It can reasonably be expressed by a system evaluation analysis. As a matter of fact, the system, aimed by its system goal can be modelled by a set of factors, constitutively structured by certain links between them, to form a factorial network chart, which represents the essentials of the system behaviours, the nodes of which represent the factors concerned. The weight distribution between factors located at the same level can be determined by the eigen-value problem of a 'pair comparison' relation matrix. The weight distribution of factors at each level is successively manipulated until the fuzzy synthetic risk assessment. As an example of risk analysis of engineering investment, a harbour construction project is presented for illustration.展开更多

The optimum dimensions of the mould were obtained. It is found that the stress distribution is very uneven, and the stress convergence is rather severe in the bridge of the aluminum profile extrusion mould. The optimum height of the mould is 70.527 mm, and the optimum radius of dividing holes are 70.182 mm and 80.663 mm. Increasing the height of the mould in the range of 61.282 mm to 70.422 mm can prolong its longevity, but when the height is over 70.422 mm, its longevity reduces.展开更多

A total of 2835 endoscopic images from the duodenum were recorded in 290 children using the modified immersion technique(MIT). These children underwent routine upper endoscopy for suspected CD or non-celiac upper abdominal symptoms between August 2008 and December 2014. Blinded to the clinical data and biopsy results, three medical experts visually classified each image as normal mucosa(Marsh-0) or villous atrophy(Marsh-3). The experts' decisions were further integrated into state-of-the-arttexture recognition systems. Using the biopsy results as the reference standard, the classification accuracies of this hybrid approach were compared to the experts' diagnoses in 27 different settings.RESULTS: Compared to the experts' diagnoses, in 24 of 27 classification settings(consisting of three imaging modalities, three endoscopists and three classification approaches), the best overall classification accuracies were obtained with the new hybrid approach. In 17 of 24 classification settings, the improvements achieved with the hybrid approach were statistically significant(P < 0.05). Using the hybrid approach classification accuracies between 94% and 100% were obtained. Whereas the improvements are only moderate in the case of the most experienced expert, the results of the less experienced expert could be improved significantly in 17 out of 18 classification settings. Furthermore, the lowest classification accuracy, based on the combination of one database and one specific expert, could be improved from 80% to 95%(P < 0.001).CONCLUSION: The overall classification performance of medical experts, especially less experienced experts, can be boosted significantly by integrating expert knowledge into computer-aided diagnosis systems.展开更多

Based on the real dynamic tensile-shear failure mechanism of slope, the paper proposes dynamic analysis of strength reduction FEM (finite element method) and takes the reduction of shear strength parameters and tensile strength parameters into consideration. And it comprehensively takes the transfixion of the failure surface, the non-convergence of calculation and mutation of displacement as the criterion of dynamic instability and failure of the slope. The strength reduction factor under limit state is regarded as the dynamic safety factor of the slope under earthquake effect and its advantages are introduced. Finally, the method is applied in the seismic design of anchors supporting and anti-slide pile supporting of the slope. Calculation examples show that the application of dynamic analysis of strength reduction is feasible in the seismic design of slope engineering, which can consider dynamic interaction of supporting structure and rock-soil mass. Owing to its preciseness and great advantages,it is a new method in the seismic design of slope supporting.展开更多

Methods: Epididymides from five adult rats and five adult mice were fixed in alcoholic Bouin's fixative and embedded in paraffin. Serial longitudinal sections through the medial aspect of the organ were cut at 10 jam and stained with hematoxylin and eosin. As determined from major connective tissue septa, nine subdivisions of the rat epididymis and seven for the mouse were determined, consisting of five sub-regions in the caput (rat and mouse), one (mouse) or three (rat) in the corpus and one in the cauda (rat and mouse). Using the Epiquatre software, several tubular, luminal and epithelial morphometric parameters were evaluated. Results: Statistical comparison of the quantitative parameters revealed regional differences (2-5 in the rat, 3-6 in the mouse, dependent on parameters) with caput regions 1 and 2 being largely distinguishable from the similar remaining caput and corpus, which were in turn recognizable from the cauda regions in both species. Conclusion: The use of the Epiquatre software allowed us to establish regression curves for different morphometric parameters that can permit the detection of changes in their values under different pathological or experimental conditions. 文摘Aiming at characteristics of underground engineering, analyzed the feasibility of Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) used in underground engineering, and put forward a modularization-based MDO method and the idea of MDO to resolve problems in stability analysis, proving the validity and feasibility of using MDO in underground engi- neering.Characteristics of uncertainty, complexity and nonlinear become bottle-neck to carry on underground engineering stability analysis by MDO.Therefore, the application of MDO in underground engineering stability analysis is still at a stage of exploration, which need some deep research.
文摘Construction and commissioning accidents investigation shows that engineer’s errors in basic and detailed phases are the main causes. It will be gained more efficiency of investment when a relevant method is applied for error identification and risk assessment in basic and detailed phases. Most of risk assessment methods are related to construction phase, meanwhile hidden risks that were happen in previous phases cannot be found by these methods.Although HAZOP study can be applied in detail phase but it can help to find process defections.Importance of identifying risks in basic and detailed phases is to apply preventive actions against birth and grows risks. This risk assessment method can reduce costs and improve environmental protection, safety, and reliability of designs. The main purpose of this study is to identify engineer’s errors and analyse their HSE effects. The method is applied in seven oil and gas engineering projects in Iran, raising the level of engineer’s attention to safety precautions and environmentally-friendly design, reducing the cost of improving the level of safety and environmental protection, improving environmental protection, safety, and design reliability, and improving procedures related to design process and control have been achieved.
文摘This research describes a quantitative, rapid, and low-cost methodology for debris flow susceptibility evaluation at the basin scale using open-access data and geodatabases. The proposed approach can aid decision makers in land management and territorial planning,by first screening for areas with a higher debris flow susceptibility.Five environmental predisposing factors, namely, bedrock lithology, fracture network, quaternary deposits, slope inclination, and hydrographic network, were selected as independent parameters and their mutual interactions were described and quantified using the Rock Engineering System(RES)methodology. For each parameter, specific indexes were proposed, aiming to provide a final synthetic and representative index of debris flow susceptibility at the basin scale. The methodology was tested in four basins located in the Upper Susa Valley(NW Italian Alps)where debris flow events are the predominant natural hazard. The proposed matrix can represent a useful standardized tool, universally applicable, since it is independent of type and characteristic of the basin.

文摘Geotechnical seismic engineering belongs to the cross field of geotechnical engineering and earthquake engineering. Due to the dual effects of the variability of geotechnical objects and the complexity of dynamic loading, the scientific problems involved in this field have to face more uncertainties. Through the analysis on the status quo of uncertainty analysis methods in geotechnical earthquake engineering in the field of non deterministic analysis clear difficulties, weak links with all kinds of uncertainty analysis method to solve the inherent weakness of determining geotechnical earthquake engineering uncertainty problem, and can determine the establishment and improvement to provide some ideas and direction analysis model for non.
