In the last few decades, academic and industrial settings employ this type of analysis to set a suitable standard for a system's safety feasibility, and as a result reduce human-based errors. This paper investigates the uplink throughput of Cognitive Radio Cellular Networks(CRCNs).As oppose to traditional performance evaluation schemes which mainly adopt complex system level simulations,we use the theoreti...This paper investigates the uplink throughput of Cognitive Radio Cellular Networks(CRCNs).As oppose to traditional performance evaluation schemes which mainly adopt complex system level simulations,we use the theoretical framework of stochastic geometry to provide a tractable and accurate analysis of the uplink throughput in the CRCN.By modelling the positions of User Equipments(UEs)and Base Stations(BSs)as Poisson Point Processes(PPPs),we analyse and derive expressions for the link rate and the cell throughput in the Primary(PR)and Secondary(SR)networks.The expressions show that the throughput of the CRCN is mainly affected by the density ratios between the UEs and the BSs in both the PR and SR networks.Besides,a comparative analysis of the link rate between random and regular BS deployments is concluded,and the results confirm the accuracy of our analysis.Furthermore,we define the cognitive throughput gain and derive an expression which is dominated by the traffic load in the PR network.展开更多

After the influencing factors are identified, Markov method is used to calculate the values of human reliability. The proposed method does not rely on the involvement of experts in the field of human factor nor depend on historical accidents or human error statistics. It is applied to the case of the crew on board of an ocean going dry bulk carrier. The caculated results agree with the actual case, which verifies the validity of the model.展开更多

Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a disorder characterized by behavioral symptoms including hyperactivity/impulsivity among children,adolescents,and adults.These ADHD related symptoms are influen...Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a disorder characterized by behavioral symptoms including hyperactivity/impulsivity among children,adolescents,and adults.These ADHD related symptoms are influenced by the complex interaction of brain networks which were under explored.We explored age-related brain network differences between ADHD patients and typically developing(TD) subjects using resting state f MRI(rs-f MRI) for three age groups of children,adolescents,and adults.We collected rs-f MRI data from 184 individuals(27 ADHD children and 31 TD children;32 ADHD adolescents and 32 TD adolescents;and 31 ADHD adults and 31 TD adults).The Brainnetome Atlas was used to define nodes in the network analysis.We compared three age groups of ADHD and TD subjects to identify the distinct regions that could explain age-related brain network differences based on degree centrality,a well-known measure of nodal centrality.The left middle temporal gyrus showed significant interaction effects between disease status(i.e.,ADHD or TD) and age(i.e.,child,adolescent,or adult)(P 0.001).Additional regions were identified at a relaxed threshold(P 0.05).Many of the identified regions(the left inferior frontal gyrus,the left middle temporal gyrus,and the left insular gyrus) were related to cognitive function.The results of our study suggest that aberrant development in cognitive brain regions might be associated with age-related brain network changes in ADHD patients.These findings contribute to better understand how brain function influences the symptoms of ADHD.展开更多

It is also a new multidisciplinary based on behavioral science, cognitive science, information processing, system analysis and probability statistics in order to analyze, predict, reduce and prevent human errors. Firstly, the quantitative analysis model of HRA is proposed based on Markov process theory by using human error probability(HEP) and error correction cycle(ECC) as parameters. And human reliability evaluation criterion is built. Then, the HRA process considering error correction is proposed based on cognitive reliability and error analysis method(CREAM). Finally, according to the characteristics of armored vehicle system, common performance condition(CPC) in CREAM is improved.A reliability impact index is characterized by the overall contexts of tasks. Human reliability evaluation criterion of armored vehicle system is formulated. And the result of HRA is obtained based on the method presented in this paper. In addition, the relative weights are estimated by combining scale of 10/10—18/2 and analytical hierarchy process(AHP), and the triangular fuzzy number considering confidence factor and optimism index is adopted in order to reduce the subjectivity. The analysis results show that the method presented in this paper is reasonable and feasible. Meantime, the method can provide guidance for human reliability analysis of other weapon systems.展开更多
