Promoting the International Dissemination of Chinese Culture Through International Chinese Language Education: A Case Study of Chinese-English Idiomatic Equivalence

One major task of our improvement of China’s international communication capabilities is to tell China’s stories well and make China’s voice heard to communicate a comprehensive,multi-dimensional view of China in the international arena.International Chinese language education bears the dual responsibility of spreading the Chinese language and promoting the Chinese culture.How to shape global narratives for telling China’s stories and improve China’s international communication capabilities has become an important issue that concerns international Chinese language education.Chinese idioms,which are hidden treasures of the Chinese language,can play a unique role in this regard.It is therefore necessary to review the content and methods of including idioms in international Chinese language education.In this paper,instruction in idioms is approached by making a corpus-based comparative analysis from the theoretical perspectives of equivalence,cognitive metaphor,and second language acquisition.Qualitative and quantitative methods are combined to analyze idioms to be added to the vocabulary of international Chinese language education in three dimensions:word frequency,semantic transparency,and functional equivalence.This paper aims to explore a new approach to the dissemination of Chinese culture through instruction in idioms in international Chinese language education.

Mock Impoliteness and Co-Construction of Hudui Rituals in Chinese Online Interaction

This paper examines an under-researched phenomenon of mock impoliteness in Chinese online interaction,namely,the practice of hudui(lit.reciprocal jocular abuse)as a solidarity enhancing device among acquaintances.Drawing on data from Qzone interaction among Chinese university students,this study focuses on ritual features,sequential patterns and interpersonal functions of hudui through the lens of Kádár’s(2013,2017)interpersonal ritual theory.The results show that hudui is co-constructed by the online participants with the symmetric pattern of mutual abuse,which distinguishes it from previous studies of jocular abuse(i.e.,the asymmetric pattern of abuser–recipient).They also reveal that hudui accomplishes various kinds of relational work,including fostering intimacy,enhancing mutual affection-based face and creating amusement.

The Application of the Functional Equivalence in the Translation of Chinese Tourist Guide

In recent years,with the rapid growth of Chinese tourism,more and more foreigners come to China to travel.The translation of Chinese tourist guide has become an effective way to publicize China and promote the development of Chinese tourism.The thesis mainly analyzes the application of the functional equivalence in the translation of Chinese tourist guide from the reader’s reception and response,and suggests some different translation techniques such as conversion,recasting,analogy and creative translation to make the translation of Chinese tourist guide better accepted by the target language readers.

Research on the Applications of Theory of Lexical Chunks and Cultural Equivalence Theory on Chinese for Foreigners Education

In this paper, we conduct research on the applications of theory of lexical chunks and cultural equivalence theory on Chinese for foreigner education. There are a lot of language chunks in block is different from the special language unit words, phrases, sentences, prefabricated resistance, can be stored as a whole and extract which plays important role in language acquisition. Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the theory of lexical chunks in such aspects as help memorization and build up your language sense showed a huge advantage. To explore the teaching methods of lexical chunks has important significance to improve the effectiveness of Chinese teaching. Our research proposed the novel paradigm for the education which will be meanin~,ful and helnful.

On the English Translation of Chinese Internet Catchwords from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence Theory

Due to the long history of China,the special features of the Chinese Internet catchwords and the few translations of the Chinese Internet catchwords at home and abroad,it is very hard for the foreigners to comprehend the Chinese Internet catchwords.Functional Equivalence Theory is put forward by an American translation theorist,Eugene A.Nida,which casts great influence on the translation circle.This paper applies the literal translation and the free translation to translate the Chinese Internet catchwords in the light of functional equivalence theory.

Measurements of physical characteristics of summer snow cover on sea ice during the Third Chinese Arctic Expedition

The spatial distribution of snow cover on the central Arctic sea ice is investigated here based on the observations made during the Third Chinese Arctic Expedition. Six types of snow were observed during the expedition： new/recent snow, melt-fi＇eeze crust, icy layer, depth hoar, coarse-grained, and chains of depth hoar. Across most measurement areas, the snow surface was covered by a melt-freeze crust 2-3 cm thick, which was produced by alternate strong solar radiation and the sharp temperature decrease over the summer Arctic Ocean. There was an intermittent layer of snow and ice at the base of the snow pack. The mean bulk density of the snow was 304.01~29.00 kg/m3 along the expedition line, and the surface values were generally smaller than those of the sub- surface, confirming the principle of snow densification. In addition, the thicknesses and water equivalents of the new/recent and total-layer snow showed a decreasing trend with latitude, suggesting that the amount of snow cover and its spatial variations were mainly determined by precipitation. Snow temperature also presented significant variations in the vertical profile, and ablation and evaporation were not the primary factors in the snow assessment in late summer. The mean temperature of the surface snow was -2.01±0.96℃, which was much higher than that observed in the interface of snow and sea ice.

Chinese Translation of International Trade Terms--A Corpus Based Study

Being widely used in global trade,the translation of international trade terms is necessary.Major procedures in this article are as following:(1)collecting 750 international trade terms and their Chinese translations from dictionaries,journals and official websites related to international trade terms;(2)using Tmxmall to align the international trade terms and their Chinese translation to build a parallel corpus;(3)selecting 120 out of the 750 international trade terms through random sampling;(4)classifying the international trade terms into four types through POS-tagging in CLAWS5;(5)basing on the functional equivalence and summarizing the main translation methods of international trade terms.The result shows literal translation,free translation and combination of literal and free translation employed in the Chinese translation of international trade terms.

In contrast with English,Chinese addressing system is characterized by the great number coupled with cultural connotations,thus adding to the difficulty in Chinese-English translation.In this paper,the author endeavors to locate the source of differences between Chinese & English addressing terms and seek the cultural connotations and pragmatic equivalence of Chinese addressing terms in translation.

To watch English Chinese Translation of online language from the perspective of the theory of dynamic

English and Chinese belong to different language families, so they have difference on their own characteristics, habits expression, syntactic structure and many other aspects. Nida＇ s dynamic equivalence theory thinks that translation is not Simple literal equivalence, but it is corresponding to two languages meanings and styles that are not rigidly adhered to forms. Therefore, we also need consider the cultural context in addition to understanding features of two languages in the process of translation, This paper makes a preliminary summary research on the parts of speech translation of English and Chinese translation to help translators better to deal with the parts of speech translation in the English and Chinese translation under the guidance of dynamic equivalence.

功能对等理论视角下中国文化负载词的翻译研究——以2017~2022年大学英语四级段落翻译为例

自十八大报告提出“增强文化自信”以来,中国传统文化受到了高度关注。四级英语考试中大量中国文化负载词的出现体现了这一时代的发展和要求。文章基于功能对等理论,以2017年6月到2022年12月的四级翻译真题为研究文本,根据分类采用音译、直译、意译等方法翻译出其文化内涵和意义,从而提高大学生英语四级考试汉译英的能力,实现文化的有效传播,提高民族文化自信。

连翘配方颗粒与饮片的抗炎、抗肿瘤和抑菌效果的比较研究

目的采用斑马鱼体内模型实验和体外抗菌实验比较连翘配方颗粒和饮片的抗炎、抗肿瘤和抑菌的药效差异。方法将斑马鱼胚胎分为空白组、模型对照组、10μg/mL地塞米松处理组、连翘饮片处理组(剂量为400、600、800μg/mL)和连翘配方颗粒处理组(剂量为400、600、800μg/mL),分别构建硫酸铜、尾鳍横断和LPS显微注射斑马鱼炎症模型,采用中性粒细胞观察、病理组织切片、生存分析和实时定量荧光PCR实验评价连翘配方颗粒与饮片的抗炎药效差异,并从MAPK和NF-κB信号通路角度探讨其抗炎作用机理差异。将斑马鱼胚胎分为模型对照组、250 nmol/L索拉菲尼处理组、连翘饮片处理组(400、600、800μg/mL)和连翘配方颗粒处理组(400、600、800μg/mL),采用斑马鱼异种移植肿瘤细胞模型,通过荧光观察和病理组织切片评价连翘配方颗粒与饮片抗肿瘤的药效差异。将实验分为空白组、连翘饮片处理组(1.95、3.91、7.81、15.63、31.25、62.5、125、250、500 mg/mL)和连翘配方颗粒处理组(1.95、3.91、7.81、15.63、31.25、62.5、125、250、500 mg/mL),采用微量肉汤稀释法评价连翘配方颗粒与饮片的抑菌药效差异。结果与模型对照组比较,连翘配方颗粒及饮片均可抑制中性粒细胞聚集数量(P<0.001)和Tnfα、Il6、P38、Jnk、Erk和P65的mRNA表达(P<0.05或P<0.01或P<0.001),升高斑马鱼的存活率(P<0.01或P<0.001);减少人肺腺癌A549细胞、人结直肠癌HCT116细胞、人胰腺癌PANC-1细胞、人肝癌Hep3B细胞和人宫颈癌Hela细胞在卵黄囊内的聚集(P<0.05或P<0.01或P<0.001);并在15.63 mg/mL时起到抑菌作用。结论连翘配方颗粒及饮片均具有显著抗炎、抗肿瘤和抑菌作用,两者除在低剂量下抑制Il6、P65、Jnk的mRNA表达和HCT116细胞增殖有显著性差异外,其他作用均无明显差异。

多指标降维判别分析方法在中药配方颗粒汤剂与传统汤剂等效性对比中的应用

针对传统汤剂和配方颗粒汤剂等效性评价方法不直观,未从多维度指标综合评价等问题,该研究建立了一种基于多指标(化学成分、药效作用)降维判别分析二者等效性关系的评价方法。为验证方法的有效性,将A、B、C厂炙甘草,D、E厂白芍,F、G、H厂砂仁配方颗粒汤剂与传统汤剂的化学成分等数据进行验证分析。结果显示建立的判别方法可快速、直观判别两者之间的关系,A、B、C三厂的炙甘草配方颗粒在当量比校正前均不能判定与其传统汤剂等效,经当量比校正后,代表传统汤剂和配方颗粒汤剂的两个置信椭圆部分相交或包含,表明二者可部分或完全替代;D、E厂白芍,F、G、H厂砂仁的配方颗粒在当量比校正前和校正后均不能判定与传统汤剂等效,二者无法相互替代。所建立的方法通过图形化形式快速直观综合判断配方颗粒汤剂与传统汤剂之间的关系,可用于二者之间的等效性评价。

后艺术时代的艺术:思想基础与时代关联

后艺术时代的艺术具有三大特点:四个场极(先锋艺术、大众艺术、电型艺术、设计艺术),三类对立(先锋艺术与后三类艺术),四圈(先锋艺术之圈、大众艺术之圈、电型艺术和设计艺术的艺术部分之圈、非艺术部分之圈)互动。三大特点在思想上受升级了的科学和哲学形成的新世界观的影响,这就是相对论和量子论中的质能一体和时空一体观念。这两大特点从各类艺术特别是绘画中体现出来,后艺术时代的西方绘画,主要体现在两点:一是如何在画中表现虚;二是如何在画中突出时间。最有代表性的画家,在这两方面都有自己的独特性。通过对西方绘画大家作品的分析,可以看到,西方后艺术时代的艺术,在体现虚实结构之“虚”和突出时空结构之“时”上,与中国和印度的古典绘画既有相同的一面,还有不同的一面,体现了西方对虚和时的理解。这种理解可以从两个方面进行:一是自身的历史演进;二是中西印的文化比较。从西方的古今之变和中西印的艺术互鉴,可以更深地体悟西方后艺术时代中的艺术特质。

Study on the four Qi of Pfaffia glomerata based on the metabolomics technology and comparison of Dangshen(Radix Codonopsis) in the equivalent substitution prescription

OBJECTIVE:To explore the four Qi of Pfaffia glomerata(PG)and endow this foreign folk herb with the properties of Chinese medicine,make it Chinese medicinal and localized,and could be used as a Chinese medicine.METHODS:The normal group,six cold herb groups,six hot herb groups,six cool herb groups,PG prescription group(PGPG),and Dangshen(Radix Codonopsis)prescription group(CPPG)were prepared with corresponding concentrations of water extracts,these herb extracts were administered by gavage to SpragueDawley rats,and the 12 h urine at night on the 29th day of the SD rats in each group were collected,Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer system was used to analyze them,the best discriminant models for the medicinal properties of cold-hot and cold-cool were set up,so as to the medicinal properties of PGPG,CPPG and PG were predicted.Based on the Progenesis QI,Human Metabolome Database,Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes,MetaboAnalyst 5.0 database,we enriched metabolic pathway and classification mechanism of medicinal properties of cold-cool Chinese herbs and the molecular mechanism of PG prescription.RESULTS:We established a best model of cold-hot herbal discrimination in the positive ion mode,then the probability that PGPG was predicted cold property was 88.9%.Furthermore,a model of cold-cool herbal discrimination was established,then the probability of PGPG containing the cool property was 77.8%.In addition,typical cold and cool herbs mainly affected nine biomarkers such as tyrosine-proline,(R)-3',7-Dihydroxy-2',4'-dimethoxyisoflavane in rats.The regulation trend of PGPG on markers was basically as same as the cool herbs and mainly involved in regulating the two pathways of cytochrome P450 and purine metabolism.CONCLUSION:The results showed PGPG had a cool medicinal property as same as CPPG,and the regulation trend of PGPG on markers was consistent with cool herbs.Therefore,the medicine properties PG and CP should be consistent,and the Traditional Chinese Medicine property of PG was predicted to be neutral.

中药联合多巴胺能药物对帕金森病运动症状及左旋多巴等效剂量影响的Meta分析

目的:系统评价中药联用多巴胺能药物对帕金森病(PD)运动症状及左旋多巴等效剂量的影响。方法:对已发表的中药治疗PD的随机临床对照试验(RCT)进行系统评价,通过统一帕金森病评分量表运动症状部分(UPDRSⅢ)评分和左旋多巴等效剂量(LED),对中药联用多巴胺能药物改善PD运动症状及治疗后多巴胺能药物用量变化进行Meta分析。结果:根据纳入与排除标准筛选文献,最终对6项RCT进行Meta分析。结果显示,中药联用多巴胺能药物能显著降低PD病人UPDRSⅢ评分,改善运动症状[MD=-4.03,95%CI(-4.93,-3.12),P<0.000 01];在排除异质性后发现联合中药治疗后能降低PD病人LED[MD=-55.35,95%CI(-86.17,-24.52),P=0.000 4]。对4项记录不良反应的RCT进行分析显示,中药联用多巴胺能药物的不良反应事件发生率较高[MD=2.41,95%CI(1.44,4.02),P=0.000 8]。结论:对纳入6篇文献的Meta分析结果显示,中药联用多巴胺能药物比单独运用多巴胺能药物能够在改善PD病人运动症状的同时减少治疗后LED,其轻度胃肠道症状反应的发生率较高,考虑与口服中药造成的胃肠道刺激相关。

成语是中华民族在悠久的历史中所沉淀的文化产物,蕴含着中国丰富的社会、历史及文化。《论中国共产党历史》系统回顾我们党团结带领中国人民不懈奋斗的光辉历程,深入总结党在各个历史时期创造的理论成果、积累的宝贵经验、铸就的伟大精神。本文选取《论中国共产党历史》汉维版本中成语展开研究,通过对其中的成语收集、整理,并通过与现有的汉维成语词典进行对比,试图在“功能对等”理论指导下,分析该成语在维吾尔语中最恰当的表达方式。

科勒等值理论视角下音乐剧《汉密尔顿》汉译研究

随着文化全球化的日益加深,英美音乐剧纷纷进入国内市场且引起学者的广泛关注。著名百老汇音乐剧《汉密尔顿》是一部讲述美国开国元勋亚历山大·汉密尔顿的音乐剧,由林-曼努尔·米兰达编剧、作曲及填词。该文以科勒的翻译等值理论为指导,对“药不能停字幕组”翻译的《汉密尔顿》汉译本进行研究,旨在探究译者应当如何采取合适的翻译策略与技巧,实现译文在外延、内涵、语篇规约、语用及形式五个层面的等值,以期为音乐剧汉译提供些许借鉴意义。研究发现,译者需在保证原文意义忠实传达的基础上,根据具体的语言和文化背景,采取直译、套译、反说正译等多种翻译策略、方法和技巧,巧用汉语四字格形式,达到最佳译文效果。

中国式现代化进程中耕地保护制度的体系化

我国耕地保护的政策及法律制度较多且更新速度较为合理,但耕地保护的绩效并不理想。现有耕地保护制度数量多,但较为分散,没有产生耕地保护的制度合力。中国式现代化的实现需要体系化的耕地保护制度,体系化的耕地保护制度与中国式现代化的实现具有内在逻辑关系。当前,耕地保护制度体系化面临一系列问题,如耕地数量保护制度厚度不足、耕地质量保护制度呈现碎片化、耕地保护储备制度较为分散、耕地生态补偿制度不够规范及耕地保护救济制度力度不足等。因此,要明确耕地保护制度的体系化思维,以土地当量制度推进耕地质量与数量保护制度的落地,以构建体系化的耕地保护储备制度和耕地生态补偿制度为抓手,以耕地保护救济制度的体系化为突破点,在中国式现代化的历史进程中实现耕地保护绩效提升。
