Herein, this study proposes a complex geopolitical influence model, considering the affected nations' response. The geopolitical influences of great power in the affected nation are correlated with overall strength, the acceptance degree of the affected nation to the great power and the distance between both sides. Then, the geopolitical influences of China and the US in Southeast Asia countries are empirically analyzed from 2005 to 2015. The geopolitical influence of China in Southeast Asia has been largely growing for the past decades, accompanying with a constant trend of the US' effects. It is believed that China and the US can coexist peacefully in Southeast Asia to promote the regional development, and jointly create an open, inclusive and balanced regional cooperation architecture that benefits all nations in this region and great powers, through mutual political trust and economic beneficial cooperation. This study may contribute to advancing the policy debate and determining the optimal cooperation in pledging commitment to a new and sustainable model of great power relationship among the various regional geopolitical options.展开更多

The 1.5 ℃target imposes stricter requirements on China's nuclear power. Considering the available nuclear power plant sites, nuclear power layout, equipment manufacture & supply, nuclear power plant construction capacity, supportive operation & management talents, investment, cost effectiveness, and public acceptance, the achievement of the development objectives of nuclear power in China considering the 1.5 ℃ Target is difficult. The overall influential power of China development on international community was misunderstood. What we see is the role of "China Factor" in different fields. In the process of economic globalization, what economic system of capitalist market has seen is "China's cheap labor", "China's loose economic system environment", "earlier abuse of unlimited resource environment", "China's broad consumption market" and "demographic dividend". So there is no fuel price risk, and it, of course, does not include the environmental costs, such as carbon emissions. Because of these unique advantages, wind power has gradually become an important part of the strategy of sustainable development in China. Now with the growing voices on global greenhouse gas emission reduction, and as a clean and efficient energy, wind power has huge potential in combating climate change, energy security pressures and the needs for energy. Wind power in China began to develop from the 1980s. In the first 20 years, the speed of development was slow; but since 2004, it has had an extremely rapid growth. This paper, in order to study the development mechanism of China's wind power industry, investigated and analyzed the status quo of wind power industry in China, and then found that (1) the development trend of wind power industry in China appears exponential growth; (2) China's installed capacity of wind power is still smaller than that os some other countries; (3) new subsidy policies bring developing opportunities to wind power industry in China; (4) the sectors of wind power industry are in unbalanced growing; (5) the owners of proposed wind farms are too optimistic though the built wind farm had many problems. In addition, by using the methodology of Game Theory, this paper has also constructed the matrix of pre-assessing risks of China's wind power industry to further discuss the potential risk factors within China's wind power industry as risk factors of wind farm construction, risk factors of production of wind turbines, risk factors of parts and components manufacturing industry under risk indicators like R&D, patents, the domestic policy, the international policy, the quality of products and the market regulation, in order to provide a scientific assessment and self-assessment tool for investors or implementers, and also to promote the further development of the wind power industry.展开更多

And then this paper analyses the restriction mechanism of urbanization in West China: at the superficial level, the constraints of urbanization in West China arise from the shortage of capital; at the profound level, the backward culture contributes to the constraints of urbanization in West China. The thread of resolving restriction mechanism of urbanization in West China is put forward from system, economy and culture. On the basis of this thread, we construct the power system for the development of urbanization in West China. The power system for urbanization in West China should be propelled by "four forces", namely, pull of external forces, cohesive strength of regional market environment, expansion power inside countryside, traction of industrial structure adjustment. Innovation is the engine of impetus for urbanization in West China; spatial clustering and modernization of industry is the major driving force for urbanization; the government behaviour, driving of foreign investment, great projects and other forces are supplementary power. Via the main power, we should take the market as medium to achieve the role of power in promoting urbanization.展开更多

Globalization and the rise of China’s economy have had a significant impact on other economies around the world. China’s economic influence is becoming more and more important. On the basis of the sensitivity dependence and vulnerability dependence of asymmetric interdependence theory, the economic spillover between countries is selected to construct a quantitative model to measure economic power. This paper analyzes the evolution of China’s economic power both in time and space from 2000 to 2014. Four conclusions were drawn from the study: 1) The spatial spillover effect of China’s economy on other countries has been continuously growing since the beginning of the 21 st century, which has brought about the rapid increase in China’s economic power;2) China’s economic power has been significantly strengthened both in intensity and scope, having expanded from the surrounding countries to the whole world. In 2014, China had a high amount of economic power over 18 countries from the 41 main countries in the world, compared to 2 in 2000;3) China’s power in terms of sensitivity dependence takes on an evolutionary trend from point distribution to flaky growth, and it shows a process ‘from point to line’ from the aspect of spatial diffusion. Furthermore, China’s power in terms of vulnerability dependence shows a trend that extends from the surrounding countries to European and South American countries;4) comprehensively, China’s power in terms of vulnerability dependence is higher than that of sensitivity dependence, and the spatial distribution pattern demonstrates a process from centralization to decentralization from 2000 to 2014.展开更多

文摘Constructing an industrial system for a large-scale,non-grid-connected wind power industry is a key step towards the diverse utilization of wind power. However, wind power exploitation is not only a technical challenge but an industrial problem as well. The objective of this study is to introduce a concept of large-scale,non-grid-connected wind power(LSNGCWP) industrial zones and establish an evaluation model to assess their industrial arrangement. The data of wind energy, industry, nature resources and socio-economy were collected in this study.Using spatial overlay analysis of geographic information system, this study proposes a spatial arrangement of the LSNGCWP indus-trial zones in the coastal areas of China, which could be summarized as the 'one line and three circles' structure, which will contribute to the optimization of the industrial structure, advance the wind power technology, coordinate the multi-industrial cooperation, and upgrade the industrial transformation of China's coastal areas.
文摘Northeast China is one of the mostcentralized industrial areas in China. in whichthere are abundant natural resource.convenient transportation of railway andhighway, solid industrial basc. large-sized undmedium-sized state-owned enterprises as theleading role in national economy.higherindustrial level than domestic average level. Itprovides a good chance to develop the e1ectricDOwer industrv. Northeast China electricpower network was formed in theearliest time of the five domesticelectric power networks serving formore than one proxince. It hasranked first in installed capacity andfixed capital for past many yearscontinuously. Following theprogress of reform and opening to outside world. rapid development ofnational economic construction andrise of people’s living standard inurban and rural regions, the power system is ata new vigorous stage of development.Beforethe coming of new century. We are sure thatmore and more development potential of thepower system wi1l be brought into play and thepower system will stand at first rank of powersystems.
