Blended teaching can organically integrate face-to-face classroom teaching and online teaching, so as to achieve the best teachingeffect. Based on this, first of all, the current situation of higher mathematics teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges in China andthe drawbacks in the teaching process were pointed out in this study;then the characteristics of Higher Vocational students'mathematics learning and their needs for blended teaching were analyzed;finally, a new blended teaching mode was put forwardand the effectiveness of this new teaching mode was proved through experiments. The application of blended teaching mode inmathematics classroom teaching can combine online and offline teaching and learning, which can not only provide students withresources and conditions beyond the traditional teaching system, but also provide broad prospects for teachers' teachingdevelopment, this is conducive to improving students' ability of independent learning, analyzing and solving practical problems,and to cultivating high-quality practical talents. 展开更多

Firstly, the paper analyzes the value of teaching competition in the process of teaching reform and practice of ideological and political courses in higher vocational colleges, which mainly includes sharing the teaching experience of ideological and political teachers, facilitating the ideological and political teachers to learn from the professional education elements appearing in the follow-up teaching, and contributing to the creation of an active and active teaching atmosphere. Secondly, it analyzes the educational principles that ideological and political teachers should adhere to in the teaching competition, including focusing on the principle of the unity of education leading and subjectivity, strengthening the principle of unity of content and form, and effectively implementing the principle of combining document spirit with subject characteristics. Thirdly, it points out the problems that need to be paid attention to in the ideological and political course teaching of higher vocational colleges based on the teaching competition in the current stage, including the topic selection problem, the attraction of competition teaching, and the standardization and institutionalization of the coordination of competition teaching organization. Finally, five teaching reforms and practical methods of ideological and political courses in higher vocational colleges based on teaching competitions are proposed, which promotes the improvement of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. 展开更多

Engineering Mechanics is an important subject for science and engineering students in higher vocational colleges.The teaching quality of this course has a direct impact on subsequent professional courses.However,there has been a concern about the poor teaching effect of Engineering Mechanics in higher vocational colleges for a long time.In order to solve the problem and improve the teaching quality,this paper expounds some problems existing in the teaching of Engineering Mechanics in higher vocational colleges and proposes corresponding measures for these problems.Educators need to pay more attention to diversified assessment methods and the application of new technologies.Diversified examination methods can improve students’enthusiasm in learning,while new techniques,such as finite element simulation,generate digital materials,making it easier for students to understand abstract concepts.The suggested measures are worthy of reference and should be applied flexibly in the teaching of Engineering Mechanics. 展开更多
