Visfatin and 25-Hydroxyvitamin D_(3) Levels Affect Coronary Collateral Circulation Development in Patients with Chronic Coronary Total Occlusion

Background:Coronary collateral circulation(CCC)plays a vital role in the myocardial blood supply,especially for ischemic myocardium.Evidence suggests that the visfatin and 25-hydroxyvitamin D_(3)[25(OH)D_(3)]levels are related to the degree and incidence of vascular stenosis associated with coronary artery disease;however,few studies have evaluated the effect of visfatin and 25(OH)D_(3) on CCC development in patients with chronic total occlusion(CTO).This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the serum visfatin and 25(OH)D_(3) levels and CCC in patients with CTO.Methods:A total of 189 patients with CTO confirmed by coronary angiography were included.CCC was graded from 0 to 3 according to the Rentrop-Cohen classification.Patients with grade 0 or grade 1 collateral development were in-cluded in the poor CCC group(n=82),whereas patients with grade 2 or grade 3 collateral development were included in the good CCC group(n=107).The serum visfatin and 25(OH)D_(3) levels were measured by ELISA.Results:The visfatin level was significantly higher in the poor CCC group than in the good CCC group,and the 25(OH)D_(3) level was significantly lower in the poor CCC group than in the good CCC group(P=0.000).Correlation analysis showed that the Rentrop grade was negatively correlated with the visfatin level(r=−0.692,P=0.000)but positively correlated with the 25(OH)D_(3) level(r=0.635,P=0.000).Logistic regression analysis showed that the vis-fatin and 25(OH)D_(3) levels were independent risk factors for CCC(odds ratio 1.597,95%confidence interval 1.300-1.961,P=0.000 and odds ratio 0.566,95%confidence interval 0.444-0.722,P=0.000,respectively).The visfatin and 25(OH)D_(3) levels can effectively predict the CCC status.Conclusion:Serum visfatin and 25(OH)D_(3) levels are related to CCC development and are independent predictors of poor CCC. 展开更多

A 3-dimensional baroclinic circulation model of the South China Sea

The summer and winter circulations in the South China Sea (SCS) including the surface elevation and water temperature are simulated using the model described by Cai and Li (1996) with the monthly mean wind stress and air temperature field at the 1000 mb level from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts as inputs. The boundary conditions at Bashi Channel and Taiwan Strait are taken from the simulation results of the Kuroshio using the same numerical model with a grid size of 0.5°×0.5° and the results of Cai and Li (1996) as boundary conditions. The computational domain for the present paper is between 100°E and 123°E and between 4.5°N and 27°N. The horizontal resolution is 0.25°×0.25° and the vertical variations of the velocity components are resolved by 6 layers The computed steady flow, temperature and elevation fields are consistent with the corresponding fields observed. In particular, the temperature and elevation fields of the South China Sea Warm Current (SCSWC) have been successfully simulated. The paths of the branch of the Kuroshio entering the South China Sea (SCSBK) through Bashi Channel in winter and summer are discussed It is found that the SCSBK flows southward to the southern SCS from the coast of the Guangdong Province. A portion of the SCSBK returns to the Bashi Channel and subdivides again in deep waters in winter with a branch flows to the south along the coast of the Philippines instead of flowing back to the Pacific In addition, our results confirm the existence of a eastward current to the northeast of Dongsha in summer with the Kuroshio as its source as suggested by Huang et al. Since the value of the eddy viscosity adopted for the simulation of the Kuroshio is on the high side, resulting in a weaker west boundary current in the western Pacific as the boundary conditions for the present simulations, some deviations from the actual situations are expected although the results are in general consistent with observations. 展开更多

A safe,economical treatment of hazardous chromium-bearing vanadate residue(CVR)will significantly benefit the clean production of chromate-bearing salts.This study investigated recovery of sodium vanadate and sodium chromate from CVR in sodium bicarbonate solution.Results indicate that the stability of calcium vanadate and calcium chromate depends on pH and[HCO3?].CaV2O6?4H2O transforms into CaV2O6?4H2O,CaV2O6?2H2O,CaV2O6,Ca2V2O7?2H2O,and Ca5(VO4)3(OH)when pH increases from 7.51 to 12.32.Increasing pH and reducing CVR dosage improve the vanadate extraction rate,and high V2O5 and Na2Cr2O7?2H2O extraction rates are achieved in dilute NaHCO3 solution.Moreover,addition of NaOH positively contributes to the recovery of vanadate and chromate from CVR.Over 95%V2O5 and Na2Cr2O7?2H2O in CVR can be extracted from 60 g/L NaHCO3 and 30 g/L NaOH solutions at 90°C for 2 h.In order to reduce the hazardous residue containing chromate after recovery of CVR,calcium circulation is presented.Results show that more than 60%lime can be saved with fresh residue addition to remove vanadate from sodium chromate solution due to the active CaCO3.Moreover,no lime is required in removal of vanadate when the roasting residue is added.Therefore,a novel process is developed for utilization of CVR. 展开更多

We used a fully coupled chemistry-climate model (version 3 of the Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model, WACCM3) to investigate the effect of methane (CH4) emission increases, especially in East Asia and North America, on atmospheric temperature, circulation and ozone (03). We show that CH4 emission increases strengthen westerly winds in the Northern Hemisphere midlatitudes, accelerate the Brewer-Dobson (BD) circulation, and cause an increase in the mass flux across the tropopause. However, the BD circulation in the tropics between 10°S and 10°N at 100 hPa weakens as CH4 emissions increase in East Asia and strengthens when CH4 emissions increase in North America. When CH4 emissions are increased by 50% in East Asia and 15% globally, the stratospheric temperature cools by up to 0.15 K, and the stratospheric 03 increases by 45 ppbv and 60 ppbv , respectively. A 50% increase of CH4 emissions in North America (with an amplitude of stratospheric 03 increases by 60 ppbv) has a greater influence on the stratospheric 03 than the same CH4 emissions increase in East Asia. CH4 emission increases in East Asia and North America reduce the concentration of tropospheric hydroxyl radicals (4% and 2%, respectively) and increase the concentration of mid-tropospheric 03 (5% and 4%, respectively) in the Northern Hemisphere midlatitudes. When CH4 emissions increase in East Asia, the increase in the tropospheric 03 concentration is largest in August. When CH4 emissions increase in North America, the increase in the 03 concentration is largest in July in the mid-troposphere, and in April in the upper troposphere. 展开更多

A three-dimensional nearshore circulation model was developed by coupling CH3D, a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model and REF/DIF, a nearshore wave transformation model. The model solves the three-dimensional wave-averaged equations of motion. Wave-induced effects on circulation were introduced in the form of radiation stresses, wave-induced mass transport, wave-induced enhancement of bottom friction and wave-induced turbulent mixing. Effects of breaking waves were considered following Svendsen (1984a and 1984b) and Stive and Wind (1986). The model was successfully tested against the analytical solution of longshore currents by Longuet and Higgins (1970). The model successfully simulated the undertow as observed in a laboratory experiment by Stive and Wind (1982). In addition, the model was applied to a physical model by Mory and Hamm (1997) and successfully reproduced the eddy behind a detached breakwater as well as the longshore current on the open beach and the contiguous eddy in the open area of the wave tank. While the qualitative agreement between model results and experimental observations was very good, the quantitative agreement needs to be further improved. Albeit difficult to explain every discrepancy between the model results and observations, in general, sources of errors are attributed to the lack of understanding and comprehensive description of following processes: (1)the horizontal and vertical distribution of radiation stress, especially for breaking waves;(2)the detailed structure of turbulence;(3)Wave-current interaction (not included at this moment); and (4)the wave-current boundary layer and the resulting bottom shear stress. 展开更多

A new water treatment system based on material circulation was constructed for purification of naturally polluted pond water in an aquarium. The water treatment system consisted of microbial columns with different flow rates (1.8 L/min/column in 6-columns unit and 2.9 L/min/column in 3-columns unit). Two hundred liters of water from a naturally polluted pond were treated for 14 days using the water treatment system. After treatment, the COD, TC, and TN had been reduced by up to 19.2%, 14.4%, and 20.1%, respectively. The bacterial biomass in the 3-columns unit was 7-fold higher than that in the 6-columns unit, and PCR-DGGE analysis showed slightly different bacterial communities between the two columns (<86%). The new water treatment system also worked efficiently in a fish-cultivated aquatic environment, with TC and TN removal rates of 190 mg/week and 260 mg/week, respectively. 展开更多

[Objectives] To observe the clinical effects of activating blood circulation to resolve blood stasis and glucosamine hydrochloride capsules therapy on post-traumatic knee osteoarthritis treatment,to measure the expression of matrix metalloproteinase in post-traumatic knee osteoarthritis patients before and after treatment,and to explore its relevant molecular mechanisms. [Methods]A total of 60 patients with posttraumatic knee osteoarthritis in early stage in Affiliated Hospital of Shannxi University of Chinese Medicine from January 2015 to December2017 were selected and randomly divided into the control group( n = 30) and the observation group( n = 30). The control group was given oral administration of glucosamine hydrochloride capsules for 6 courses of the treatment. The observation group was using the activating blood circulation to resolve blood stasis therapy for 6 courses of treatment. The recovery of traumatic knee osteoarthritis and the symptom of traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) in 2 groups was compared before and after treatment. The symptoms and the quantitative assessment rating scale of knee osteoarthritis,the pain index of knee and the TCM symptom scores were recorded in both groups. And the synovial fluid and serum of patients were collected to detect the expression of matrix metalloproteinase. [Results]The symptoms and the quantitative assessment rating scale of knee osteoarthritis,the pain index of knee and TCM symptom scores of the 2 groups in the 1 st week,the 12 th week and the 24 th week after the treatment were significantly lower than those before the treatment,and the difference was statistically significant( P < 0. 05). Two therapeutic methods had certain therapeutic effects on the recovery from traumatic knee osteoarthritis,and could significantly improve the TCM syndrome. There were better therapeutic effects on oral decoction of traditional Chinese medicine than oral glycosaminoglycans hydrochloride capsules on treating traumatic knee osteogenesis( P < 0. 05). The expression level of MMP3 was decreased significantly in both groups( P <0. 001),while the expression level of MMP13 had no significant change in both groups( P >0. 05). The expression level of MMP1 was decreased significantly in the observation group( P < 0. 001),but there was no significant change in the control group after treatment( P >0. 05). [Conclusions]Two treatment methods have been effective in this clinical study. Detection of the <i>PIK3CA</i>Mutation in Circulating Tumor DNA as a Possible Predictive Indicator for Poor Prognosis of Early-Stage Breast Cancer

Objectives: Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) is shown to provide the real-time genomic information of metastatic breast cancer. This study elucidates the clinico-pathological significance of ctDNA in early-stage breast cancer using the PIK3CA mutation as an indicator. Materials and Methods: Twenty-seven primary breast cancers without metastasis were surgically resected and pathologically diagnosed at the University of Tokyo Hospital, Japan. Genomic DNA of primary tumor was extracted from formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded specimens. ctDNA was extracted from fresh-frozen plasma from patients. The PIK3CA mutations at E542K, E545K and H1047R were examined by Sanger sequencing or droplet digital PCR in 27 tumors and pre- and post-surgery plasma. Results: The PIK3CA mutations were detected in 13 (48%) of 27 primary tumors. These mutations did not significantly correlate with specific clinico-pathological characteristics of tumors. When ctDNA was examined, 4 (33%) of 12 cases carrying the mutated PIK3CA showed the identical mutation in pre-surgery plasma and 2 (50%) of them showed the identical mutations in post-surgery plasma. Interestingly, in these 2 cases in pathological stages IIIA and IA, fractional abundance of the mutated PIK3CA alleles to the total alleles in pre-surgery ctDNA was around 1% or more and was higher than that of the other two cases without PIK3CA mutations in post-surgery ctDNA. Conclusions: The PIK3CA mutation in ctDNA is detectable even in a subset of early-stage breast cancer. Furthermore, fractional abundance of the mutated PIK3CA in pre-surgery ctDNA could provide a possible predictive indicator for tumor burden and for choosing the appropriate adjuvant treatment of breast cancer. 展开更多

A digraph D satisfies the α-property if for every maximum stable set S of D, there exists a path partition such that S and are orthogonal. A digraph D is α-diperfect if every induced subdigraph of D satisfies the α-property. In 1982, Berge proposed a characterization for α-diperfect digraphs in terms of forbidden anti-directed odd cycles. In 2018, Sambinelli, Silva and Lee proposed a similar conjecture. A digraph D satisfies the Begin-End-property or BE-property if for every maximum stable set S of D, there exists a path partition such that 1) S and are orthogonal and 2) for each path P ∈ , either the start or the end of P belongs to S. A digraph D is BE-diperfect if every induced subdigraph of D satisfies the BE-property. Sambinelli, Silva and Lee proposed a characterization for BE-diperfect digraphs in terms of forbidden blocking odd cycles. In this paper, we verified both conjectures for 3-anti-circulant digraphs. 池式快堆采用了新型非能动堆内直接余热排出(DRACS)方式,提升了快堆的安全性。目前针对池式快堆自然循环开展的数值模拟研究中,系统程序难以准确预测池内复杂自然循环路径,难以准确模拟池内三维热工水力现象,如果采用三维CFD计算建模及... 池式快堆采用了新型非能动堆内直接余热排出(DRACS)方式,提升了快堆的安全性。目前针对池式快堆自然循环开展的数值模拟研究中,系统程序难以准确预测池内复杂自然循环路径,难以准确模拟池内三维热工水力现象,如果采用三维CFD计算建模及网格划分难度较高,且所需计算资源较大。为此本文开发了“一维系统+三维CFD”耦合方法,用于快堆非能动余热排出系统自然循环特性计算分析。利用日本大型钠回路实验台架(PLANDTL)DRACS自然循环模式对该耦合方法进行验证,稳态工况关键位置参数相对误差小于3%,瞬态工况关键位置参数与实验值变化趋势吻合较好,相对误差小于10%,验证了该耦合方法的适用性和准确性。利用该耦合方法,开展了中国实验快堆(CEFR)自然循环及余热排出特性计算分析,识别了池内自然循环流动路径,揭示了池内温度分层以及盒间流现象。本文方法可为大型钠冷快堆自然循环三维瞬态特性分析提供重要数值方法。 展开更多

TK4-3-1井在钻至井深5471.81m时因钻遇断层发育带而发生失返性漏失,前后共实施了8次堵漏作业,共消耗各种堵漏材料780t多,共漏失钻井液、堵漏浆、水泥浆3562m^3,最后堵漏成功。该井是迄今为止塔河油田唯一一口发生失返性漏失而堵漏成功的井。该井完井采油时日产原油近200m^3,产气3000m^3。在分析该井发生特大漏失原因的基础上,详述介绍了各次堵漏施工情况。该井堵漏成功,为塔河油田深井特大漏失堵漏积累了经验,而且对于科研和生产均具有重要意义。 展开更多

目的:了解急性淋巴细胞白血病(ALL)患者成纤维细胞生长因子受体3(FGFR3)表达对循环内皮细胞(CECs)增殖的影响。方法:通过RT-PCR法检测44例ALL患者骨髓中FGFR3 mRNA表达,分成FGFR3^+组及FGFR3^-组进行Kaplan-Meier生存分析。利用免疫磁... 目的:了解急性淋巴细胞白血病(ALL)患者成纤维细胞生长因子受体3(FGFR3)表达对循环内皮细胞(CECs)增殖的影响。方法:通过RT-PCR法检测44例ALL患者骨髓中FGFR3 mRNA表达,分成FGFR3^+组及FGFR3^-组进行Kaplan-Meier生存分析。利用免疫磁珠结合流式细胞术分离计数CECs,对比两组CECs数量、表面抗原表达、生长曲线及集落生成数的差异。免疫荧光组化染色测定CECs表面FGFR3表达水平。结果:44例核型正常ALL患者中FGFR3 mRNA表达阳性率为43.2%,T-ALL组的FGFR3表达高于B-ALL组(P<0.05)。19 d骨髓原始细胞比例≥5%的患者FGFR3表达升高(P<0.05)。FGFR3阳性组的总生存率明显低于阴性组(P<0.05)。分离出的CECs高表达CD31、CD144、VEGFR-2和CD146,基本不表达CD45。与FGFR3阴性组相比,阳性组CECs数量、CD133的阳性率及集落生成数均增多(P<0.05)。体外培养中,FGFR3阳性组与阴性组相比,生长曲线3个时点上的细胞数差异有统计学显著性(P<0.05)。19例ALL-FGFR3^+患者CECs表面均能检测到FGFR3表达,阳性率为29.00%±15.71%。结论:致癌基因FGFR3对ALL患者CECs的增殖有促进作用,可能具备了抗肿瘤及抗血管生成的双重靶点身份,可以为今后的分子治疗提供更多的选择。 展开更多

目的制备抗重组日本血吸虫信号转导蛋白14-3-3(Sj14-3-3)的鸡卵黄免疫球蛋白(IgY),建立双抗体夹心ELISA诊断体系(IgY-ELISA),探讨用于日本血吸虫病的诊断价值。方法利用Sj14-3-3制备并纯化卵黄抗体IgY和兔多克隆IgG抗体;以IgG为捕获抗体... 目的制备抗重组日本血吸虫信号转导蛋白14-3-3(Sj14-3-3)的鸡卵黄免疫球蛋白(IgY),建立双抗体夹心ELISA诊断体系(IgY-ELISA),探讨用于日本血吸虫病的诊断价值。方法利用Sj14-3-3制备并纯化卵黄抗体IgY和兔多克隆IgG抗体;以IgG为捕获抗体,IgY为检测抗体建立双抗体夹心ELISA诊断方法,检测72例急性血吸虫病患者、128例慢性血吸虫病患者、132例正常人、42例肺吸虫患者、60例华支睾吸虫患者和46例钩虫感染者血清。探讨基于IgY的循环抗原检测的应用价值。结果成功制备并鉴定了抗Sj14-3-3特异性IgY和IgG抗体,建立了双抗体夹心ELISA检测体系;检测急性血吸虫病患者和慢性血吸虫病患者血清的阳性率分别为73.6%和48.4%,正常人血清的阴性率为94.7%;与肺吸虫患者、华支睾吸虫患者、钩虫感染者血清的交叉反应分别为7.1%、6.7%、6.5%。结论建立了基于IgY的双抗体夹心ELISA检测体系,用于日本血吸虫病患者血清的检测具有较高的敏感性和特异性,可用于日本血吸虫病的辅助诊断。 展开更多

目的探讨温阳活血法联合常规治疗对阳虚血瘀型3~4期慢性肾脏病患者的临床疗效。方法 80例患者随机分为治疗组和对照组,每组40例,对照组给予常规治疗,治疗组在对照组基础上加用温阳活血法(真武汤联合桃核承气汤),3个月为1个疗程。然后,P... 目的探讨温阳活血法联合常规治疗对阳虚血瘀型3~4期慢性肾脏病患者的临床疗效。方法 80例患者随机分为治疗组和对照组,每组40例,对照组给予常规治疗,治疗组在对照组基础上加用温阳活血法(真武汤联合桃核承气汤),3个月为1个疗程。然后,Pearson分析考察不对称二甲基精氨酸(ADMA)与肾功能指标的相关性,观察2组临床疗效、肾功能指标、不良反应。结果治疗组总有效率显著高于对照组(P<0. 05)。治疗后,2组血肌酐(Scr)、尿素氮(BUN)、ADMA显著降低(P<0. 05),估算肾小球滤过率(e GFR)显著升高(P<0. 05),以治疗组更显著(P<0. 05)。Scr、BUN与ADMA呈正相关性(P<0. 05),而e GFR与后者呈负相关性(P<0. 05)。2组均未发现明显不良反应。结论 ADMA可作为阳虚血瘀型3~4期慢性肾脏病患者肾功能损伤程度的预测因子。温阳活血法能明显改善患者肾功能及ADMA水平,安全性良好。 展开更多

全新世事件3是1997年由Bond等提出的、指的是发生在4.2 ka BP左右的冷事件。此后,冰心、海洋沉积物、湖泊沉积物、石笋和泥炭等各种地质载体被广泛用于全新世事件3的研究当中。此次事件在全球范围内普遍存在,在北半球中、低纬度大部分... 全新世事件3是1997年由Bond等提出的、指的是发生在4.2 ka BP左右的冷事件。此后,冰心、海洋沉积物、湖泊沉积物、石笋和泥炭等各种地质载体被广泛用于全新世事件3的研究当中。此次事件在全球范围内普遍存在,在北半球中、低纬度大部分地区以冷干的气候条件为主,而在北半球高纬度地区和南半球部分地区则以冷湿的气候条件为主。同时,这次冷干或者冷湿的气候波动对于当时世界范围内的古文化变迁产生了重要的影响,是造成非洲尼罗河流域古埃及文明、两河流域美索不达米亚古阿卡德帝国、印度河流域哈拉帕文明以及中国新石器文化的衰落的主要原因。而全新世事件3的主要成因很可能是当时太阳活动减弱,一方面导致北大西洋表层浮冰增加,表层海水温度降低,减弱了温盐循环,使海陆温差减小,季风减弱;另一方面使热带幅合带南移,在北半球中、低纬度大部分地区形成干旱降温事件。 展开更多

目的探讨癌痛消方中使用的大剂量活血化淤药物对肝癌细胞凋亡因子的影响,进一步明确其在抗肿瘤方面的作用机制。方法将40只Walker-256移植性肝癌大鼠模型随机分为4组,即癌痛消全方组、活血化淤药组、非活血化淤药组及模型组,于造模后第... 目的探讨癌痛消方中使用的大剂量活血化淤药物对肝癌细胞凋亡因子的影响,进一步明确其在抗肿瘤方面的作用机制。方法将40只Walker-256移植性肝癌大鼠模型随机分为4组,即癌痛消全方组、活血化淤药组、非活血化淤药组及模型组,于造模后第8天给药,连续用药14 d后停药24 h,处死大鼠,并取出适量肿瘤组织行流式细胞JC-1染色法检测,并取出适量瘤块行免疫组化法检测其中Fas、FasL、Caspase-3蛋白的表达情况。结果肝癌细胞线粒体膜电位下降的细胞比值(JC-1+%)在活血化淤药组中为(22.34±1.94)%,与癌痛消全方组、非活血化淤组两两比较,差异均显著(P=0.000),与模型组比较,差异无统计学意义(P=0.093)。Fas、FasL和Caspase-3蛋白在活血化淤药组的表达情况与模型组比较,差异无统计学意义(P=0.835、P=0.584和P=0.820);与癌痛消全方组和非活血化淤药组两两比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.01或P<0.05)。三者蛋白表达情况与细胞凋亡检测结果相一致。结论单独使用癌痛消方中大剂量活血化淤药不能明显影响Fas、FasL和Caspase-3蛋白在肝癌细胞中的表达,不能明显干扰细胞凋亡网络信号从而促进肝癌细胞的凋亡,有必要与其他具有抗肿瘤作用药物联合使用。 展开更多
