Manifestation of Traditional Cultures in Classical Chinese and Korean Gardens

Classical garden as a kind of comprehensive art embodies a nation's culture and spirit, and culture has a direct impact on the style of classical gardens in the same period. Traditional Chinese and Korean gardens have intimate connection with each other and have their own unique systems. Also it is no exception in culture, that is, similar traditional cultures have different manifestations in their respective classical gardens. This study analyzes different manifestations of yin and yang and Five Elements Theory, thought of immortals and Confucianism in classical gardens of China and Korea.

Artful Application of Garden Plants in Classical Suzhou Gardens

Defi nition of plant landscaping and features of plant landscaping in classical Suzhou gardens were introduced, the forms of combining plants and buildings, rockeries and waterscapes were analyzed by elaborating selection of plant species and plant furnishings. In addition, manifestation of artistic beauty of the classical Suzhou gardens was explored, and protective measures were given.

Play-with-water Landscapes in Classical Chinese Gardens

From the perspective of delighting and sentimental function of water in classical Chinese gardens, the concept of "play with water" or "dabbling" was introduced. Play-with-water landscapes in many classical Chinese gardens were investigated and classified into 4 types: sound play, shadow play, human play, and water fowl play. Concrete design techniques were explored.

Landscaping Application of Bamboos in Classical Suzhou Gardens

History of bamboo application in Suzhou gardens was reviewed respectively in three stages:Wei and Jin Dynasties,Tang and Song Dynasties,Ming and Qing Dynasties.Bamboo landscapes in such famous classical Suzhou gardens as Humble Administrator's Garden,Lion Grove,Master-of-Nets Garden and Pavilion of Surging Waves were introduced.Techniques of creating bamboo landscapes in classical Suzhou gardens were analyzed,centering on "pathways in bamboo grove winding to serenity","realization to truth","bamboo shadows on white wall","green bamboos and white stones","listening to bamboo breeze","misty bamboo grove",poetic and pictorial splendor and also musical rhythm of bamboo landscapes were highlighted.

Application of Classical Garden Design in Landscaping of West Sichuan Plain

Taking"Lotus Garden Residential Area"in Dayi County,Chengdu City,on the west Sichuan Plain for example,the signifi cance of combining ecological technologies and landscape design was elaborated,and the means of controlling urban fl ood and waterlogging were explored from the perspective of the basic unit of urban construction,the residential area,so as to offer a new sustainable thought for the environment design of future residential areas.

The Application of Plant Culture in Architectural Decorations of Classical Gardens of Yangzhou

Investigations were made on the various plant patterns which appeared in the decorations of the two types of gardens, namely private gardens and temple gardens in Yangzhou. Analysis was made of the application of plant elements in each location, their implication of the traditional culture, and the relationship between the garden style, theme and artistic conception, aiming to provide a reference for the application of plant culture in the future garden decorations design.

Artistic Conception of Chinese Classical Gardens

The artistic conception of the garden is the visual and typical natural environment and the ideological implication of the garden landscape expressed by the designer’s conception and creation.This paper analyzed the artistic conception of Chinese classical gardens from four aspects:the types,functions,creative techniques and contemporary factors restricting the development of artistic conception of gardens.It showed the charm of artistic conception of classical Chinese gardens,the important role of artistic conception of gardens,the current situation and problems encountered in the development of artistic conception of contemporary Chinese gardens.The paper also put forward some thoughts on the development status and problems of garden artistic conception,and explored the fusion method of Chinese classical garden artistic conception and modern garden.

Analysis of Waterscape Engineering Skills of Classical Chinese Gardens

In classical Chinese gardens,the waterscape has its own unique style of expression,which is to highlight the simulation of the natural water landscape and its combination with the elements of the garden.As a pole of classical garden theory,waterscape plays an important role in organizing space and creating the overall landscape effect.In addition to the landscape concept and water management method,the combination of engineering practices and landscape aesthetics involved guarantees Artistic presentation of water bodies in gardens.Based on the existing research,this study cut in from the perspective of engineering technology,and conducted detailed research on engineering techniques,materials application and artistic expression under different water body functions and forms,and explored the fusion of "making" "technique" and "art" in the waterscape construction.

Composition Techniques of Enframed Scenery in Classical Gardens

Enframed scenery is one of the most common landscape design techniques in Chinese classical gardens.Yuanye,the first monograph dedicated to garden architecture in the world,has a penetrating description of it.Due to the limitations of history,however,this work only focuses on the synthesis of experience and lacks rational analysis.In recent years,many researchers have begun to use the "analysis method" to study classical gardens,which has transformed gardens from abstract,pure textual descriptions to graphic analysis of concrete images.That is to say,garden research has become more scientific.Nevertheless,the current research is still not systematic enough for the analysis of the most common design technique of the enframed scenery,and it is somewhat inadequate in guiding creative practice.In view of this,authors of this paper specifically and systematically elaborate factors that influence the formation of the enframed scenery and summarize the composition,types,and forms of the enframed scenery,in order to achieve the purpose of guiding the design practice.

基于空间句法与机器学习的中国古典园林空间指征分析框架建构

【目的】中国古典园林空间一直以来难以被量化测度,空间句法的兴起使得相关研究向定量化发展,但既有研究与经典理论的融合度仍显不够,且空间特征分析的系统性有待加强。有必要提出一套系统的空间指征分析框架,以支持对古典园林空间的量化测度。【方法】对中国古典园林空间研究的经典理论进行归纳,使用DepthmapX对园林空间的可视层、可行层模型的各项视域分析指标进行计算,通过叠加分析对空间指征进行测度,借助DBSCAN算法实现对各空间指征聚类特征的识别。以留园、拙政园为例进行分析,并开展感知试验以验证其科学性。【结果】提出了兼顾人本感知和可测度的5项空间指征:渗透性、曲折度、可视性、可达性和差异度。空间指征的分析框架得到了案例研究与感知试验的支持。【结论】搭建了一套可操作、易推广的能够系统地提取、刻画并解释古典园林空间特色的指征分析框架,实现了量化分析工具和经典理论的深度融合,探索了中国古典园林空间量化研究的新可能。

四川古典园林艺术特征分析及现代性传承思考

四川古典园林作为地方园林之一,园林类型丰富、园林文化特色鲜明。在成都建设公园城市的背景下,研究当地古典造园艺术手法对于该地区园林的保护及其现代性传承具有重要意义。以保存较为完好的唐代园林之一新繁东湖作为研究对象,从布局、景观序列、造园要素、造景手法等多个角度对其造园艺术手法进行分析,以期对四川古典园林的保护与现代性传承提供借鉴与建议。

依山挟水——唐华清宫山水格局研究

通过梳理唐都长安周边宏观层面上大山大水的地理形势,论述华清宫在京畿山水格局中的地位,辅以同时期山水画、壁画等反映出的山水格局,结合华清宫及昭应城舆图、地理志等探析其审美特征。利用ArcGIS与Global Mapper等软件,提取DEM高程图中的地理信息数据,绘制相应图形论证华清宫与周边山水的相互关系,探明华清宫山水格局下的政治内涵。利用文献考古结合地理信息数据的景观考古研究方法有助于补充华清宫研究中文字记录的缺失,证明设计思想与自然环境的相互契合,并将其山水格局总结为“山-苑-宫-城-水”一体的“依山挟水”的空间模式。

基于网络文本分析的粤中四大名园旅游形象感知研究

游客的感知评价对于古典园林的活化利用和未来发展具有重要的指导价值。网络文本在旅行目的地形象研究中具有获取成本低、数据量大且直观真实等显著优势。以粤中四大名园为研究对象,通过八爪鱼采集器收集大众点评网、携程旅行网和去哪儿网的游客评价文本,结合内容分析法、Python jieba库和ROST CM6.0等,从评价差异、特征感知和形象变化三个方面对四大园林旅游形象进行系统分析,以期为岭南古典园林活化和发展提供决策参考。结果表明:(1)影响游客评价的积极因素主要集中在岭南特色、园林景观和惠民措施三个方面,消极因素集中在服务态度、预约提示、商业氛围和停车设施四个方面;(2)亲子群体占据旅游人群中重要比例,且出游时间集中在节假日;(3)近年来游客关注点从园林景点逐渐转向娱乐活动,包括拍照和汉服穿戴体验等。基于以上结果,从发挥优势、补齐短板、增强联动、挖掘特色提出岭南古典园林的整改与发展策略。

南京古典园林的自然光影研究——以愚园为例

为了研究南京古典园林内的自然光影特征及其影响因素,文章从南京愚园这座晚清私家园林入手,实地调研一年四季不同时间段内的光照度值,并进行整理,进一步导入软件处理,分析得出了愚园整体的光影情况。最后得出结论,并为今后现代园林景观设计如何利用好光影提供借鉴和启发。

“东庄”香景营造

为探寻中国古典园林中香景植物的营建智慧,以明中期吴融至吴奕时苏州“东庄”为研究对象,以吴宽及其友人的诗文、历代园主墓志铭、《东庄图》及题画诗等图文为材料,分析东庄四季香景营造手法和特点,总结东庄演变史及主要香景植物种类,发现园中各类香景植物与人文意象的结合体现了历任园主在营建中的各有侧重,园主通过追求四时之景,呈现出与城内私家宅园迥异的农园特色,并从时间维度解读了东庄的香景体验,旨在为进一步探讨古典园林中的香景营造智慧提供借鉴。
