By the requirements of the Ministry of Education on life safety education, colleges, and universities have set up a course on Sports Injury and First Aid to organize relevant knowledge and increase the student’s awareness of first aid knowledge so that they can use reasonable methods to address sport-related injuries. At the same time, they can cope with first-aid situations and assist rescuers in completing resuscitation activities. This paper is based on the study of three colleges in Chongqing. This paper selected students from 3 universities in Chongqing and evaluated the mastery of first aid knowledge of college students, pointing out the value of implementing the “Sports Injury and First Aid” course in colleges and universities. This can provide opportunities to improve the theoretical content of the discipline, actively carry out practical activities, reasonably set the assessment method, and provide basic protection to ensure that the “Sports Injury and First Aid” course can be carried out normally to improve the mastery level of students’ first aid knowledge. 展开更多

Such universality is due to the development of modern rationality, to establish a relat... The concern of the ethics and the meaning of life in young adults became universal and are present in all contexts of human life. Such universality is due to the development of modern rationality, to establish a relationship between the intrinsic theoretical dimensions (scientific) and practical dimensions (ethical), originated that are present in the own array of knowledge. This descriptive cross-sectional study, aims to identify the values of the ethical dimension and meaning of life defended by the college students of the Universities of Madeira, Portugal and Fortaleza, Brazil. The sample consists of 605 University students (Madeira = 225 and Fortaleza = 380), with an average age of 21 years and a standard deviation of 2. We used the questionnaire on values (adapted from the European Values Survey). Most of the young people referred to have a religion (60% wood and 78.4% stronghold), being the most Catholic, however, present in your frequency disinterest and, yet, in Brazil there is a greater diversity of religions. Supporting the intervention of religious institutions in situations of everyday life is accepted mostly by Brazilians, with the exception of politics (35.5%). On the other hand, the university students of the University of Madeira understand that Religious Institutions should only give their opinion on racial discrimination (76.6%). Believe in God (90.8% and 55.1% Stronghold) and Soul (80.3% and 66.4% Stronghold) are beliefs more referred to by college students. These results are intended to contribute in the field of research on ethical values and meaning of life in young people. This study contributes to future comparative research among university students and to developing strategic programs in education and health, increasing the success and excellence in the formation of a full citizenship, preventing the fanaticisms and the social discrimination that today devastate the collective globally. 展开更多

Purpose: This study examines Chinese college students’ awareness of ethical issues surrounding the use of information resources and the Internet and their attitude to these issues. Design/methodology/approach: A survey was conducted. Two hundred questionnaires were distributed to students of 9 universities at different levels in Tianjin, China; 171 were returned. Descriptive statistics were performed to analyze the data. Findings: The results indicate that Chinese college students usually ignored the negative influence of fake or pornographic or other indecent information, invasion of privacy and theft of confidential information, and violation of intellectual property rights. Although they could distinguish to some extent between ethical and unethical behavior, they were not concerned about others’ unethical behavior on the Web. The study also indicates that gender, age, academic major and expertise in using computers were related to the students’ awareness of ethical issues relating to the use of the Internet and their attitude to these issues.Research limitations: The sample is limited to the universities in Tianjin. A larger sample, which includes colleges and universities in the western or other developing areas in China, is needed to further validate our findings.Practical implications: The study helps educators and academic librarians better understand Chinese college students’ awareness of and attitude to ethical issues surrounding the use of the Internet. It thus could assist them in the improvement of information ethics education for college students.Originality/value: This study was one of the first empirical studies to investigate the factors influencing Chinese college students’ awareness of and attitude to Internet ethical issues. 展开更多

健康资本是与知识、技能资本同等重要的人力资本,高校体育生活化是有效地形成和提升大学生体质健康资本的重要路径。运用文献资料法、问卷调查法和观察法,对大学生的健康资本形成的现状与挑战进行探究。结果显示,当前面向全体大学生的... 健康资本是与知识、技能资本同等重要的人力资本,高校体育生活化是有效地形成和提升大学生体质健康资本的重要路径。运用文献资料法、问卷调查法和观察法,对大学生的健康资本形成的现状与挑战进行探究。结果显示,当前面向全体大学生的高校体育生活化尚存在诸多矛盾,如大学生自身健康资本价值认知较为淡薄,校园体育竞赛活动存在精英化倾向,体育场馆设施供给相对不足,体育社团组织建设滞后难以满足学生个性化需求,校园体育锻炼氛围不够浓厚等原因阻碍着大学生健康资本形成。建议:引导大学生树立正确健康资本价值观念,多渠道营造校园面向人人的生活体育氛围,科学运行体育场馆设施以满足学生日常体育锻炼需要,构建“一站式”体育服务社区提高健康资本积累便捷性,铸牢大学生“健康第一责任人”意识,使体育真正成为大学生日常生活习惯。 展开更多

常态还是特例:大学生体育爱好者体质健康测试成绩少有优秀

大学生体质持续下滑,而体育兴趣爱好持续升高,该结果有悖于兴趣爱好提升体质的普遍认知。为了考察大学生体育兴趣爱好与体质健康的关系以及爱好者对应体质健康成绩情况,采用随机抽样和准实验研究比较体育爱好者与非爱好者之间的体质健... 大学生体质持续下滑,而体育兴趣爱好持续升高,该结果有悖于兴趣爱好提升体质的普遍认知。为了考察大学生体育兴趣爱好与体质健康的关系以及爱好者对应体质健康成绩情况,采用随机抽样和准实验研究比较体育爱好者与非爱好者之间的体质健康测试数据,结果显示:男女生体育爱好者测试总分都显著高于对照组(P<0.05);男生立定跳远、50 m、引体向上3项指标显著优于对照组(P<0.01),肺活量、坐位体前屈、1000 m跑3项指标的差值不显著;女生50 m和800 m显著优于对照组(P<0.01),肺活量、立定跳远、1 min仰卧起坐、坐位体前屈4项指标的差值不显著;相比于国家学生体质健康测试优秀标准,除肺活量外,男女生体育爱好者总分和各指标优秀率都很低。大学生体育爱好者体质发展不均衡、达到国家优秀水平少,仍需在体育教学中予以关注和综合干预。 展开更多
