By the final stage of the Soviet Union Georgia had a well-developed tourist-resort infrastructure; there were tens of particularly important resorts centers and several hundreds of tourist headquarters. Hundreds of thousands of astonished foreigners or soviet tourists used to visit country every year. They had an opportunity to enjoy pleasantness of each natural area from subtropics of the Black Sea to glaciers of the Caucasus, from Kolkheti Valley to Alazani Valley, Darially Valley to Vardzia--all the tourist routes were filled of natural sights or historical monuments. In 2015 the faculty of Natural Sciences of Ivane Javakhishvili State University conducted a research--Research and Popularization of Natural Monuments of Endogenous Origin in River Rioni Basin EN/15/2015. During research it was revealed very interesting and unique naturally remarkable places, which have a great potential of consumption allowing regions to develop tourist potential. Within frames of the project it was possible to search unique forms of relief, visit and evaluate on spot; in case of necessity include specialists for conducting further ground researches. Recommendations were made to grant status of natural monument to these forms. Meetings were held with the local population in order to notify them importance of the objects within their region and reveal new and unknown places which can be studied in the future.展开更多

Furthermore, the axial stress-axial strain relations between laterally confined concrete under axial compression and multiaxial stress-strain relations for steel at constant high temperatures were studied. Finally, based on continuum mechanics, the mechanics model for concentric cylinders of circular steel tube with concrete core of entire section loaded at constant high temperatures was established. Applying elasto-plastic analysis method, a FORTRAN program was developed, and the concrete-filled circular steel tubular (CFST) stub colunms at constant high temperatures were analyzed. The analysis results are in agreement with the experiment ones from references.展开更多

However. most of previous works are usually for a soil column of infinite dimension. Starting from the one-dimension transient solute transport equation and its boundary and initial condition for a solute transport problem of soil column of finite length, this work has successfully applied a variable transformation to simplify the partial differential equation of solute transport problem. And an analytical serial solution for the simplified equation is then established by the so-called separated variable method and the superposition method. Compared with numerical methods such as finite different method and finite element method, this analytical solution is more accurate and of higher computation efficiency. In addition, the solution procedure presented could be extended for applications such as quality analysis, design of physical experimentation, or parameter estimation and measurement of solute transport problems.展开更多
