Using the method of integration within ordered product(IWOP) of operators we find that it is a kind of one- and two-mode combinatorial squeezed state. Its application in evaluating the quantum fluctuation of photon number reveals: the stronger the squeezing is, the larger a fluctuation appears. The second-order degree of coherence of SCL is also deduced which shows that SCL is classic. The new thermal vacuum state also helps to derive the Wigner function of SCL.展开更多

The new differential equation for determining the parameter of the density operator p(t) is derived and the solution of f for the damping and gaining processes are studied separately. Our approach is direct and the result is concise since it is not necessary for us to know the Kraus operators in advance.展开更多

On the other hand topology’s and geometry’s simplest and most basic elements are random Cantor sets. It follows then that nonlinear dynamics i.e. deterministic chaos and fractal geometry is the best mathematical theory to apply to the problems of high energy particle physics and cosmology. In the present work we give a short survey of some recent achievements of applying nonlinear dynamics to notoriously difficult subjects such as quantum entanglement as well as the origin and true nature of dark energy, negative absolute temperature and the fractal meaning of the constancy of the speed of light.展开更多

Similar whispering gallery sound waves are now a popular tourist attraction at the Echo Wall of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Whispering gallery phenomena also exist for light waves in dielectric spheres, disks, or toroids where total internal reflection allows the light to circulate with little attenuation and interfere with itself to form optical resonances or modes. These "whisper- ing gallery modes" have found applications ranging from photonics, quantum physics, biosensing, to optical clocks [1,2].展开更多

This effect was observed exceedingly in the photo-sensitive children as compared with the normal adults. The α spectrum shows asymmetric components with lower frequency-side tail. This spectrum shape could be realized from the computation in terms of the McCulloch-Pitts model and presented in comparison with the observed result. From this analysis, it turns out that the frequency spectrum analysis is most essential for the investigation of the EEG characteristics in comparison with simple waveform inspections in the time-passage. When light flashing frequencies come close to the alpha peak, the both peaks are fused in a giant single peak. These phenomena cannot be understood by the simple mechanical resonant theory but as discussed from the viewpoint of the soft chaotic dynamics of the neural network. Here the both peak intensities Iα and Iex are investigated under different conditions of ωex ωα, and ωα ωex, and it is shown that the entrainment effect is remarkably different in both cases. This result can be understood from the relating neuronal numbers and discussed.展开更多

Two laser diodes that are commonly driven by a monochromatic light beam result in chaos; however, chaotic synchronization between the two lasers may be achieved by coupling them. The all-optical logic gate is finally implemented by synchronizing or un-synchronizing appropriately the two chaotic states under a phase modulator (PM) control. Numerical results validate the feasibility of the method.展开更多
