The relationships between the polaron's ground state energy and the Coulomb bound potential, electric field, magnetic field, and well-width are derived and discussed. Our numerical results show that the absolute value of the polaron's ground state energy increases as the electric field and the Coulomb bound potential increase, and decreases as the well-width and the magnetic field strength increase. When the well-width is small, the quantum size effect is significant.展开更多

We then study the effect of temperature on the vibrational frequency and the ground state binding energy of the strong-coupling polaron in the rod. The two quantities are expressed as functions of the aspect ratio of the ellipsoid, the transverse and the longitudinal effective confinement lengths, the temperature and the electron-phonon coupling strength by linear combination operator and unitary transformation methods. It is found that the vibrational frequency and the ground state binding energy will increase rapidly with decreasing transverse and longitudinal effective confinement lengths. They are increasing functions of the electron- phonon coupling strength but become decreasing ones of the temperature and the aspect ratio.展开更多

It turns out that this squeezing operator just diagonalizes the Hamiltonian H=p^21/2m1+m1ω^21x^21/2+p^222m2+m2ω^22x^22/2-λx2p1 so its ground state is a one- and two-mode combination squeezed state. Methods Forty-five patients with scoliosis resulting from NF-1 were treated surgically from 1984 to 2002. Mean age at operation was 14.2 years. There were 6 nondystrophic curves and 39 dystrophic curves depended on their radiographic featu- res. According to their apical vertebrae location, the dystrophic curves were divided into three subgroups: thoracic curve (apical vertebra at T8 or above), thoracolumbar curve (apical vertebra below T8 and above L1), and lumber curve (apical vertebra at L1 and below). Posterior spine fusion, combined anterior and posterior spine fusion were administrated based on the type and location of the curves. Mean follow-up was 6.8 years. Clinical and radiological manifestations were investigated and results were assessed. Results Three patients with muscle weakness of low extremities recovered entirely. Two patients with dystrophic lum- bar curve maintained their low back pain the same as preoperatively. The mean coronal and sagittal Cobb’s angle in nondy- strophic curves was 80.3o and 61.7o before operation, 30.7o and 36.9o after operation, and 32.9o and 42.1o at follow-up, respectively. In dystrophic thoracic curves, preoperative Cobb’s angle in coronal and sagittal plane was 96.5o and 79.8o, postoperative 49.3o and 41.7o, follow-up 54.1o and 45.3o, respectively. In thoracolumbar curves, preoperative Cobb’s angle in coronal and sagittal plane was 75.0o and 47.5o, postoperative 31.2o and 22.8o, follow-up 37.5o and 27.8o, respectively. In lumbar curves preoperative Cobb’s angle in coronal plane was 55.3o, postoperative 19.3o, and follow-up 32.1o. Six patients with dystrophic curves had his or her curve deteriorated more than 10 degrees at follow-up. Three of them were in the thoracic subgroup and their kyphosis was larger than 95 degrees, and three in lumbar subgroup. Hardware failure occurred in 3 cases. Six patients had 7 revision procedures totally. Conclusions Posterior spinal fusion is effective for most dystrophic thoracic curves in patients whose kyphosis is less than 95 degrees. Combined anterior and posterior spinal fusion is stronger recommended for patients whose kyphosis is larger than 95 degrees and those whose apical vertebra is located below T8. Patients should be informed that repeated spine fusion might be necessary even after combined anterior and posterior spine fusion.展开更多

Minimally invasive methods have developed in recent years. The subcutaneous trimming method with small incision reduces the incision compared to traditional incision, but still requires skin incision, which does not achieve true, minimally invasive treatment. Simple negative pressure suction is difficult to destroy the sweat glands and sebaceous glands in the dermis layer. Thus, we hypothesized that combination of three minimally invasive methods might be more effective. Objective: To explore the clinical effect of combined treatment of axillary osmidrosis by three minimally invasive methods of microwave, scraping & suction and scratching. Methods: From October 2015 to October 2020, 80 patients with underarm odor were enrolled and lacal swelling anesthetic was applied. Microwave was used to treat sweat glands and sebaceous glands in the dermis following the pores. The curettage-aspiration was used to scrape and suck the apocrine sweat glands in the subcutaneous fat layer and the junction between the subcutaneous fat and dermis. To achieve the purpose of minimally invasive and thorough treatment of underarm odor, the spoon scraped the remaining sweat gland tissue. Results: Among 80 patients on 160 sides, all cases (100.00%) were cured on 160 sides at 1 month post-operative follow-up, 75 cases (93.75%) were cured on 150 sides, 5 cases (6.25%) on 5 sides were ineffective at 6-month post-operative follow-up, 74 cases (92.50%) were cured on 148 sides, 6 cases (7.50%) on 5 sides were ineffective at 1-year post-operative follow-up. Complications occurred in 5 cases (6.25%) after operation: 2 cases (2.50%) with skin necrosis on 3 sides, 1 case (1.25%) with uneven skin on 2 sides, 1 case (1.25%) with axillary abscess on 2 sides, and 1 case (1.25%) with keloids on 2 sides. Conclusion: The combination of three minimally invasive methods of microwave, scraping & suction and scratching to treat underarm odor is simple operation, has high cure rate, quick postoperative recovery, and few complications. It is an effective method for minimally invasive and thorough treatment of underarm odor in clinic.展开更多

The best surgical treatment remains controversial. This study aimed to analyze the early and long-term results of simultaneous surgical treatment of severe heart disease and neoplasms. Methods We reviewed the clinical records of 15 patients who underwent simultaneous neoplastic resection and cardiac surgery between September 2006 and January 2011. There were 5 male and 10 female patients. The mean age was (59.2±12.5) years and the mean left ventricular ejection fraction was (57.4±11.0)%. All patients were followed up completely for a period of 12 to 51 months (mean, (33.1±11.2) months). Results Fifteen patients underwent simultaneous cardiac surgery and neoplastic resection. Cardiac procedures consisted of off pump coronary artery bypass grafting (n=7), aortic valve replacement (n=3), mitral valve replacement (n=3), mitral valve replacement with coronary artery bypass grafting (n=1) and left atrial myxoma resection (n=1). Neoplastic resection consisted of lung cancer resection (n=5), colonic cancer resection (n=3), gallbladder resection (n=1), colonic cancer resection with gallbladder resection (n=1), hysterectomy (n=2), hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (n=2) and left ovariectomy (n=1). Pathological examination confirmed malignant disease in 10 patients and benign disease in 5 patients. There were no perioperative myocardial infarctions, stroke, pericardial tamponade, renal failure or hospital deaths. The most frequent complications were atrial fibrillation (33.3%), pneumonia (26.7%), low cardiac output syndrome (6.7%) and delayed healing of surgical wounds (6.7%). There was 1 late death 42 months after surgery for recurrent malignant disease. At 1 and 3 years, survival rates were 100% (Kaplan-Meier method). Conclusions Simultaneous cardiac surgery and neoplastic resection was not associated with increased early or late morbidity or mortality. Cardiopulmonary bypass does not appear to adversely affect survival in patients with malignant disease. The long-term survival was determined by tumor stage.展开更多

Our cal- culated results show that the vibrational frequency increases with increasing cyclotron frequency of the magnetic field; meanwhile, the absolute value of the ground state energy and the ground state binding energy decrease. The vibrational frequency, the absolute value of the ground state energy and the ground state binding energy are in- creasing functions of the barrier height of the AGCPQW. It is shown that the barrier height of the AGCPQW and the magnetic field are important factors that influence the properties of the magnetopolaron in AGCPQW.展开更多

By using the first derivative of the kernel function, we obtain a lower estimate for the essential norms of these operators acting on the Dirichlet space D and S2. In this paper, we propose a novel local/global parameterization approach, ARAP++, for singleand multi-boundary triangular meshes. It is an extension of the as-rigid-as-possible(ARAP) approach, which stitches together 1-ring patches instead of individual triangles. To optimize the spring energy, we introduce a linear iterative scheme which employs convex combination weights and a fitting Jacobian matrix corresponding to a prescribed family of transformations. Our algorithm is simple, efficient, and robust. The geometric properties(angle and area)of the original model can also be preserved by appropriately prescribing the singular values of the fitting matrix. To reduce the area and stretch distortions for high-curvature models, a stretch operator is introduced. Numerical results demonstrate that ARAP++ outperforms several state-of-the-art methods in terms of controlling the distortions of angle, area, and stretch. Furthermore, it achieves a better visualization performance for several applications, such as texture mapping and surface remeshing.展开更多

The long-term survival was determined by tumor stage.

文摘The universal combination operation model is a comprehensive decision model of continuous-valued logic. It overcomes limitations of the scope of operations of reasoning operators in the current comprehensive decision-making system. This article discusses relationship of mutual information and general correlation coefficient and gives the corresponding rules of them, the optimal matching operator is selected to complete fuzzy decision according to mutual information between candidate attributes. The relationship of mutual information between attributes and generalized correlative coefficient provides the principle to select the matching operator. According to the results of experiment, it is more reasonable to enhance classified precision effectively. There is a certain application value of the article's method.

文摘The nuclear system is a promising area for demonstrating practical quantum advantage.A comprehensive computation of a nuclear system in a classical computer is beyond the capacity of current classical computers. With the rapid development of hardware, the prospect of using quantum computers in nuclear physics is close at hand.In this paper,we report a full quantum package,QCSH,for solving a nuclear shell model in a quantum computer.QCSH uses the linear combination of the unitary formalism of quantum computing and performs all calculations in a quantum computer. The complexities of qubit resource and the number of basic gates of QCSH are both polynomials to the number of nucleons in nuclei. For example,QCSH is used to calculate the binding energies of 12 light nuclei(i.e.,^(2)H,^(3)H,^(3)He,^(4)He,^(6)Li,^(7)Li,^(12)C,^(14)N,^(16)O,^(17)O,^(23)Na,and^(40)Ca).Moreover,we experimentally demonstrate the calculation of deuteron binding energy using a superconducting quantum processor. The result indicates that QCSH can provide meaningful results already in near-term quantum devices.

文摘: The effects of a magnetic field on the vibrational frequency, the ground state energy and the ground state binding energy of a weak-coupling polaron in asymmetrical Gaussian confinement potential quantum well (AGCPQW) are investigated by using linear combination operator and unitary transformation methods. It is shown that the barrier height of the AGCPQW and the magnetic field are important factors that influence the properties of the magnetopolaron in AGCPQW.
文摘In this paper, linear combinations of composition operators acting on weighted Dirichlet spaces are studied. By using the first derivative of the kernel function, we obtain a lower estimate for the essential norms of these operators acting on the Dirichlet space D and S2. For general weighted Dirichlet space, by using complex interpolation methods, we characterize the compactness of these operators induced by linear fractional self-maps of the disk.

文摘Mesh parameterization is one of the fundamental operations in computer graphics(CG) and computeraided design(CAD). Furthermore, it achieves a better visualization performance for several applications, such as texture mapping and surface remeshing.

文摘The Hamiltonian of a quantum rod with an ellipsoidal boundary is given after a coordinate transformation which changes the ellipsoidal boundary into a spherical one.We then study the first internal excited state energy, the excitation energy and the frequency of the transition spectral line between the first internal excited state and the ground state of the strong-coupling polaron in a quantum rod.The effects of the electron-phonon coupling strength, the aspect ratio of the ellipsoid, the transverse radius of quantum rods and the transverse and longitudinal effective confinement length are taken into consideration by using a linear combination operator and the unitary transformation methods. It is found that the first internal excited state energy, the excitation energy and the frequency of the transition spectral line are increasing functions of the electron-phonon coupling strength, whereas they are decreasing ones of the transverse radius of quantum rods and the aspect ratio. The first internal excited state energy, the excitation energy and the frequency of the transition spectral line increase with decreasing transverse and longitudinal effective confinement length.
