This paper is mainly concerned with entire solutions of the following two-species Lotka-Volterra competition system with nonlocal(convolution)dispersals:{u_(t)=k*u-u+u(1-u-av),x∈R,t∈R,vt=d(k*v-v)+rv(1-v-bu),c∈R,t∈R.(0.1)Here a≠1,b≠1,d,and r are positive constants.By studying the eigenvalue problem of(0.1)linearized at(ϕc(ξ),0),we construct a pair of super-and sub-solutions for(0.1),and then establish the existence of entire solutions originating from(ϕc(ξ),0)as t→−∞,whereϕc denotes the traveling wave solution of the nonlocal Fisher-KPP equation ut=k*u−u+u(1−u).Moreover,we give a detailed description on the long-time behavior of such entire solutions as t→∞.Compared to the known works on the Lotka-Volterra competition system with classical diffusions,this paper overcomes many difficulties due to the appearance of nonlocal dispersal operators. 展开更多

Gyllenberg and Yan(Discrete Contin Dyn Syst Ser B 11(2):347–352,2009)presented a system in Zeeman’s class 30 of 3-dimensional Lotka-Volterra(3D LV)competitive systems to admit at least two limit cycles,one of which is generated by the Hopf bifurcation and the other is obtained by the Poincaré-Bendixson theorem.Yu et al.(J Math Anal Appl 436:521–555,2016,Sect.3.4)recalculated the first Liapunov coefficient of Gyllenberg and Yan’s system to be positive,rather than negative as in Gyllenberg and Yan(2009),and pointed out that the Poincaré-Bendixson theorem is not applicable for that system.Jiang et al.(J Differ Equ 284:183–218,2021,p.213)proposed an open question:“whether Zeeman’s class 30 can be rigorously proved to admit at least two limit cycles by the Hopf theorem and the Poincaré-Bendixson theorem?”This paper provides four systems in Zeeman’s class 30 to admit at least two limit cycles by the Hopf theorem and the Poincaré-Bendixson theorem and gives an answer to the above question. 展开更多

By means of a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are derived for the global asymptotic stability of the positive solutions of the system. As a corollary, it is shown that the global asymptotic stability of the positive solution is maintained provided that the delayed negative feedbacks dominate other interspecific interaction effects with delays and the delays are sufficiently small. 展开更多

Recently, the distributed generator (DG) has been successfully studied and applied in distribution system at many countries around the world. Many planning models of the DG integrated distribution system have been proposed. These models can choose the optimization locations, capacities and technologies of DG with the objective function minimizing power loss, investment costs or total life cycle costs of the investment project. However, capacity of DG that uses renewable energy resources is natural variability according to primary energy. This study proposed a planning model of optimized distribution system that integrates DG in the competitive electricity market. Model can determine equipment sizing and timeframe requiring for upgrading equipment of distribution system as well as select DG technologies with power variable constraints of DG. The objective function is minimizing total life cycle cost of the investment project. The proposed model is calculated and tested for a 48-bus radial distribution system in the GAMS programming language. 展开更多

As the importance of tourism economy for a region's economic development is standing out,tourism competitiveness becomes an important indicator to measure a region's economic development.In this paper,based on the related researches of other scholars,with the data from the China Tourism Statistical Yearbook as the basic support,a tourism competitiveness system covering 44 indicators of 6 items including industry scale competitiveness,consumption competitiveness,extraversion competitiveness and industry development competitiveness was constructed,and the competitiveness of 31 provinces and cities in China during 1996 and 2004 was comparatively studied.It was found that there were obvious differences among the tourism competitiveness of different provinces,and generally speaking,the comprehensive competitiveness showed a two-way development trend;from the view of the individual competitiveness,the scale competitiveness of the tourism showed a polarization trend;there were obvious changes in the consumption competitiveness;the extraversion as a whole has been improved;the industry development competitiveness has been steadily promoted;the reception ability of different provinces differed greatly and the advantages of scientific and technological progress was becoming more and more significant. 展开更多

Within the global urban system, the statistical relationship between urban eco-environment(UE) and urban competitiveness(UC)(RUEC) is researched. Data showed that there is a statistically inverted-U relationship between UE and UC. Eco-environmental factor is put into the classification of industries, and gets six industrial types by two indexes viz. industries' eco-environmental demand and pressure. The statistical results showed that there is a strong relationship, for new industrial classification, between the changes of industrial structure and evolvement of UE. The drive mechanism of the evolvement of urban eco-environment, with human demand and global work division was analyzed. The conclusion is that the development stratege, industrial policies of cities, and environmental policies fo cities must be fit with their ranks among the global urban system. At the era of globalization, so far as the environmental policies, their rationality could not be assessed with the level of strictness, but it can enhance cities' competitiveness when they are fit with cities' capabilities to attract and control some sections of the industry's value-chain.
