SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF FOUR NOVEL TYPES OF MICROPOROUS BERYLLOPHOSPHATE(Ⅱ)

Four new types of microporous beryllophosphates were hydrothermally synthesized using BeO - P_2O_5- R - MCl (or MCl_2) - H_20, R being HMDA (1, b-hexanediamine), EDA (ethylenediamine), or TBAOH (tetrabutytamine hydroxide), M alkali or alkali earth cation. By means of X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD), infrared (IR), TG-DT and elemental analyses we show that the crystalline beryllopbospbates have novel, unique framework structures, composed from basic units of tetrahedral P0_4 and Be0_4. These materials exhibit zeolite-like adsorption and ion-exchange properties.

Preparation, Characterization and Luminescent Properties of MCM-41 Type Materials Impregnated with Rare Earth Complex

Hybrid materials incorporating Eu-(TTA)3·2H20 (hereafter designated as Eu-TTA, with TTA: thenoyltrifluoroacetone) in unmodified or modified MCM-41 by 3-aminopropyl-triethoxysilane (APTES) were prepared by impregnation method. The obtained materials were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and luminescence spectra. All the hybrid samples exhibited the characteristic emission bands of Eu3+ under UV light exci-tation at room temperature, and the excitation spectra showed significant blue-shifts compared to the pure rare-earth complex. Although the red emission intensity in the modified hybrid was almost the half of the red emission intensity in the pure Eu-TTA complex at room temperature, the hybrid showed a much higher thermal stability due to the shielding character of the MCM-41 host.

A New Type of Multielements-Doped,Carbon-based Materials Characterized by High-thermoconductiv-ity,Low Chemical Sputtering,Low RES Yield and Exposure to Plasma

Low-Z materials, such as carbon-based materials and Be, are major plasma-facing material (PFM) for current, even in future fusion devices. In this paper, a new type of multielement-doped carbon-based materials developed are presented along with experimental re-sults of their properties. The results indicate a decrease in chemical sputtering yield by one order of magnitude, a decrease in both thermal shock resistance and radiation-enhanced sublimation, an evidently lower temperature desorption spectrum, and combined properties of exposing to plasma.

The Usage of Characters in the Article Mingxun of the Warring States Bamboo Manuscripts Collected by Tsinghua University

There are 93 groups of characters in the Chu bamboo slips of Mingxun that have different forms with traditional charac-ters used latter.The 93 groups of characters can be divided into 4 types.Among them Type 1,the interchangeable characters,ac-count for 72.0%in total.The statistics reveal that it was so common to use different forms of characters during the Warring States period and this is a characteristic of the Chu bamboo slips.Besides,the statistics emphasize the importance of phonic sign in the character.
