Improving Teaching Methods to Arouse Students' Interest

English,the widest used language in the world,has been required to learn in almost every school and university in China.Some students cannot do well in English study,because they lack of interest in English.As an English teacher,it is urgent to improve teaching method to arouse students' interest.This thesis stated the reason why students don't have interest in English study,the relationship between knowledge learning and interest,and also the improvement of teaching method.

Chinese International Students' Attitudes to the Teaching Methods of Lecture, Seminar and Tutorial in UK Universities

Nowadays in many countries, students prefer to study overseas. The UK is one of the popular destinations for Chinese students. This paper investigates the teaching methods of lecture, seminar and tutorial in UK universities from the perspective of Chinese international students, who have a different educational background from British students. This paper does a survey on this issue and provides some strategies for both the teachers and Chinese students in UK universities for their work and study.

Research on the Reform of the Course“Reading of Concrete Structure Plan and Construction Drawings”Under the Background of“Promoting Teaching and Learning Through Competitions”

The inherent teaching approach can no longer meet the demands of society.In this paper,current issues within the teaching landscape of architectural engineering technology in higher vocational colleges as well as the policies and teaching demands that formed the basis of this model were analyzed.The study shows the importance of the implementation of the teaching model“promoting teaching and learning through competitions.”This model puts emphasis on the curriculum and teaching resources,while also integrating the teaching process and evaluation with competition.These efforts aim to drive education reform in order to better align with the objectives of vocational education personnel training,while also acting as a reference for similar courses.

A Study of English Teaching Methods for Art Students

Partly because of the influence exerted by the traditional educational management,there are still many problems in Eng⁃lish Teaching for art students.In order to improve their English proficiency and develop their English abilities matched with their professional skills,it is necessary to explore news English Teaching methods for art students.This paper mainly discusses the main characteristics of art students’learning,and analyzes the problems of teaching methods adopted by English teachers.Finally,this paper puts forwards some new suggestions in terms of the situation,with the purpose of providing reference for English teaching re⁃form in art schools in China.

Effectiveness of experiential teaching method on the development of nursing students’skill competence:a systematic review and meta-analysis

Objective:Skill competence is essential for nursing students and experiential teaching method has become increasingly popular in China’s nursing education.To systematically evaluate the effects of experiential teaching method on the development of nursing students’skill competence,and to provide evidence for nursing education.Methods:The China National Knowledge Infrastructure,VIP,Wanfang Data,PubMed,and Web of Science databases were searched from their inception until November 28,2019.We screened the studies according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,extracted the data,and assessed the quality.Then,a meta-analysis was conducted.Results:Totally 15 studies were included,and 1,633 nursing students were analyzed by Review Manager5.3 and Stata15.1 software.The results show that the experiential teaching method can significantly improve nursing students’nursing skills such as training(SMD=1.05,95%CI:0.95–1.16,P=0.000),learning interest(ES=0.93,95%CI:0.79–1.06),ability to analyze and solve problems(ES=0.75,95%CI:0.55–0.94),ability to judge and innovative thinking(ES=1.01,95%CI:0.77–1.25),abilities of understanding and perception(ES=0.59,95%CI:0.34–0.83),and teaching satisfaction(ES=1.26,95%CI:1.13–1.4).Conclusions:The results suggest that the experiential teaching method is more effective for the nursing students’skill competence than traditional teaching in China.However,due to the heterogeneity and bias risk,a large sample and high-quality studies are needed in future to confirm its effectiveness.

How to Promote Students' English Achievements By Using Non-intelligence Factors

Psychological researches showed that learning activities are under the constant impact of both between learners’internal factors and external factors,and learners’internal factors,in specific,include intelligence factors and non-intelligence factors.This article explores the relations between 11 non-intelligence factors with students’English achievements by adopting the method of questionnaire.The research shows that non-intelligence factors and students’English achievements have a close relation.Therefore,teachers should cultivate students’non-intelligence factors to promote students’English achievements.

Research on the Application of Problem-Based Learning(PBL)Teaching Method in Clinical Emergency Teaching

Objective:To explore the application advantages of problem-based learning(PBL)teaching method in clinical emergency teaching.Methods:Two classes of students in the five-year clinical medicine major of our university were selected as the research subjects and divided into two groups according to different teaching methods.Among them,50 students who received the traditional teaching method constituted the control group,while 52 students who received the PBL teaching method constituted the observation group.After one semester,an exam was conducted to assess their theoretical knowledge and first-aid practical skills,and evaluate their clinical thinking skills.At the same time,a teaching satisfaction questionnaire was distributed to evaluate the teaching satisfaction.Results:The results of the t-test showed that the observation group was significantly higher than the control group in terms of theoretical assessment,first aid practical assessment,and clinical thinking skills,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of theχ2 test showed that the difference in teaching satisfaction between the observation group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the teaching satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group.Conclusion:Compared with traditional teaching methods,applying PBL teaching method in clinical emergency teaching can achieve more significant teaching effects.Students’mastery of theoretical knowledge,first aid practical skills,and clinical thinking skills can be effectively strengthened,and it is conducive to improving teaching satisfaction.

课程思政在本科生医学心理学教学中的效果评价

目的 本研究通过在临床医学五年制医学心理学教学中融入课程思政,与传统讲授式教学方法比较,以观察课程思政在医学心理学教学中的效果。方法 选取2016—2019级吉林大学临床医学五年制进行医学心理学学习的学生323名作为研究对象,根据教学方法的不同分为对照组(传统讲授式教学方法)161名及观察组(融入课程思政教学模式)162名。于课程结束时,通过调查问卷的形式比较两组学生对医学心理学课程教学效果的评价。结果 问卷调查结果显示,观察组在心理健康与人际关系能力、自主学习能力、医患关系及医患沟通能力、岗位胜任力方面均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),各二级指标除掌握医学心理学基本知识和应用技能、创新意识及学习新知识能力方面外观察组得分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 在临床医学五年制本科教学过程中,融入课程思政的医学心理学教学模式,提高了学生的心理健康与人际关系、自主学习、医患关系及医患沟通等方面的能力,对提升学生岗位胜任力具有重要意义。

On the Application of Game-playing in the English Vocabulary Teaching for Junior High School Students

As is known to all,mastering a quantity of vocabulary is the key of English learning.Literature research,observational method and empirical research are the main methodologies of the study.The interview and corresponding sound recording help figure out the traditional vocabulary teaching methodologies.The finished questionnaire plays an important role in getting familiar with participants’vocabulary learning conditions.The results of the study manifest that game-playing method takes effect in vocabulary teaching.Not only can the games activate participants’enthusiasm,but also involve them in the activity and help focus on their attention.It is beneficial to help them mastering vocabularies more firmly.

面向中外学生的混凝土结构教学实践与思考

该文分析“一带一路”倡议背景下留学生混凝土结构教学面临的国际化教学挑战,传统的混凝土教学模式在国外留学生加入教育背景下亟需改进。该文首先分析天津大学土木工程系留学生构成比例及混凝土教学所面临的不同国家混凝土设计规范差异,分析作者所教授的混凝土结构设计和全英文高等混凝土结构等课程特点,并提出加强课程思政、丰富教学方法、重视实习基地、因材施教调整教学内容和多重考核方式的课程教学措施。以期达到提升混凝土教学质量,提升中外学生培养质量,增强中外学生人才培养素质,助力我国“一带一路”发展建设。

医学教育中科普教育的实践与思考

医生的继续教育是一个终身的过程,随着医学知识的不断更新,医生需要时刻保持学习的态度。由于医生身份的特殊性,医学培养的过程极为复杂。医学继续教育在此过程中起到承前启后的作用。传统的学校教育已无法满足医生对继续学习的需求,探讨医生继续教育的方式成为一个长期研究的话题。把医生培养成合格的临床工作者是医学教育追求的目标。在人们对健康的日益关注下,有必要对大众进行科普宣传。为了更有效地进行科普宣传,对医生进行科普教育是必要的。科普教育旨在教导医生将复杂难懂的医学知识以通俗易懂的语言呈现,帮助患者更清楚地了解疾病,积极配合医生的诊断和治疗。这不仅使大众受益于知识的学习,还能减少经济损失,有利于医患关系的和谐。通过科普的继续医学教育,可以避免过度宣传,以新颖且易懂的方式表达。在教学过程中,可以从名人的角度、疾病的季节性,以及常见的职业和生活场景中寻找话题。因此,将科普教育引入医学生的教育中,对于提升医学生的教学质量具有重要意义。

图式思维工具在医学英文文献阅读教学中的应用

作为未来从事医学及科研的医学生,医学英文文献阅读是其必须具备的能力,可以帮助医学生获得更多前沿知识,更好地将理论和实践结合起来。医学英文文献包含研究方法和临床疾病诊治原则,是医学生获得临床和科研知识尤其是前沿知识的主要来源。而英语基础薄弱的学生在英文文献阅读方面存在一定困难。笔者将Thinking Maps及Mind Map两大类图式思维工具运用于医学生英文文献阅读教学,帮助学生梳理英文文献,快速掌握文献阅读技巧。文章通过一篇英文文献的讲解介绍图式思维工具在英文文献教学中的应用,并采用问卷调查的方法调研该教学方法实施效果:有100%的学生表示该教学方法对英文文献的阅读有帮助,对理清英文文献主题,对文章结构及重点的把握都有很大的提高;所有学生认为有必要继续采用该教学方法进行英文文献学习。学生对图式思维工具辅助医学英文文献阅读持肯定态度。

微视频反例教学法结合微格教学法对实习护士临床思维及核心能力的影响

目的探讨微视频反例教学法结合微格教学法对实习护士临床思维及核心能力的影响。方法选择2021年1月至12月的20名科室实习护士为对照组(常规护理带教模式),另选取2022年1月至12月的20名科室实习护士为观察组(微视频反例教学法结合微格教学法)。比较两组的出科成绩、临床思维能力、核心能力及教学满意度。结果观察组的理论成绩、技能操作成绩、案例分析成绩高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组的中文版批判性思维能力测量表(CTDI-CV)各维度评分明显高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组的职业态度、治疗沟通和关系、一般表现、具体的临床表现评分明显高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组的教学满意度明显高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论微视频反例教学法结合微格教学法可提升实习护士的综合素质与临床思维,也能提高核心能力与教学满意度,值得推广应用。
