Into the life and death: RecA a WISE factor working to integrate survival and evolution in <i>Escherichia coli</i>

Escherichia coli RecA has been considered traditionally a cellular protein with multiple vital functions working to ensure the maintenance of integrity of genome in each individual bacterial cell as well as promoting swarming migration in collectivity. On the contrary, recently it has been described that RecA promotes cellular apoptotic-like death (ALD), a pathway of programmed cellular death (PCD). Moreover, the ability to reconstruct the image preserves the fidelity of valuable host media, such as military and medical images. According to the results, the proposed approach can achieve superior performance to that of related sharing schemes for effectively providing distributed media management and storage.

In this paper, A secure and efficient threshold secret sharing scheme is proposed by using the plane parametric curve on the basis of the principle of secret sharing. And the performance of this threshold scheme is analyzed. The results reveal that the threshold scheme has its own advantage of one-parameter representation for a master key, and it is a perfect ideal secret sharing scheme. It can easily detect cheaters by single operation in the participants so that the probability of valid cheating is less than 1/p (where p is a large prime).

Over the past decade, synthetic biology has emerged as a powerful tool to study social dynamics. By engineering rationally controlled and modulatable beha- vior into microbes, we have increased our overall under- standing of how cooperation enhances, or conversely constrains, populations. Furthermore, it has increased our understanding of how cooperation is maintained within populations, which may provide a useful framework to influence populations by altering cooperation. As many bacterial pathogens require cooperation to infect the host and survive, the principles developed using synthetic biology offer promise of developing novel tools and strategies to treat infections, which may reduce the use of antimicrobial agents. Overall, the use of engineered cooperative microbes has allowed the field to verify existing, and develop novel, theories that may govern cooperative behaviors at all levels of biology.
