store-browsing-web-pur...With the rise of the Internet and E-commence,it has become common for consumers in the book,clothing,electronic appliances,furniture and cosmetic industries to engage in a phenomenon termed"store-browsing-web-purchasing"(SBWP).These are customers who tend to acquire service and information about particular products at traditional(brick and motar)retail stores but purchase them online at a lower price.This creates new issues and new perspectives to the science of law and economics.This paper addresses the issue of SBWP based on the industrial organization theory(especially the vertical dual-pricing system).It then endeavors to demonstrate the three"jump-dealing"theorems of SBWP from analyzing the business models,consumer purchasing patterns and price differences in distributing channels.Furthermore,we extrapolate the theory of jump-dealing and resale price maintenance(RPM)offsetting based on previous findings.The main conclusions are the following:if a company's RPM strategies substantially eliminate competition,then jump-dealing behavior from consumers shouM be encouraged.Conversely,if this jump-dealing behavior from consumers brings about anti-competition and free riding problems,then a company's RPM strategies should be exempted.展开更多
