As the [signed] absolute values of complex coordinates of the underlying motion’s characterization in C4 one obtains a Newtonian-like type of motion whereas as the real parts of the complex motion’s description and of the complex Lorentz transformation, all the SR theory as modeled by M4 real space-time can be recovered. This means all the SR theory is preserved in the real subspace M4 of the space-time C4 while becoming simpler and clearer in the new complex model’s framework. Since velocities in the complex model can be determined geometrically, with no primary use of time, time turns out to be definable within the equivalent theory of the reduced complex C4 model to the C3 “para-space” model. That procedure allows us to separate time from the (para)space and consider all the SR theory as a theory of C3 alone. On the other hand, the complex time defined within the C3 theory is interpreted and modeled by the single separate C1 complex plane. The possibility for application of the C3 model to quantum mechanics is suggested. As such, the model C3 seems to have unifying abilities for application to different physical theories.展开更多

Unlike the other methods, assuming that the dynamics of the network can be described by a linear stochastic model, or using the state variables of nodes in the network to design an adaptive observer, it only uses the output variable of the nodes to design an observer and an adaptive law of topology matrix in the observer of a complex network, leading to simple design of the observer and easy realisation of topology monitoring for the complex networks in real engineering. Firstly,by the state decomposition, synchronization problems are transformed into asymptotic stability ones of multiple lower dimensional time-delayed subsystems. Then, linear matrix inequality( LMI) criteria for synchronization are given, which can guarantee the scalability of complex networks since they only include three LMI constraints independent of the number of agents. Moreover,an explicit expression of the synchronization function is presented, which can describe the synchronization behavior of all agents in complex networks. Many previous existing works on load-redistribution strategies require global information, which is not suitable for large scale networks, and some strategies based on local information assume that the load of a node is always its initial load before the network is attacked, and the load of the failure node is redistributed to its neighbors according to their initial load or initial residual capacity. This paper proposes a new load-redistribution strategy based on local information considering an ever-changing load. It redistributes the loads of the failure node to its nearest neighbors according to their current residual capacity, which makes full use of the residual capacity of the network. Experiments are conducted on two typical networks and two real networks, and the experimental results show that the new load-redistribution strategy can reduce the size of cascading failure efficiently.展开更多

In this letter original unitary space-time constellation is divided into several groups. Each one is treated as the leaf nodes set of a subtree. Choosing the unitary signals that represent each group as the roots of these subtrees generates a tree-structured constellation. The proposed tree search decoder decides to which sub tree the receive signal belongs by searching in the set of subtree roots. The final decision is made after a local search in the leaf nodes set of the se-lected sub tree. The adjacent subtree joint decoder performs joint search in the selected sub tree and its “surrounding” subtrees, which improves the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of purely tree search method. The exhaustively search in the whole constellation is avoided in our proposed decoding al-gorithms,a lower complexity is obtained compared to that of Maximum Likelihood (ML) decoding. Simulation results have also been provided to demonstrate the feasibility of these new methods.展开更多

文摘Two reduced-complexity decoding algorithms for unitary space-time codes based on tree-structured constellation are presented. Simulation results have also been provided to demonstrate the feasibility of these new methods.
