Vocational Identity and Agency of Chinese College Students: Effects of Filial Piety and Implications in Career Education

Balancing family obligations and personal aspirations is crucial for college students in making life decisions.This critical review examined empirical studies on the effects of filial piety on college students’vocational identity and agency.According to identity capital theory,college students need a sense of agency to construct identity consciously and adapt to adulthood.Filial piety may profoundly influence this process as the core value and internalized social structure for the role of being an adult child in a Chinese family.However,no studies have been conducted from the identity capital perspective.This review found that filial piety had direct effects on college students'vocational identity and also indirect effects by shaping specific agency competencies.The impact of filial piety on the agency was more likely to occur through providing normative guidance about adult roles,influencing how college students view family as a supportive resource,and perpetuating parenting experiences.Based on these findings,this article suggested further examining the mediating role of agency between filial piety and identity development,as well as the effects of filial piety on the psychological foundation of agency development.This review suggested enhancing the agency of college students and encouraging reflections on filial piety in career education.

Relationship between Moral Elevation and Prosocial Behavior among College Students: The Mediating Role of Perceived Social Support and Moderating Role of Moral Identity

Objectives:The present study examined the relationship between college students’moral elevation and prosocial behavior.As well as the mediating role of perceived social support and the moderating role of moral identity.Methods:A sample of 489 college students were recruited for the study.They were asked to complete a series of questionnaires,including Moral Elevation Scale(MES),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),Moral Identity Scale(MIS)and Prosocial Tendency Measure(PTM).As part of the data analysis,we used correlation analysis and the method of constructing latent variable structural equation model to explore the mechanism of action among variables.Results:After controlling for gender,discipline,the research found that:(1)Moral elevation positively predicted the prosocial behavior among the college students;(2)Perceived social support mediated the relationship between moral elevation and prosocial behavior;(3)Moral identity moderated the second half of the model(i.e.,the link between perceived social support and prosocial behavior).Specifically,the mediating effect of perceived social support was stronger for college students with high-level moral identity compared to those with low-level moral identity.Conclusions:Moral identity significantly moderates the mediating effect of perceived social support,and the mediating model with moderated is established.

Study on Professional Identity of College EFL Teachers—A Survey in the City of Shanghai,China

As an important aspect of the inner world of teachers,the study of professional identity is attracting more and more attention from researchers at home and abroad.Through a questionnaire survey based on CETPII(College English Teachers’Professional Identity Inventory),the paper analyzes the college EFL teacher professional identity.The findings show that college EFL teachers in China have high professional identity,but the four factors constituting professional identity are scored differently.Occupational behavior tendency ranks the highest.Also,there are significant differences among teachers of different ages and teaching years.

Research on Present Situation and Countermeasure of Identity Recognition among Current College Students towards Socialist Core Value System

The value identity emphasizes the harmony and consistency between the different value concepts. In general, it includes three stages, namely cognition, internalization and externalization. By the investigation on the present situation of college students＇ socialist core value system identity, it can be found that, at present, there is a good development momentum of our country＇s higher vocational school students＇ thoughts in general. But it also exists some problems that can＇t be ignored. Therefore, the top priority should be focused on the students＇ physical and mental characteristics. We should reform the current education methods gradually, steadily enhance the college students＇ identity, emotion and behavior cognition of socialist core value system, and gradually strengthen the ideological construction of college students, so as to make them better serve the socialist modernization.

Research Status of Career Identity of Chinese College Students in 2010-2018

This paper sorts out the research on the current college students＇ career identity in China. From the analysis of the number, the object and the content of the researches, expound the significance, the role, the existing problems and the solutions of the college students＇ career idenlity. It is pointed out that there are some problems of college students in China. such as the number of studies are few. the research direction is single, more empirical research and less qualitative research, fewer enforceable schemes etc. Further research can effectively improve the number and qualily ofemploynment of college students, and will also effeciively provide protection for social development.

On the Influence of Volunteerism upon College Students’Moral Identity

Individual moral conscience is the origin and prerequisite of one’s volunteerism while participating in voluntary service is an effective way to improve one’s moral cultivation.By studying the status quos of college students’volunteerism,the author analyzes the correlation between volunteerism and moral identity.The author concludes that by helping college students internalize their volunteerism,their moral identity would be improved to a higher state,which in turns improves their individual morality.

Research and Practice on High Availability Scheme of Unified Identity Authentication System Based on CAS in Colleges and Universities

Unified identity authentication has become the basic information service provided by colleges and universities for teachers and students. Security, stability, high concurrency and easy maintenance are our requirements for a unified identity authentication system. Based on the practical work experience of China University of Geosciences (Beijing), this paper proposes a high availability scheme of unified identity authentication system based on CAS, which is composed of multiple CAS Servers, Nginx for load balancing, and Redis as a cache database. The scheme has been practiced in China University of Geosciences (Beijing), and the application effect is good, which has practical reference significance for other universities.

A Study on the Mechanism of Cohort Effect on the Formation of National Identity among College Students

The lack of subjective awareness of national identity among young people is a common phenomenon in all countries.In this paper,we investigate the role of cohort effect in the formation of national identity among college students based on the theory of cohort effect.The results of the empirical study show that at the current stage,the formation of national identity within the group of Chinese college students mainly relies on the herding mechanism,followed by the competition mechanism and then the learning mechanism.

Survey and Educational Research on the National Music Identity of University Students——Taking Three Universities in the Western Part of Guangdong Province as an Example

The integration and penetration of disciplines is the driving force for innovation.This paper investigates the national music identity of students in three universities in the Western Part of GuangDong Province by questionnaires and interviews,and obtains a series of data related to contemporary university and college students’music literacy.Data and phenomena indicate:University and students have“high degree of identity”and“low participation consciousness”for national music.They are willing to be onlookers,and they are reluctant to join the inheritance and in-depth study,lacking opinions on music appreciation and performance learning;the contact with music only stays at the level of recreation.The artistic and functional nature of music has not played a role in the development of college students’own disciplines;from the choice of music,they can be seen that they have a negative and confused mentality in their academic and social activities,but they can still be released in music,so they adhere to the undisturbed appreciation environment.The campus music popularization education should be strengthened and guided,and appropriate music quality courses should be added to the above phenomena,and experts should be organized to integrate the national music representing the“hometown music”to lay the foundation for the future outstanding talent training.

师德建设是高校教师队伍建设的核心内容,新时代高校师德建设要在进一步高扬党性立场和国家意志的前提下,充分尊重师德养成规律,积极反映新时代要求和教师的内在诉求,体现建设理念和策略创新。认同、关怀和参与是新时代高校师德建设策略优化的三个向度。高校要通过强化师德认同教育,全面关怀教师发展,支持教师参与师德建设,打造和谐的师德建设环境,让师德教育更加走心走实,进一步彰显师德建设的主体性、生活性和情境性,全面服务教师道德成长。

基于元分析的大学生专业认同影响因素研究

专业认同水平关系到大学生能力发展、专业发展乃至高等教育事业的发展,探究大学生专业认同的影响因素对提高专业认同具有重要意义,然而既有研究结论并不统一,为此,本研究对30项实证研究进行元分析。结果表明,影响大学生专业认同的因素包括13个:个人特质、学习兴趣、学习动机、学习效能、专业价值观(统称为微观因素),教师指导、重要他人、课程设置、科研活动、学校环境(统称为中观因素),专业培养定位、社会认可度、专业前景(统称为宏观因素),均正向显著影响专业认同。其中,宏观因素对专业认同的影响最大,微观因素的影响次之,均有高度影响,中观因素的影响最小,有中等影响。与此同时,各因素对专业认同的影响还受学生类型、专业类别、学校所在地区的调节。最后,结合元分析结果,为提高大学生专业认同提出针对性建议。

“三全育人”视域下高校辅导员职能的泛化与回归

基于习近平总书记“育人的根本在于立德”的重要论述和高校“三全育人”综合改革的实践要求,高校辅导员存在职能泛化现象,即角色定位模糊,职责边界不明;高校思政工作整体规划不够,法治化程度有待提高;队伍配比设置不到位不科学致使辅导员工作分工失衡;学生工作的复杂性导致辅导员职能难以聚焦。实现高校辅导员职能的有效回归,可以在“大思政”格局中明确辅导员职能任务、增强主体性、提升核心能力、营造辅导员发展的良好氛围。

系统观念视域下大学生主流意识形态认同教育的多维分析

基于系统观念进行大学生主流意识形态认同教育,是做好意识形态工作的题中应有之义,是关系到为我国社会主义建设培养合格的建设者和接班人的重大问题。大学生主流意识形态认同教育是由教育目的、教育主体、教育客体、教育载体和教育内容等要素相互作用而构成的一项系统工程。这一系统工程呈现出鲜明的整体性、层次性、开放性和发展性等系统特质。在系统观念的指导下,要以顶层设计为保障,以要素耦合为依托,以具体落实为基础,以斗争精神为支柱,优化大学生主流意识形态认同教育。

自我损耗对大学生网络欺凌的影响:一个有调节的中介模型

为了探讨自我损耗对大学生网络欺凌的影响及其内在作用机制,以485名大学生作为研究对象,采用自我损耗量表、道德认同量表和网络欺凌量表进行问卷调查,结果发现:(1)自我损耗在有否留守经历、贫困类型上存在显著性差异,网络欺凌在性别、贫困类型上存在显著性差异,道德认同在有否留守经历上存在显著性差异;(2)自我损耗与道德认同呈显著负相关,与网络欺凌呈显著正相关;道德认同与网络欺凌呈显著负相关;(3)自我损耗可以直接影响大学生网络欺凌,也可以通过道德认同的中介作用间接影响大学生网络欺凌;(4)年级对自我损耗影响大学生网络欺凌的直接效应和道德认同的中介效应的前半段起调节作用,相较于低年级大学生,高年级大学生的直接效应更强,但道德认同的中介效应更弱。

课程思政教学实践中高校英语教师的语用身份及其建构

高校英语教师在课程思政教学实践中不仅承担着培养学生外语技能的任务,还肩负思政育人的重要使命。教师在课程思政教学实践中通过语体选择、话语内容、言语行为、语法与词汇选择、称谓语选择等语用策略来构建自己语言知识传授者及思政教育实践者的双重语用身份。课程思政教学实践中高校英语教师不同语用身份的建构具有策略多模态性及语境顺应动态性的特点。

就业能力对高校毕业生慢就业选择的影响

近年来,越来越多的高校毕业生打破以往“毕业即就业”惯例,选择加入慢就业这一新群体之中。梳理相关文献发现,社会各界对高校毕业生的慢就业选择褒贬不一,这与慢就业中包含了主动、被动两类群体密切相关。以就业能力这一兼具主客观要素的复合因素为切入点,采用logit等实证方法来分析慢就业选择背后的深层次成因及其微观作用机制。研究发现,就业能力是影响高校毕业生慢就业选择的关键因素,就业能力越高,选择主动慢就业的概率越大,反之亦然;在作用机制上,就业能力在家庭背景、专业认同与慢就业选择倾向中发挥了部分中介作用,且家庭背景、专业认同在塑造就业能力过程中可能扮演了相得益彰的“互补效应”;在进一步讨论中,发现就业能力亦是区分已就业与被动慢就业两类群体的重要标尺,与已就业群体相比,选择被动慢就业的毕业生就业能力明显缺乏,特别是数智时代所需的职业适应力、创新力与学习力等必备技能。研究分别从毕业生个人、高校以及家庭等视角提出相应的对策建议。

大学英语教师职业认同研究现状及展望

我国国际地位与发展战略给大学英语教学提出新的要求,而大学英语教师职业认同是落实新要求的关键环节。该研究系统评述大学英语教师职业认同研究的发展趋势、理论立场、研究主题和研究方法,并通过与国际外语教师职业认同研究的对比,发现此方面研究尚属新兴阶段,研究总量少,理论立场尚需探索,研究主题有待拓展,研究方法亟需规范。基于此,该研究从理论立场、研究主题、研究方法三个方面对我国大学英语教师职业认同研究进行展望。
