The ubiquitous power Internet of Things(UPIoT)is an intelligent service system with comprehensive state perception,efficient processing,and flexible application of information.It focuses on each link of the power system and makes full use of the mobile internet,artificial intelligence,and other advanced information and communication technologies in order to realize the inter-human interaction of all things in all links of the power system.This article systematically presents to the national and international organizations and agencies in charge of UPIoT layer standardization the status quo of the research on the Internet of Things(IoT)-related industry standards system.It briefly describes the generic standard classification methods,layered architecture,conceptual model,and system tables in the UPIoT application layer.Based on the principles of inheritance,innovation,and practicability,this study divides the application layer into customer service,power grid operation,integrated energy,and enterprise operation,emerging business and analyzes the standard requirements of these five fields.This study also proposes a standard plan.Finally,it summarizes the research report and provides suggestions for a follow-up work. 展开更多

With the use of multimedia which combines the use o f text, sound, images, motion video and animation, it is more efficient for studen ts to learn mould design interactively. A program is created using several multi media software to simulate the mechanism of moulding processes in order to let s tudents understand the concept of mould design. In addition, students can even access the program through the Internet. Therefore, the software is defined as Multimedia and Internet Technology (MIT) program. The MIT program consists of four sections: (i) simulation of mould mechanisms, ( ii) cooling system, (iii) material information and (iv) games for tutorials. Sec tion One covers the basic operations of different types of moulds such as two-p late mould, three-plate mould, split mould, side-core mould and mould with und ercuts. Section Two introduces different types of cooling systems such as bubble r, baffle, cooling circuits, etc. Section Three provides some useful material in formation for mould design. Section Four contains games of matching mould compon ents, mould design problem finding and multiple choice questions to test student s how much they understand mould design concept. Multimedia is highly effective particularly in teaching and learning. It changes the nature of learning itself. It makes reading dynamic by giving words an impo rtant new dimension. It allows students to see, hear and do simultaneously, thus significantly reducing average learning time. Furthermore, through cooperative learning on Internet, students can access the program, share data or search info rmation anytime anywhere. Heuristic Computing Methods for Contact Plan Design in the Spatial-Node-Based Internet of Everything 被引量:3

To satisfy the increasing demands of high-speed transmission, high-efficiency computing, and real-time communications in the high-dynamic and heterogeneous networks, the Contact Plan Design(CPD) has attracted continuous attention in recent years, especially for the spatial-node-based Internet of Everything(IoE). In this paper, we study the NP-hardness of contact scheduling and the attenuation of atmospheric precipitation in the spatial-node-based IoE. Two heuristic computing methods for contact plan design are proposed by comprehensively considering the time-varying topology, the intermittent connectivity, and the adaptive transmission in different weather conditions, which are named Contact Plan Design-Particle Swarm Optimization(CPD-PSO) and Contact Plan Design-Greedy algorithm with the Minimum Delivery Time(CPD-GMDT) separately. For the population-based algorithm, CPD-PSO not only solves the CPD problem with a limited-resource condition, but also dynamically adjusts the search scope to ensure the continuous searching capability of the algorithm. For the CPD-GMDT that makes CP decisions based on the current state, the algorithm uses the idea of greedy algorithm to schedule Satellite-Platform Links(SPLs) and Inter Satellite Links(ISLs) respectively using the strategies of optimal matching and load balancing. The simulation results show that the proposed CPD-PSO outperforms Contact Plan Design-Genetic Algorithm(CPD-GA) in terms of fitness and delivery time, and CPD-GMDT presents better overall delay than Fair Contact Plan(FCP). 展开更多

The Internet of Things promises to offer numerous societal benefits by providing a spectrum of user applications.However,ethical ramifications of adopting such pervasive technology on a society-wide scale have not been adequately considered.Smart things endowed with artificial intelligence may carry out decisions that entail ethical consequences.It is assumed that the functioning of a smart device does not involve any ethical responsibility vis-a-vis its application context.Such a perspective may precipitate situations that endanger essential human values or cause physical or emotional harm.Therefore,it is necessary to consider the design of ethics within intelligent systems to safeguard human interests.In order to address these concerns,we propose a novel method based on Boolean algebra that enables a machine to exhibit varying ethical behaviour by employing the concept of ethics categories and ethics modes.Such enhancement of smart things offers a way to design ethically compliant smart devices and paves way for human friendly technology ecosystems. 展开更多

A particular challenge for online engineering is how to extend the traditional equipments and laboratories to the Internet. A method of the embedded systems design with using online laboratory is described in this paper. In this paper,the Web-based integration methodology and framework have been developed to facilitate collabora- tive and concurrent engineering design in distributed manufacturing environments.The distributed concurrent engineering and co- design are discussed as key components in the mechanism.The related integration system is presented,which includes four function- al modules:co-design,Web-based visualization,manufacturing analysis and look-up service.It can be used for a design team geo- graphically distributed to organize a collaborative and concurrent engineering design effectively.In particular,the collaborative mechanism incorporated with Java-based and Internet-enabled technologies can generate extended strategies for design and planning. Thus,the proposed integration architecture enables the system to be generic,open and scalable.Finally,for the trend of global manufacturing,a case study of Internet-enabled collaborative optimization is introduced and a discussion on teamwork capability is made. 展开更多

This paper aims to realize the extensive application of Internet of things technology in urban waterlogging prevention management system, and has analyzed the security requirement and security architecture of Internet of things technology, and discussed the demand of urban waterlogging prevention management system in combination with the key technology of Internet of things technology, to do the overall design and functional design well during designing of urban waterlogging prevention management system. Finally, the application process of the Internet of things technology in Chongqing waterlogging prevention management system is summarized. The application result shows that the flood control and drainage function of Chongqing is gradually improved with smooth drainage facilities;the inspection and maintenance management is gradually standardized;operation monitoring and early warning management is fully strengthened. There is visual management for emergency command and dispatch, and at the same time, the drainage pipe network assessment management can be conducted correctly. 展开更多

With the growth of the scale of the market for Internet banking and e-commerce,the number of Internet-based financial markets has been increasing.Meanwhile,hacking incidents continuously affect Internet-banking services.For this reason,a countermeasure is required to improve the security of the online identification process.The current security and authentication mechanisms applied to financial services,such as Internet banking services for 5G-enabled IoT,do not ensure security.In this paper,a transaction-linkage technique with which the designated terminal is combined is proposed to solve this fundamental problem.The technique improves the security of online identification mechanisms because it is possible to counteract all of the existing security threats.The proposed technique supports mutual authentication and is safe from eavesdropping attacks,replay attacks,spoofing attacks,and service-denial attacks.Moreover,the technique supports non-repudiation by storing the transaction history in a transaction-linkage device.We believe that the security of Internet-banking services for 5G-enabled IoT will be increased through the utilization of the proposed technique. 展开更多

Background:As a neglected cross-species parasitic disease transmitted between canines and livestock,echinococcosis remains a global public health concern with a heavy disease burden.In China,especially in the epidemic pastoral communities on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,the harsh climate,low socio-economic status,poor overall hygiene,and remote and insufficient access to all owned dogs exacerbate the difficulty in implementing the ambitious control programme for echinococcosis.We aimed to design and implement a remote management system(RMS)based on internet of things(loT)for control and surveillance of echinococcosis by combining deworming devices to realise long-distance smart deworming control,smooth statistical analysis and result display.New methods and tools are urgently needed to increase the deworming coverage and frequency,promote real-time scientific surveillance,and prevent transmission of echinococcosis in remoted transmission areas. 展开更多
