The combined deformation and mechanical properties of filament-wound cylinder of filament reinforced composite materials are investigated. A method of using filament-winding composites to reduce the amplitude of torsion vibration in the case of special stimulated vibration is established. A design formula of anisotropic filament-wound cylinder to reduce the torsion vibration of axle components is obtained. The results indicate that by putting the filament-wound cylinder on an axis, the torsion vibration of the axis can be reduced effectively. 展开更多

The mining area deformation monitoring theory and method using precise point positioning (PPP) ambi- guity resolution (AR) were studied, and an ambiguity fixing model with satellite and receiver combina- tion phase delay (CPD) was proposed for zero-differenced PPP ambiguity fixing and its corresponding formula derivation was given. The data processing results for I h at six IGS stations in China show that 93% of ambiguities can be fixed within 10 min and all ambiguities can be fixed within 15 min. After ambi- guity fixing, the positioning accuracy is improved by more than 85% in the E and N directions, with abso- lute positioning accuracy reaching millimeter level, and it was improved by 70% in the U direction, reaching centimeter level; the proposed zero-differenced ambiguity fixing model can effectively improve the convergence rate and positioning accuracy in PPP. Data monitoring continuously conducted for half a year at four COPS stations of Shanxi China Coal Pingshuo Group validated the feasibility of using PPP in mining area deformation monitoring. 展开更多

In the longitudinal seismic deformation method for shield tunnels,one of the most commonly used is the longitudinal equivalent stiffness beam model(LES)for simulating the mechanical behavior of the lining.In this model,axial deformation and bending deformation are independent,so the equivalent stiffness is a constant value.However,the actual situation is that axial deformation and bending deformation occur simultaneously,which is not considered in LES.At present,we are not clear about the effect on the calculation results when axial deformation and bending deformation occur simultaneously.Therefore,in this paper,we improve the traditional LES by taking the relative deformation as a load and considering the coordinated deformation of axial and bending degrees of freedom.This improved model is called DNLES,and its neutral axis equations are an explicit expression.Then,we propose an iterative algorithm to solve the calculation model of the DNLES-based longitudinal seismic deformation method.Through a calculation example,we find that the internal forces based on LES are notably underestimated than those of DNLES in the compression bending zone,while are overestimated in the tension bending zone.When considering the combined effect,the maximum bending moment reached 13.7 times that of the LES model,and the axial pressure and tension were about 1.14 and 0.96 times,respectively.Further analysis reveals the coordinated deformation process in the axial and bending directions of the shield tunnel,which leads to a consequent change in equivalent stiffness.This explains why,in the longitudinal seismic deformation method,the traditional LES may result in unreasonable calculation results. 展开更多

There is a pressing demand for the development of novel birefringent crystals tailored for compact optical components,especially for crystals exhibiting large birefringence across a range of temperatures.This has commonly been achieved by introducing various deformable groups with high polarizability anisotropy.In this study,we combined both rigid and deformable groups to synthesise a new birefringent crystal,Al_(2)Te_(2)MoO_(10),which demonstrates an exceptional birefringence value of 0.29@550 nm at room temperature.Not only is this higher birefringence than that of commercial crystals,but Al_(2)Te_(2)MoO_(10)exhibits excellent birefringence stability over a wide temperature range,from 123 to 503 K.In addition,the first-principles theory calculations and structural analyses suggest that although the rigid AlO_(6)groups do not make much contribution to the prominent birefringence,they nonetheless played a role in maintaining the structural anisotropy at elevated temperatures.Based on these findings,this paper proposes a novel structural design strategy to complement conventional approaches for developing optimal birefringent crystals under various environmental conditions. 展开更多
